Two individuals were injured in a fire that destroyed nine wooden houses in Tatau, Sarawak early Friday (June 27) morning.

00:00Two individuals were injured in a fire that destroyed nine wooden houses in Tatao early
00:05Friday morning.
00:06The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 12.56 a.m. and dispatched
00:13a team of 11 personnel from the Tatao Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.
00:18A 26-year-old man sustained burns to his left arm and back, while a 27-year-old woman suffered
00:25burns on her left arm.
00:27The blaze also destroyed three motorcycles and ten nearby vehicles.
00:32Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding areas and brought
00:36it fully under control by 8.20 a.m.
00:39The cause of the fire and estimated losses are still under investigation.
