00:01:20We really are in the jungle and it's so isolated.
00:01:23A home to an array of fierce creatures.
00:01:26There's a lot of foreign animals that I'm not used to.
00:01:28Wildlife, gigantic poisonous ants, snakes, bats, monkeys.
00:01:33And the oppressive heat of the dry season.
00:01:41It's hot.

00:01:43So we'll see how I deal with that.

00:03:53We saw Kiwis play the game for the first time last year.
00:03:58They had their way of doing things, but something tells me you guys are going to go about it a little differently.
00:04:07Looking around at the other contestants, they're all very, very young.
00:04:11A lot of them look very, very physically fit.
00:04:14They look like Greek gods.
00:04:17So it's going to be a very tough competition.
00:04:20I do know one other contestant, which is bloody amazing.
00:04:28He's actually one of my best mates in high school.
00:04:32Me and Dave were really good friends at high school.
00:04:34We played rugby together.
00:04:35They used to stay at his house.
00:04:37I knew his parents quite well.
00:04:38You had to see his face on the boat on Survivor.
00:04:42I don't know how that happened.
00:04:44We've just been playing our relationship down a little bit without a contestant,
00:04:49because I can see how people would think that we're a threat.
00:04:53Some headlines for you.

00:06:28In round two, you swim out to that pontoon to a number of boxes tied shut.
00:06:34In those boxes are just three bags of numbered tiles.
00:06:39You snaffle one of those bags, you're moving on to the final round.
00:06:43The remaining three contestants then swim back to shore with both of their bags to these puzzle tables.
00:06:51The first person to assemble their numbers in order wins reward.

00:24:17My plan is to just come across as the nerdy, super fan mum who's just like, come on Survivor,

00:24:27I'm actually going to say, like, I just want my family to be proud of me, which is crap.
