Transcript
00:00Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down art picks for the most marvelous MCU fights.
00:10We won't be including any large-scale battles.
00:13While we'll limit ourselves to one entry per film or TV show season, there's no limit
00:17on spoilers.
00:18A grateful universe.
00:21Born out of blood.
00:22They'll never know it.
00:2530.
00:26Vision vs. White Vision
00:28Reality and fantasy clash in this series finale as Agatha Harkness shatters the sitcom illusion
00:33Wanda developed for herself.
00:35While the two witches swap spells in the sky, the vision that Wanda created meets his match
00:39in White Vision.
00:40Why are you doing this?
00:43My programming directive is to destroy the vision.
00:46Wiping each other across the pavement and blasting beans from their foreheads, it's clear that
00:50the two visions are equally matched physically.
00:53The confrontation boils down to a battle of wits, which appropriately takes place in a library.
00:58Using philosophy, the two debate who the true vision is.
01:01But certainly you are the true vision for you believe yourself to be.
01:05That was once the case.
01:08But upon meeting you, I have been disabused of that notion.
01:12White Vision is the original, but Hex's vision has memories, which he shares with his opponent.
01:17Fittingly enough, one vision manages to neutralize the conflict by sharing a vision with the other
01:22vision.
01:23The Ancient One vs. Kaecilius, Doctor Strange
01:27The original Doctor Strange is one of the most visually underrated MCU movies.
01:31The kaleidoscope-esque mirror dimension provides the backdrop for this inventive set piece.
01:36The evil Kaecilius warps New York into a constantly changing labyrinth that Strange and Mordo can
01:40only outmaneuver for so long.
01:43This was a mistake.
01:44Before Kaecilius can put a shard through Strange, the Ancient One intervenes.
01:48The environment becomes a weapon as the teacher faces her former student and his followers.
01:52Sorcerer Supreme holds her own in a three against one match.
01:55Kaecilius is willing to sacrifice one of his own though, literally stabbing a zealot in the back to pierce his opponent.
02:01Getting pushed through a portal, the Ancient One falls to her doom.
02:04But another sorcerer is waiting in the wings.
02:06You have such a capacity for goodness.
02:09You always excelled, but not because you craved success, but because of your fear of failure.
02:15It's what made me a great doctor.
02:18It's precisely what kept you from greatness.
02:2128.
02:22Monsters Unleashed, Werewolf by Night
02:23Draped in black and white cinematography, this one-off special commits to being a classic creature feature while still feeling like an MCU project.
02:31Jack Russell infiltrates Bloodstone Manor under the guise of a hunter.
02:35You shall go first.
02:37The others will follow.
02:42Upon being exposed as a werewolf, he becomes the hunted.
02:46The roles are reversed again once the beast is summoned.
02:49Rather than go after Elsa, the wolf shows that it can't be so easily controlled or capable.
02:53The man in the back of the cage, attacking Verusa Bloodstone and her guards.
02:55Elsa also holds her own, delivering an especially brutal fatality that probably would have resulted in a TV MA rating if this were all in color.
03:03Equally disturbing is Verusa's fate.
03:05Before she can blow Elsa away, Man-Thing, AKA Ted, drops in, sending Verusa to join her late monster hunting husband.
03:2027.
03:22Frank Castle vs. Billy Russo
03:25The Punisher
03:26Ever since losing his family, Frank Castle's life has been an endless cycle of grief and bloodshed.
03:31It's poetically tragic that this pivotal showdown occurs at a carousel, the same one where Castle's world shattered.
03:37Yeah.
03:39You were out there, Frankie.
03:40Yeah.
03:41Of course you were.
03:42They're bleeding out.
03:43Remind me how it goes again.
03:44Tick tock, tick tock, right?
03:45Making things even more personal, Castle's target is Billy Russo, his former best friend.
03:50Russo didn't pull the trigger, but Castle's family might still be alive.
03:55If not for him.
