00:00Hidden beneath layers of rock and reinforced concrete, some of the world's most secretive
00:04military facilities lie buried deep underground. But even these fortresses aren't beyond reach.
00:10Enter the B-2 Spirit, a marvel of stealth engineering. And at its disposal, the most
00:16formidable payload in modern warfare, the GBU-57A-B massive ordnance penetrator, the Bunker Buster.
00:23At over 30,000 pounds and stretching more than 6 meters, the GBU-57 is the largest conventional
00:30bomb in the U.S. arsenal. It's engineered to punch through up to 60 feet of reinforced concrete or
00:35200 feet of soil. This isn't just an explosion, it's a subterranean assault. Equipped with GPS
00:41and inertial navigation, the bomb guides itself with pinpoint accuracy. Upon impact, its hardened
00:48steel casing allows it to burrow deep, punching through earth and concrete, before a delay
00:53fuse sets off the warhead, right inside the target. The only aircraft capable of delivering
00:59this beast is the B-2 Spirit. With its radar evading shape and global range, the B-2 can
01:05strike anywhere, often without ever being seen. Pilots fly high and at the perfect moment the
01:10Bunker Buster is released. From there, gravity takes over, accelerating the bomb to near supersonic
01:17speeds as it plunges towards its target. In June 2025, six GBU-57s were dropped on Iran's Fordow
01:25nuclear facility, buried deep within a mountain. B-2s, launched from Whiteman Air Force Base,
01:31executed the strike with breathtaking precision. The result? A shockwave that shattered reinforced
01:37structures from within, a feat no other weapon could achieve. As adversaries dig even deeper,
01:43technology advances. But for now, the B-2 and its Bunker Buster stand unmatched. A silent threat from
01:50the skies, capable of reaching the unreachable.
