After Dying, Humans Get Teleported to an Alternate Earth and Forced to Hunt Aliens
As Kei and Kato try to rescue a man from the subway tracks, they get run over by a train. They later wake up in a room with the black sphere named Gantz, which tells them that it now owns their lives. Gantz tasks them to kill aliens to either save themselves, or someone they care for.
Gantz is a Japanese series of live-action action horror science fiction films. The Gantz series is based on Hiroya Oku's manga series, Gantz. The films are titled Gantz, the sequel Gantz: Perfect Answer, and a made-for-TV movie titled Another Gantz.

00:00The movie begins with a guy named Ki Kirono who is waiting for the train while rehearsing some lines for a job interview
00:06and sees in the distance a childhood friend named Masaru Kato.
00:10Out of nowhere, a man falls onto the train tracks and the only one who goes to help him is Kato
00:16who starts saying that the man is drunk and needs help getting out.
00:19At first, Ki pretends not to notice and doesn't even look at him even though Kato calls out to him
00:25but he goes to help when Kato is left alone and unable to climb up.
00:29Unfortunately for them, Kato's wheat causes Ki to fall as well and both end up being hit by the train.
00:36Seconds later, they appear in a room along with other people who are gathered around a black sphere.
00:41The others start arguing about whether they died or not and things like that
00:46just as a girl appears in the middle of the room.
00:49Since she isn't wearing any clothes, Kato gives her his jacket a few seconds before the black sphere begins to display some words.
00:56In short, it tells them that their lives now belong to it and gives them the order to kill an alien better known as the Scallion Boy.

01:29Aside from the bald guy, they find several briefcases with a suit inside and many black weapons for each of them.
01:36Since the girl named Kishimoto has nothing except that jacket, she is the only one who puts on the suit along with another guy named Nishi.
01:45After arguing again about whether they're dead or not, they all begin to disappear little by little and are transported to a lonely street.
01:53Nishi tells them that, to be honest, they are inside a television show and that they are using virtual reality in which the grand prize is $100,000.
02:02Everyone except Kei, Kato, and Kishimoto runs after the Green Onion Kid who is a few meters away and tries to kill him just as the mission says.
02:13After running here and there, they finally corner him in a room where a guy gets ahead of them and shoots him.
02:18The effect is shown a few seconds later when one of his arms goes splash.
02:23Kato also arrives at the scene and witnesses how the others also proceed to shoot him.
02:28What they didn't know is that, besides the Green Onion Kid, there was a Green Onion Man much bigger than them.
02:35This man grabs the first one who attacked, shoots him in the leg, and uses his body as a shield from the others' attacks.
02:42This is heard by Kei, who hadn't gone after the kid, and he arrives at the same place just as the last survivor is Kato.
02:49At the same moment, our friend Kishimoto arrives, attacks the Onion Man, and realizes that, using that suit, she doesn't feel the blows she receives.
02:58The Onion Man is about to attack Kei until Nishi arrives and throws a trap at him that immobilizes him.
03:05Nishi hands the weapon to Kei so that he can shoot him, and, according to him, earns some points.
03:10But seeing that he can't do it, Nishi ends up shooting instead.
03:14After this, they disappear again and reappear in the same room as before, where, besides them, another guy also returns who, despite having been badly injured, was still alive.
03:24The guy explains to them that, after completing a mission, they return safe and sound, even if they were in the worst condition, and that the sphere in the middle is called GANS.
03:34The GANS activates and starts giving them points based on their participation, in which everyone gets zero, except for Nishi, who gets five.
03:42Kato confronts him for not helping the others and for deceiving them with all that reality show stuff, while Kei asks Nishi what the heck is going on.
03:50The boy looks at the GANS and tells him, it's time to go back, and somehow, Kei reappears in his room.
03:56He goes again to the train station where the accident happened and sees that there is an announcement about it.
04:01After this, he attends a job interview where it seems to go badly for him, and we see that at his university, there is a girl who is in love with him.
04:09The thing is that when this girl mentions a friend she had, it gives him some flashbacks that remind him of everything that happened with Kato.
04:15While he looks for Kato's address, we discover that they used to be best friends when they were kids, so he goes to his old house but is surprised to find out that he no longer lives there.
04:25He walks down the same street where the onion man had to be disposed of, sees the whole place destroyed, and comes across Kishimoto herself, who shows him the black suit she was wearing that day.
04:36Kei tells her that he didn't find Kato, but that he thinks everything that happened was real.
04:40She tells him that she thinks so too, but that she knows no one will believe them, and she asks him for the favor of staying with him that day.
04:48This naughty guy was getting everything ready to do the Fruit of Fantastic, but he stops when Kishimoto tells him that she has nowhere to go because she used to live with her ex-lover who now lives with another girl.
04:59Upon finding this out, Kishimoto tried to end her life, then woke up in that room with the black sphere, and later found herself back in her room just like him.
05:08Kishimoto takes out of her backpack the jacket that Kato gave her.
05:12They see that a small book fits inside where it said something about being in a correctional facility.
05:18Kei remembers that Kato used to have an alcoholic father when he was a child, and that maybe he could have followed those bad steps,
05:25but Kishimoto tells him to shut his mouth because Kato seems to be a good person.
05:30Meanwhile, we see Kato having nightmares about the night the Green Onion Kid was killed, and we find out he has a little brother named Ayumu.
05:38Just when he decides to go back to sleep, he hears a strange noise and vanishes, only to reappear in the room where the Gants was.
05:46There we see again the survivors of the previous mission, where Ki, Kishimoto, and some new people are present.
05:52The Gants once again displays messages written on its surface and gives them the new task of killing an alien named Tanaka.
05:59Nishi explains to them that the Gants calls them back whenever necessary, and that at first he didn't say anything because he wanted to use the newcomers as bait.
06:08Now that they know, the kids put on the suits to face the new enemy.
06:12Unfortunately, the grandmother and the boy are killed.
06:15Shortly after, Kei appears in the same place and barely manages to save himself using his weapon.
06:21Then Tanaka goes up against Nishi and hits him many, many times, until Kato is the only one who decides to go help him.
06:28Before leaving with the Makoko, Nishi tells them that upon reaching 100 points, they can use them to revive a dead person.
06:36Finally, Kei uses the weapon to stop Tanaka's attack and causes a big explosion that also affects him.
06:42Luckily, their reconstruction takes time, but eventually happens, and they reunite with the other guys in the lobby where Gants starts handing out their points.