03:56Dina Madani distracts Russo long enough for Castle to level the playing field.
04:00While neither has a gun, their fists alone are instruments of destruction.
04:03Although Russo has the upper hand with the knife, Castle turns the carousel into a weapon.
04:05Rather than end it there, Castle punishes Russo by making him take a long look in the mirror.
04:35against the underwater Telecon Society.
04:38At the center is a one-on-one fight
04:39between Teleconil King Namor and Shuri,
04:41who has finally embraced the Black Panther mantle.
04:44Pretty sad.
04:45No, I am the Black Panther,
04:48and I'm here for retribution.
04:50Shuri isn't just fighting for her home.
04:52She's driven by vengeance,
04:53holding Namor responsible for her mother's death.
04:55Despite this, the audience understands the history
04:58of oppression that drove Namor to this point.
05:00We can empathize with both parties
05:01as they scratch and stab each other by the shore.
05:03Namor declares victory too early,
05:05allowing Shuri to deliver the final blow.
05:08As tempted as she is to take revenge,
05:09the memory of her mother motivates Shuri to build a bridge
05:12rather than leave another kingdom without a ruler.
05:15Yield, and your people will live.
05:23Vengeance has consumed us.
05:26We cannot let it consume our people.
05:28Number 25, Enemies Turned Teammates, Thunderbolts.
05:32What better way to tie up any loose ends
05:34than by having those ends tie each other up?
05:37Valentina Allegra de Fontaine enlists Yelena Belova
05:40to assassinate fellow mercenary Ava Star, aka Ghost.
05:43Yelena is caught off guard with the arrival of John Walker,
05:46who has been sent to put a bullet in her.
05:49There you are.
05:50Now what?
05:51Walker is just as perplexed
05:53when his opponent switches to Antonia Dreykov's Taskmaster,
05:56who targets him.
05:57Bringing things full circle,
05:58Ghost is tasked with taking out Taskmaster, proving successful.
06:02While that solves one of Valentina's problems,
06:04the others slowly piece together what's happening
06:06while fighting for their lives.
06:07The enemies thus join forces,
06:09at first to escape,
06:10and later to stop someone else they met in the vault, Bob.
06:14Who are you?
06:15I'm Bob, I told you.
06:17I'm, uh, yeah, Bob.
06:19Jesus Christ, stop saying Bob.
06:21Who sent you, Bob?
06:22Nobody, why would I be sent?
06:25Were you all, you were all sent?
06:26Number 24, Daredevil vs. Bullseye,
06:29Daredevil Born Again.
06:30Tonally, Daredevil Born Again picks up right where it's gritty predecessor left off.
06:34Dark times, dark times indeed.
06:37These Hell's Kitchen nostalgias running pretty thin with you guys,
06:40you realize that, right?
06:41Nostalgia, reverence for the past, yet hope for the future.
06:45Yet, this continuation is largely about change,
06:47which is instigated with the slaying of Foggy Nelson.
06:50As Karen tends to her bleeding friend,
06:52Matt Murdock pursues Benjamin Poindexter.
06:54Their barroom bra is taken up the stairway to the roof, where Murdock hears Foggy take his dying breath.
07:00A part of Murdock also dies that night.
07:02Why?
07:03Why?
07:04The part that isn't afraid to kill, throwing Poindexter to the street.
07:07Although the fall fails to finish Poindexter,
07:09that doesn't mean Daredevil wasn't ready to commit the deadliest sin.
07:12Murdock is prepared to let his alter ego die with Foggy,
07:15but New York will need Daredevil again as more enemies rise from the ashes.
07:20Number 23, Spider-Man vs. Mysterio, Spider-Man Far From Home.
07:23A master of deception in more ways than one,
07:26Quentin Beck is a foe who knows how to get inside Peter Parker's head.
07:29Peter isn't the only one questioning reality,
07:31as the audience also wonders how much of this mind-bending battle is purely an illusion.
07:35I know this isn't real.
