New Delhi, June 27, 2025 (ANI): "... Four first-class experts gave us great insights... You will see our report in the next few weeks... We didn't discuss (the issue of Bangladeshis living in India). But we were told about a figure that the number of Bangladeshis coming to our country has lessened now," said Congress MP Dr Shashi Tharoor after the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs meeting to record evidence of experts and non-official witnesses in connection with the examination of the subject ‘Future of India-Bangladesh Relationship’.

00:00It was an excellent meeting. In fact, many members of the committee feel it's one of the best meetings we've had.
00:05We had four first-class experts, the former Foreign Secretary and National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon,
00:11Elephant General Sairdata Hasnain, Ambassador, who was also High Commissioner in Bangladesh, Reba Ganguly Das,
00:19and Professor Ramita Bhattu, four experts who gave us very good insights, excellent comments, excellent ideas.

00:55but the numbers are less. The people of Bangladesh have come to our country and are less.