07:37And since Kato is now much more comfortable, he tells him that he was sent to juvenile detention for having killed his father because he used to beat his brother every day.
07:47Thanks to these recent events, we see that Kei realizes he has some talent for killing aliens, and that maybe that's his calling.
07:55While Kato's motivation is to return safe and sound so he can be with his brother.
08:00Back in that lobby, Gants tells them that their next target is an alien made of tempered metal.
08:05Kato tries to convince the newcomers to put on the suit to face that thing, while Kei tells him to chill because, just like when they were kids, he's there to protect him.
08:15Kato tells him that's not his goal, but rather that no one else dies.
08:19And Kei tells him not to be so stone-faced because all he cares about is saving himself and getting back home.
08:25As they are arguing, they begin to disappear and reappear in the middle of a road where they see a large statue that has the same face as the person they have to kill.
08:35Indeed, they discover that this is the guy when one of them shoots him with the weapon.
08:40While Kato wants everyone to unite to give him a group shot, Kei says that he can defeat the guy without their help.
08:46At the same time, a religious knight and a rookie girl escape to some kind of temple where there are more metal figures.
08:53Kei continues with his idea of doing everything alone and causes the death of a guy along the way.
08:59Finally, he takes a shot just before getting hit and manages to disintegrate him in front of everyone.
09:05Once he's dead, Kato goes to confront him for having done everything alone, as he could have done it as a team and avoided the rookie boy's death.
09:12Even so, they realize they are not returned to the lobby and deduce that there is another alien roaming around.
09:19They confirm their theory when they see the rookie girl coming out agonizing from the temple.
09:24Kei, who was near a multi-armed Buddha, begins to be stabbed by it until Kato manages to drag him to another place.
09:31He tells Kei that he admired him when they were kids and that now it's his turn to protect him.
09:36Standing in front of the Buddha, they hear it say that it is attacking them in revenge for killing its alien friends.
09:42Kishimoto shoots from another place and causes the statue to become mega-furious and attack them with twice the rage.
09:50Kato tries to confront it with a super sword, but despite putting up a good fight, he doesn't manage to leave a single scratch on it.
09:57Kishimoto gets between her and him, receiving many stabs in her place, and uses her last words to tell him that he has to defeat that thing so she can return to her brother.
10:09That's how he ends up facing the most enraged Buddha ever.
10:13But despite putting up a good fight again, the Buddha gets his way and stabs Kato with his hundreds of swords.
10:20He tells them he's going to destroy them all for attacking first.
10:24He stands up and activates the super suit to fight back and reach a weapon that was nearby.
10:30As he destroys the sword used for defense, he drops a small statue that slowly grows into the final boss.
10:37Even so, this doesn't stop our friend Kei, who, fearless, climbs up the statue's arm, firing shot after shot until he becomes the winner.
10:46But don't be alarmed, because from the inside, Kei manages to use the weapon to shoot directly at its head.
10:53This way, the statue is definitively destroyed, and Kei goes to Kato to keep him alive until the Gants takes them back to the lobby.
11:02Unfortunately, once they return to that room, the Gants gives 13 points to Kei and tells them that, aside from Kishimoto, Kato also died.
11:11On a new day, while talking with Tae, they see a child drop his hat onto the train tracks, so Kei goes down to the tracks to hand it back.
11:19Shortly after, a train approaches at full speed, and he almost lets himself get hit by it until he hears Tae's screams.
11:27After helping him get out of there, she tells him that she's in love with him, and please that he doesn't think about killing himself again.
11:34Finally, we see that Kato's little brother is still waiting for him, that Kei visits him from time to time, and that he now leads the others so that everyone can survive by working as a team.
