00:30The Everglades in itself is just a very sacred area and the habitat here needs to be preserved
00:56and taken care of.
00:58And then we have the natives here that are on this land, that protect this land and take
01:03care of this land.
01:05So there's that factor in itself.
01:07And then obviously what they're trying to do here with Alligator Alcatraz is horrendous
01:12and just really not acceptable.
01:16I'm hoping that today we can follow the natives' lead and try and bless the land and protect
01:23the land and do what we can and then thereby protect the people because first of all, no
01:30human is illegal.
01:37And it's just very unfortunate that this is being put through with no laws being obeyed.
01:42This is almost like we're living in a foreign country.
01:49They didn't do any environmental impacts.
01:50They didn't do anything about the housing, whether it's going to be safe.
01:55They're leaving these people out in the middle of hurricane season.
02:02This is just absolutely ridiculous.
02:03You got blood on your hands, buddy.
02:09You got blood on your hands, buddy.
02:22Huh?
02:23You got blood on your hands, buddy?
02:30I guess it's our responsibility to keep that fight going.
02:57Everything about us is in the Everglades from the wildlife, food source, you know, medicinal uses, everything.
03:09Our lives depend on this Everglades.
03:13And, you know, bringing this facility here is disrupting everything.
03:20From A to Z, the ants all the way to, you know, to us.
03:30Advocating for the Everglades and the environment is advocating for all of us.
03:55Because we are for the Earth. We are of the Earth.
04:00Let's be safe.
04:06Development out here was shut down.
04:08That's why we don't have a full functioning airport.
04:11Because this would be suburbia if it wasn't shut down.
04:14This is just their way of opening the door to develop out here.
04:18Because they always are looking for ways to develop in our natural spaces.
04:22This is just one of their reasons to get into the Everglades.
04:26And somebody's going to have another brainchild of an idea.
04:29Oh, well, let's do this. Let's do that.
04:30Because right now they're building a mini city out there.
04:33What's up there?
04:35What's up there?
04:36What's up there?
04:37What's up there?
04:38I know, what's up there?
04:39That's why I think it's like you want to.
04:40Oh, well, it's an old baby.
04:41I know some old baby.
04:42I know some old baby.
04:43Alright, man.
04:44I know some old baby.
04:45I know some old baby.
04:46I'm trying to get into the spring.
04:57I know some old baby.
04:58But, I know, some old baby.
