01:20and that's the thing though with Makhmoudov early on especially he goes guns blazing and as the fight

01:27progresses if you can withstand the early onslaught you're able to do some damage in yourself I don't

01:32know if Ricardo Brown is going to because that right hand landed flush Ricardo Brown's a smart thing

01:37holding there but he's not gonna be able to take too many though maybe more of those and Arslanbek Makhmoudov

01:43unloading he understands Ricardo Brown is hurt doing Ricardo Brown though he's never been in this type of

01:50fight but he's never suffered defeat as well so he's got a lot of pride of wanting to come back out of

01:56nowhere even when he's hurt but when you think about how this fight unfolds how it stacks up

02:01you got two really big strong guys that look across the ring and say here's a big strong slow guy that I

02:08can hit uh they both might be right and there's a massive right hand from Mark Landbeck Makhmoudov

02:13dropped Ricardo Brown to all fours that was going to happen to somebody early and it happened to

02:20Ricardo Brown he's on wobbly legs yeah and I don't know about letting this fight continue

02:26and Junior Padulo does the right thing Ricardo Brown is complaining now he's protesting now

02:34but again he's had 10 15 seconds to uh gather himself even as he walks to the corner he looks a

02:40little bit unsteady and if you cannot stand up straight I can't a referee cannot in good conscience

02:46send you back across the ring to face a guy who hits as hard as Arslanbek Makhmoudov does and the

02:51first show of sportsmanship all week between the two men who but look I think some people tuning in at

02:57home Morgan I know what you're saying but you're gonna have some followers here gonna look at that and

03:01say it's a premature stoppage yes now does that mean they're accurate I'm not saying they are but

03:06you're going to have some people who want to see more in the first round even though it might have

03:09just ended even bad or even worse position for Ricardo Brown some boxing fans think every stoppage is a

03:15premature stoppage until you carry that person out of there on the stretcher but look at this and you

03:20also have to keep in mind the two people we're talking about one of the hardest punchers in the division

03:25whatever you think Makhmoudov's shortcomings are overhand chopping right hand to the jaw and you

03:31see there's already a lump behind the ear of Ricardo Brown that was suffered earlier on in the first

03:36round and honestly the only thing that broke his fall was the rope that had happened in the middle of

03:39the ring he would have crashed face first to the canvas and there is no getting up and so you see

03:45that guy's wobbled and you have to take into account how hard Arslanbek Makhmoudov punches well

03:50especially Makhmoudov we know the first three rounds even against Cavail he started with success

03:55but Cavail was able to kind of withstand those early power shots and started digging deep to the body

03:59and turn it around and we see how much Cavail has had success since that fight and where Makhmoudov

04:04really now is in a position tonight he had to win Ricardo Brown had to really keep his hands up a

04:08little bit more he took too many chances I think trying to exchange early on here yeah when I talked to

04:12Ricardo Brown he said he had a plan he had he had a plan A and plan B yeah plan B plan A was the 12 gauge you know

04:19and he thought he was going to land that big punch but he said plan B was to take Makhmoudov deep and

04:24drown him because of what you just said if you can get him past the third round you have a chance

04:28he'll wear down those punches don't land with the same impact but first six minutes of any fight

04:34Arslanbek Makhmoudov is dangerous he's short on skill short on craft short on nuance but he does what

04:43he does he wants to come forward put those lion paws on you and he puts those paws on you man it is trouble

04:49and that's why he's going to continue to get opportunities because he's an exciting fighter

04:53but technically flawed but he has one mindset it is to go at an attack but we saw against highly

05:01technical fighters like Guido Villanello or at least more technical I should say maybe not highly

05:05that's where we'll have to see if he can improve enough to win those fights but the technical flaws

05:10are part of his appeal because that also makes him vulnerable so when he fights you know that

05:15somebody is going to get it you don't know exactly what it is it might be an explosive right hand

05:20like that it might be a boxing lesson just like Guido Villanello gave him a boxing lesson but you know

05:25somebody's going to get it often in spectacular fashion and look out of his 19 knockout wins 16 have
