Jay Ruiz stays as Communications acting secretary--Palace

Malacañang on June 27, 2025 says that Jay Ruiz remains to be the acting secretary of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) amid an alleged looming reorganization in the Palace's communications arm. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro issued the statement following reports that Dave Gomez, the communications director of Philip Morris International’s Philippine affiliate, is being considered to replace Ruiz as PCO chief.