07:37Do you, though?
07:38No!
07:39While the comic book influence has always been apparent in the MCU,
07:42few action sequences embrace their roots like this one,
07:45as the visuals pop out of the screen like panels on a page.
07:48We guess that makes Mysterio the artist,
07:51painting Spider-Man into an elaborate nightmare-fueled web.
07:54Deep down, you know I'm right.
07:57Adding to the internal struggle,
07:59Peter confronts multiple versions of himself before facing Mysterio directly.
08:03Even then, Mysterio is just an illusion.
08:05Or is he?
08:06He is.
08:07But so is Nick Fury.
08:08Number 22, Hulk vs. Abomination, The Incredible Hulk.
08:11While it was neat seeing Sam Wilson duke it out with Red Hulk,
08:15it would have been even cooler if Bruce Banner's Hulk joined that fight.
08:18Of course, if you want to see the Hulk throw down with another creature that rivals his strength,
08:22look no further than The Abomination.
08:24The Hulk!
08:26The Hulk!
08:27The Hulk!
08:28The Hulk!
08:29The Hulk!
08:30The Hulk!
08:31The Hulk!
08:32The Hulk!
08:33The Hulk!
08:34The Hulk!
08:35The Hulk!
08:36The Hulk!
08:37The Hulk!
08:38The Hulk!
08:39With Harlem serving as the backdrop, Bruce answers Emil Blansky's request for a real
08:44fight.
08:45The Hulk will require more than his own hands to bring the Abomination down, fashioning
08:48a pair of boxing gloves with a couple of cop cars.
08:51Speaking of vehicles, a helicopter is thrown in for good measure.
08:54The Hulk ultimately overpowers the Abomination with chains, although beauty tames the beast
08:59before more blood can be spilled.
09:01The Hulk!
09:02The Hulk!
09:0321.
09:04Carbrawl.
09:05Deadpool and Wolverine.
09:06As satisfying as it is when they fight side by side, watching Deadpool and Wolverine
09:10butt heads is equally entertaining, not to mention hilarious.
09:14Tensions boil over due to a lie or an educated wish.
09:17They call me the Merc with the mouth. They don't call me Truthful Timmy, the blowjob queen of Saskatoon.
09:24Whatever you call it, the two basically invincible mutants turn a 2011 Honda Odyssey into an arena.
09:30The space may be limited, but there's plenty of room to trade punches, pricks, and profanities.
09:34There's also a radio putting the vocals of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John to effective use.
09:39Throwing each other into uncomfortable positions, they blow the roof off, and we're just going to say it.
09:47The fight is coated in sexual tension, right? It's Deadpool, so that's got to be intentional.
09:52Number 20, Iron Man vs. Obadiah Stain, Iron Man
09:55With how far and fast the MCU has expanded, it can be easy to forget its roots and the fact that in its very first film, it offered up this excellent final fight.
10:08Obadiah Stain, Tony Stark's former mentor, essentially goes mad with power after developing his own mammoth version of Tony's initial Iron Man suit.
10:16Outgunned and running low on power, Tony uses his intelligence and experience with the suit's shortcomings to gain advantages on Stain,
10:23all while trying to protect civilians from getting killed.
10:25Filled with everything from vehicles being used as melee weapons to the now seemingly mandatory sky beam,
10:31Iron Man's fight against Iron Monger is a truly great one.
10:38Number 19, Peggy and Jarvis vs. SSR, Agent Carter
10:48Procedure 791. Isolate the suspect and remove civilians from harm before attempting arrest.
10:53While stopping for a bite to eat, Agent Peggy Carter and Edwin Jarvis are surprised by several Strategic Scientific Reserve agents
11:00who believe them to be helping America's enemies.
11:02Carter dispatches the agents with her excellent and characteristic skill,
11:05while Jarvis holds off their back up at the doors.
11:08Yes, it's a good day.
11:10How could anything be wrong?
11:12A good day from morning to night.
11:16I can't hold it forever!
