00:00The Philippines and the United States have signed an agreement to develop the Subic-Clark-Manila-Batangas Railway

00:06aiming to boost trade and economic activity.

00:09The 155-kilometer railway will connect major ports including Subic Bay,

00:15helping east port congestion and decentralized logistics.

00:19Funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the project includes legal, institutional, and technical planning.

00:26It may also serve passenger transport in the future and is seen as a step towards strengthening the Philippines and the U.S. alliance.
