00:00With news of a major heat wave in the UK this week, I visited the biggest park in Sheffield,
00:05Graves Park, to see what activities there are in store for people wanting to enjoy the sun.
00:11We parked up on the side nearest to the animal park and took a walk inside. Although I'm a bit
00:16too old for a park nowadays, it looked like great fun for the younger kids. There was also a cafe
00:21handily placed nearby for parents wanting to grab a couple of snacks or a drink. I was really
00:27impressed with the beautiful flowers all around the park and all of the greenery and this little
00:32bug hotel. The expanses of green fields and green grass to walk or run through were amazing. I can
00:37just imagine this being a great spot for runners as well. Because it was so hot, I decided to go
00:42down by the duck pond and hide in the shade a little bit. There were literally loads of little ducks and
00:49the lily pads really added to the vibe of the pond. Walking through the trees here just felt quite
00:54magical to be honest and it was definitely welcome on such a hot day. This is also me sat down enjoying
01:02the view of the ducks and the scenery all around. Then I finally got up and walked to go and have a
01:07look at some of the games that were in store. So this was a football pitch and I think there was also
01:11a cricket ground. So there's definitely lots of things to do to keep everyone busy. The final stop
01:15was the tennis court which I couldn't believe the beautiful views over the hills.