11:17Not to underplay Jarvis' handiwork, he does get a good hit or two in by the end of it.
11:22The fight utilizes its environment well and is set to the song It's a Good Day by Peggy Lee,
11:26making for a light and breezy scuffle that's a short but sweet treat to watch.
11:30Number 18, Black Widow Hallway Fight, Iron Man 2
11:36Pursuing Ivan Vanko, aka Whiplash, at a Hammer facility,
11:43Black Widow, accompanied by Tony Stark's driver Happy Hogan,
11:46fights her way through a security team.
11:48Romanoff makes efficient work of a dozen men using gadgets and quick, unorthodox moves
11:52like her signature scissor flip, which is contrasted nicely with Happy,
11:56who struggles to beat even one guy.
12:04Although Black Widow's introductory fight in the Avengers against Russian thugs
12:08was also quite well done, we ultimately decided on this one,
12:11both due to its greater length and its impact on establishing her fighting style.
12:15It was just a warm-up for many fantastic scraps to come.
12:18Number 17, Ant-Man vs. Yellow Jacket, Ant-Man
12:24I'm gonna disintegrate you!
12:27Plain disintegration by the cure.
12:29When it comes to great fight scenes, size doesn't matter.
12:32Scott Lang first confronts Darren Cross in a helicopter.
12:35Their miniaturizing battle leads them to the ground
12:37and eventually to the toy-filled bedroom of Cassie Lang.
12:40With his daughter in danger, Scott does his best to protect her
12:43while keeping Cross on his toes with everything in the room.
12:45But it isn't all small stakes.
12:47During the battle, ordinary objects are enlarged to enormous size.
12:51The contrast of big and small scenery
12:53made this fight feel unique among the rest of the MCU's brawls.
12:56And Scott going subatomic to defeat his foe
12:59helps set up future plots while making for an intense and dramatic finish.
13:12Number 16, Melinda May vs. Agent 33, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
13:16I won't go down easy.
13:18That makes two of us.
13:20This supremely underrated show has a ton of great fights.
13:23But out of all of them,
13:25Agent Melinda May's fight with Agent 33 still sticks out in our minds.
13:28After escaping captivity,
13:30the shooed agent confronts a villain
13:31who's using a holographic disguise to look like the heroine.
13:34Their brutal fight is hilariously set in a fancy hotel room.
13:38And since the agent and her brainwashed doppelganger
13:40are a solid challenge for each other,
13:42the winner isn't immediately clear.
13:43Although 33 arms herself with knives,
13:46May still manages to take her down.
13:48The mirror match is executed wonderfully
13:50and features a final shocking attack from the heroine.
13:52The best part about killing you
13:54is that I won't have to be you anymore.
13:56If you were really me,
13:58you wouldn't talk so much.
14:02Double the Ming-Na win is never a bad thing.
14:05Number 15, Thor vs. Iron Man and Captain America, The Avengers.
14:09You listen well, brother.
14:10I'm listening.
14:13After Iron Man and Captain America have captured Loki,
14:16Thor shows up and abducts him,
14:18keen on having Loki face his own people's justice.
14:21However, Iron Man goes after him,
14:23and the two hot-headed guys clash in a fantastic fight
14:26that utilizes their respective abilities
14:27in fun and creative ways.
14:33Captain America intervenes to put an end to the conflict
14:35and manages to do so while dramatically flattening a chunk of the force around them in the process.
14:40Full of humor and events of choreography,
14:42this fight is just the first of the MCU's many hero vs. hero fights to make our list.
14:47Number 14, The Guardians vs. High Evolutionary Guards, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
15:00New game plan, we get the hell out of here now.
15:03There are thousands of creatures on the ship.
15:05Many of them are children.
15:06We need to be good, YouTube.
15:08Huh?
15:09It means friends.
15:10If you're looking for the perfect combination of music and action,
15:13look no further than this threequel scene.
15:15Shortly after the Guardians reassemble,
15:17the team risks everything to save innocent lives on the High Evolutionary ship.
15:21Their clash with the villain's guards is brilliantly underscored
15:24by the Beastie Boys' No Sleep Till Brooklyn.
15:27No Sleep Till Brooklyn!
15:31Instead of traditional cuts,
15:32the camera appears to fluidly move between the Guardians.
15:35This makes it feel like the action never stops.
15:37The sequence also gives each hero a chance to shine and show off their skills.
15:42While it is a brief scene,
15:43the sheer style on display here more than makes up for the short run time.
15:47Number 13, Scarlet Witch vs. The Illuminati,
15:50Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
15:52Villains defeating the heroes is disheartening.
15:54But straight up killing them?
15:55Well, that's just terrifying.
15:57After Wanda Maximoff possessed a version of herself in another universe,
16:01she stops at nothing to get her hands on the multiverse-hopping America Chavez.
16:05When the heroic Illuminati Alliance stands in her way,
16:08she decides to remove them as an obstacle.
16:10I have children of my own. I understand your pain.
16:13Is their mother still alive?
16:17Yes.
16:18Good. There will be someone left to raise them.
16:22The Scarlet Witch kills this Earth's mightiest heroes in increasingly grisly ways.
16:26Although the last one standing put up more of a fight,
16:30Wanda is far too powerful for any of them to handle.
16:32She proves to be a frightening opponent for these newly introduced heroes.
16:36Their brief battle is one we often relive in both our memories and our nightmares.
16:40They're not coming back.
16:42And you just cast your vote now to kill your friends.
16:45Number 12, Punisher vs. Cellblock, Daredevil.
16:48After this, you and me, we're done.
16:50Yes, we're done.
16:51After the Kingpin puts him up to killing a mutual enemy,
16:58Frank Castle, aka The Punisher,
16:59finds himself locked in a cellblock with a dozen criminals,
17:02which is just what the bald crime lord wanted.
17:05The group of inmates are all armed with a variety of shivs and improvised weapons,
17:09but Castle manages to turn these tools against his enemies.
17:12The fight is easily one of the most violent in the whole MCU,
17:15and it really proves that while The Punisher may be known for his deadliness with guns,
17:19he's just as lethal on his own.
17:21But I find it refreshing.
17:24Number 11, Star-Lord vs. Ego, Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 2.
17:28Since Peter Quill can be quite a goober,
17:30no one was expecting for him to briefly become one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy.
17:34Star-Lord was able to use his newly awakened celestial powers to keep up with his bad dad, Ego.
17:40You shouldn't have killed my mom and squished my Walkman.
17:46While Peter's friends enacted a plan to kill Peter's monstrous father,
17:50the hero held down the fort.
17:52It was fun to watch the dad and son rocket around the core of Ego's rocky body
17:56by using their fist and the environment in their titanic clash.
17:59The Pac-Man shout-out was particularly fun.
18:02Although a bomb ultimately put an end to Ego,
18:04they wouldn't have had a chance if Star-Lord didn't put his celestial powers on the line.
18:08If you kill me, you'll be just like everybody else.
18:14What's so wrong with that?
18:16No!
18:17Number 10, Hulk vs. Thor, Thor Ragnarok.
18:19Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Lord of Thunder.
18:24Easily among the two heaviest hitters among the Avengers,
18:26Thor and Hulk have clashed several times, notably in the first Avengers film.
18:30But their fight in Thor Ragnarok was truly next level.
18:33You're incredible!
18:35Hulk!
18:39Hulk!
18:41Hulk!
18:43Yes!
18:45Forced to do battle in an arena, Thor is at first happy to see the Hulk,
18:49but the green guy is more interested in fighting.
18:51Both combatants get in some big hits,
18:53and the use of weapons adds a different dynamic to Hulk's fighting style.
18:57Hulk!
18:57Hulk!
18:58Hulk!
18:58Hulk!
18:59Hulk!
18:59Hulk!
18:59Hulk!
18:59Hulk!
19:00Hulk!
19:00Hulk!
19:00Hulk!
19:01Hulk!
19:01Hulk!
19:02Hulk!

19:05Hulk!
19:06Hulk!
19:07Hulk!
19:07Hulk!
19:08Hulk!
19:08τουjesun z
19:28Used to stun him rather than see the Hulk lose, too bad.
19:30Had it been allowed to play out to the end, this might have ranked even higher!
19:32Number 9.
19:33T'Challa vs. Killmonger Round 1.
19:33Black Panther.
19:34were battled with nothing but their own strength
19:36and traditional weaponry.
19:37While T'Challa gives a good account of himself,
19:40Killmonger's gradual cuts make it clear
19:42that the killer is more skilled.
19:43Even an interruption by Zuri isn't enough
19:46to save Black Panther from a crushing loss.
19:48Although the hero may lose the fight,
19:49the evocative setting, charge emotions,
19:52and the fact that every slash cuts deep
19:54made this duel unforgettable.
19:56Nah, I'm your king.
19:59We have to go now.
20:01Number eight, Hulk versus Hulkbuster,
20:02Avengers Age of Voltron.
20:04You're Bruce Banner.
20:05Right, right, right, don't mention Puny Banner.
20:07Speaking of the Hulk, our current favorite brawl
20:10featuring the incredible Avenger is this one.
20:12After becoming entranced by Scarlet Witch,
20:15the Hulk goes wild rampaging through a city.
20:17Iron Man calls down a package from a satellite,
20:19which turns out to be a set of armor designed
20:21with the Hulk in mind, which he uses to battle
20:23the green rage monster through the streets and buildings.
20:30The fight is chock full of cool tech, funny moments,
20:32and some of the biggest impacts in any fight on our list,
20:35like the climactic destruction of an entire building.
20:44Number seven, Shang-Chi versus Wenwu.
20:46Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
20:49When the misguided Mandarin entrusts an evil force
20:51to bring his wife back to life,
20:53his son tries to knock some sense back into him.
20:55Unfortunately, Shang-Chi's skills and staff can't match
20:59his father Wenwu's powerful rings.
21:01Their tightly choreographed and thrilling fights
21:03seem to be over when the hero got knocked into a lake.
21:05But round two truly begins after Shang-Chi
21:08gets a lift from a dragon.
21:10Get out of my way, boy.
21:15Now.
21:16Not only is the fighting incredible,
21:17but seeing the hero use both his mom's techniques
21:20and his father's rings was poetic.
21:21The fact that Wenwu and Shang-Chi used the rings creatively
21:25was icing on the cake.
21:26And while this martial arts movie is full
21:28of great action sequences,
21:29this generational battle was the most satisfying.
21:32She's calling to me.
21:37I wish that were true.
21:39Number six, The Hallway Fight, Daredevil.
21:45Matt Murdock, still in the early days
21:47of his vigilante career,
21:48goes to rescue a kidnapped boy from a group of criminals.
21:51The camera follows the action along a hallway
21:53in one continuous shot as the fledgling Daredevil faces
21:56a number of adversaries.
21:57The way in which this action moves in and out of rooms
22:00makes for a particularly dynamic sequence.
22:09The choreography is intense,
22:11with characters getting winded or recovering
22:13to come back for more,
22:14making the scene reminiscent of a similar hallway battle
22:16from the film Oldboy.
22:18Overall, this fight is arguably the greediest
22:20and most realistic fight in the MCU.
22:27Number five, Iron Man, Thor,
22:28and Captain America vs. Thanos, Avengers Endgame.
22:31You could not live with your own failure.
22:36Where did that bring you?
22:41Back to me.
22:42The big three finally reunited against a common foe.
22:45When a past version of Thanos arrives in the present,
22:47Iron Man, Thor, and Cap face him
22:49in the wreckage of their headquarters.
22:50Individually, each Avenger gives Thanos a challenge,
22:54and their team-up attacks are incredible and flashy.
22:56Unfortunately, Thanos himself is an absolutely
22:59relentless warrior throughout the entire fight.
23:01After Thor and Iron Man are knocked down,
23:03Cap had to go one-on-one with the Mad Titan,
23:06but that fortunately led to the unprecedented
23:08and hype scene where Cap picked up Mjolnir.
23:15I knew it.
23:18Did we expect a formerly skinny kid from Brooklyn
23:21standing up to a galactic conqueror?
23:23No, but neither that fact nor this battle
23:25will ever get old.
23:26Number four, Spider-Man vs. Their Villains,
23:29Spider-Man No Way Home.
23:30All right, let's do this.
23:31Let's go.
23:32What's better than Spider-Man fighting Doctor Strange?
23:41How about three times the Spider-Man fighting villains
23:43at the Statue of Liberty?
23:44Although the trio of Peter Parkers decide to cure a group
23:47of super-powered foes, the antagonists aren't that willing
23:50to accept help.
23:51The resulting melee is full of great banter and callbacks.
23:54Additionally, the web-slinging action and the unique locale
23:57made for a thrilling fight scene.
23:58Outside of the combat, the emotional moments really elevate the fight.
24:02Seeing Peter 3 rescue Mj brought tears to our eyes,
24:06and the final confrontation between Peter 1 and Green Goblin
24:09left us breathless to the end.
24:11You are the one that killed her.
24:14The elevator fight from this spy-themed Marvel film was extremely tempting to highlight.
24:27However, the second confrontation between Cap and the Winter Soldier arguably topped
24:31the close-quarters brawl.
24:33It starts when Hydra's brainwashed assassin attacks Cap, Black Widow, and the Falcon
24:37on the highway.
24:38Their battle soon spills onto a neighboring street below.
24:40From the fight in the car itself to the Winter Soldier stalking Black Widow, this fight's
24:44full of great thrill.
24:46But it all builds up to the quick flurry of blows between Cap and the Winter Soldier.
25:14The rapid-fire hand-to-hand combat is among the best in all of the MCU.
25:19And it's all underscored with the Winter Soldier's eerie, unnerving theme music
25:23before crescendoing with a wild reveal.
25:25Bucky?
25:26Who the hell is Bucky?
25:28Number two, Titan Fight, Avengers Infinity War.
25:33I think you'll find our will equal to yours.
25:39Our?
25:40It's fitting this fight takes place on Titan, since it's absolutely titanic.
25:44Most of the Guardians of the Galaxy and a few Avengers come together with the aim of defeating
25:49Thanos.
25:50While their initial salvo is effective, Star-Lord upsets the momentum.
25:53Fortunately, the fight restarts again when the remaining protagonists face off against an Infinity
25:58Stone power Thanos.
26:00Seeing the heroes keep up with cosmic level attacks made for exciting and epic conflict,
26:04Doctor Strange and Iron Man's individual duels with the Madman from Titan were especially
26:08fantastic.
26:09Despite not featuring a ton of combatants, the battle on Titan felt gigantic.

26:35Number one, Captain America and the Winter Soldier versus Iron Man, Captain America Civil
26:41War.
26:46After learning that Winter Soldier killed his parents, Iron Man goes after Bucky, forcing
26:49a conflicted Captain America to protect his childhood friend.
26:52Sure enough, all three of them wind up duking it out.
27:05While there's a ton of great moves and choreography, the real meat of this fight is the emotional
27:09turmoil at the heart of it, both for the characters and for the audience.
27:13It's heart-wrenching to see old wounds open up and close allies turn against each other.
27:17This isn't going to change what happened.
27:19I don't care.
27:21He killed my mom.
27:22We did consider choosing the incredibly varied and spectacle-filled airport fight from the
27:26same film.
27:27However, the trio's fight's high emotional stakes took it all the way to the top.
27:32I could do this all day.
