01:00We're a part of this world.
01:10In a distant region of Ethelred's realm lies a small village known as Crowswood.
01:17The villagers are happily preparing to celebrate an event that happened a long time ago.
01:22These gentle people were free from an evil spell.
01:25This is where our story really begins.
01:30Sibylla, the bird woman, wanted Crowswood as a haven for herself and her evil winged creatures.
01:37With her red hypnotic gaze, she could enchant anything on two legs.
01:42At first, it looked as if the village was doomed.
01:47But then, Orlanth, Crowswood's wise old wizard, whose powers equaled Sibylla's, came to their defense.
01:56Orlanth knew the griffon stone at the tip of Sibylla's staff contained much of her power.
02:03Only a wizard's power could wrench that stone away from Sibylla and return it to the griffon, its rightful owner.
02:13With this done, Orlanth turned his attention to Sibylla.
02:18Using his last bit of energy, the old wizard banished her to a stone fortress where she must stay for the rest of her life.
02:27The people of Crowswood never forgot Orlanth's courage.
02:38Each year, they hold this festival in his honor.
02:42This is the best royal duty we've had in a long time.
02:45What more could we ask for?
02:47Master Dirk, I have a bad feeling about Crowswood.
02:56It must be your imagination.
03:03Sibylla has been impatiently waiting for a chance to escape her prison.
03:07But she needs the griffon stone.
03:10Where is that raven?
03:12Because the stone is protected by the fierce griffon, only a very brave and daring knight can retrieve it.
03:23So, the princess has finally arrived with Dirk the Daring.
03:31Then bring me the peasant girl Bronwyn.
03:35Princess Daphne's.
03:36Look at me.
03:37We'll use her to get rid of the princess and make Dirk do our bidding.
03:44Be off!
03:47And be quick!
03:58Hurry, tie my dress, Grandmother.
04:00I don't want to miss Princess Daphne's arrival.
04:03How do I look, Father?
04:08You look pretty enough to be Princess Daphne.
04:13Oh, if only I were a princess.
04:17I can't wait to see what she looks like.
04:19My comb!
04:35Give that back, you nasty bird!
04:37My plan is working.
04:54Give me back my comb!
04:59Oh!
05:00Sibylla!
05:02You will help me escape!
05:05No!
05:06No, I can't!
05:08Set!
05:09I will make Sir Dirk get the griffon stone.
05:14I will make Sir Dirk get the griffon stone and help Sibylla escape.
05:21Now, with this brooch, you are under my spell.
05:25And nothing can break disenchantment.
05:28Ah, the simple life.
05:39I wonder what it would be like to live here.
05:48It's amazing!
05:50My name's Bronwyn, Your Highness.
05:51When Dirk and Timothy see you, they won't believe it.
05:56I bet they can't tell us apart.
05:58Hmm, I have an idea.
06:01I could help you play a little joke on Sir Dirk.
06:04Yes, we'll trade places and see if he notices.
06:07It would be fun, wouldn't it?
06:09Oh, I can't wait to see Dirk's face!
06:13Princess Daphne!
06:14Princess Daphne, where are you?
06:17I just knew there'd be an adventure waiting for me in Crow's Wood.
06:32Dirk's the best knight there ever was!
06:35Yes, best and bravest.
06:37A Princess Daphne?
06:39What is it, Squire?
06:40A Squire?
06:42Oh, never mind.
06:46Dirk is completely fooled!
06:48Bronwyn's really convincing!
06:51Bronwyn!
06:52Bronwyn!
06:54Daughter, it's time for you to come home now!
06:56Yes, Father!
06:57We'll see how long it takes Dirk to notice!
07:01What's the matter with Rosemary?
07:04Hey!
07:14Hey!
07:23Those creatures carried Rosemary away!
07:30We've got to get to the bottom of this!
07:32It's the Bill of the Bird Woman!
07:34I heard about her in the village!
07:36But she's in prison!
07:38How could that be?
07:39Let's find Rosemary!
07:40I'll tell you along the way!
07:42Lead the way!
07:43Let her go!
07:55Dirk, the daring is on his way!
07:57And nothing can spoil my plan now!
08:01There's no sign of Rosemary!
08:07We need the Griffin Stone, and we must hurry!
08:11Daphne, how will the stone help us find Rosemary?
08:14The birds were sent by Sibylla!
08:16I know it!
08:17And if we don't stop her, who will?
08:20Then we'll get the stone!
08:21If it is Sibylla, she must be stopped once and for all!
08:24Dirk doesn't know he's in danger!
08:26And he has no idea that Bronwyn's plan is a trick to free Sibylla!
08:31Well, Daphne, meanwhile, has troubles of a different kind!
08:36How about a little cooperation here?
08:42This is your princess speaking!
08:44I command you to put the milk in the bucket!
08:48Oh, I think it's time to find Bronwyn!
08:51I've had enough of the simple life!
08:58I know, Bertram!
08:59This is not our everyday quest!
09:01But we've got to stop Sibylla and find Rosemary!
09:04We're close to the Griffin Stone!
09:06I can feel it!
09:07Yeah, I can feel it, too!
09:09And it doesn't feel good!
09:14Don't these creatures ever give up?
09:18Sibylla's creatures won't give up
09:19until they have driven Dirk right to the Griffin Stone!
09:24There it is!
09:25The Griffin Stone!
09:26And there's the Griffin!
09:31Yes, I know, Bertram!
09:35We've got to do something about these birds!
09:39Dirk, get the stone!
09:40It's the only thing that will stop Sibylla's birds!
09:44Yeah!
09:44But what about them?
09:48Yes, we're definitely in trouble, Bert!
09:50Hurry!
09:51Get the stone!
09:53So, this is Dirk's dilemma.
09:55Dirk must get the stone, or so he believes.
09:58He not only has to find a way to snatch it away from the Griffin,
10:02but he has to get past those hungry reptiles!
10:06And no matter what,
10:08they have to get rid of those bird creatures!
10:10If you were in Dirk's boots,
10:12what would you do?
10:14Dirk could try to cross the pile on the backs of the reptiles,
10:42but Dirk could have chosen to swing across the pond!
10:59By swinging across the pond,
11:01Dirk could avoid the reptiles,
11:04but this would have been his fate!
11:05But Dirk had another idea!
11:16These reeds will help me breathe!
11:18Dirk!
11:18Dirk!
11:35Just a little farther!
11:56Mind if I ride along?
11:57Dirk!
12:00Oh, yeah!
12:08Dirk!
12:09Help!
12:14Stand back!
12:23The stone!
12:24Is it safe?
12:25As safe as a babe!
12:27The bird creatures are flying away!
12:29Isn't that weird?
12:32That's why we must get to her fortress!
12:35We will!
12:36With this stone,
12:37we can defeat Sibylla
12:38and get Rosemary back!
12:41Ah, Rosemary!
12:43At this moment,
12:44Daphne could use her trusty horse as well!
12:47You stubborn mule!
12:50Move!
12:51Wait till I find Granwin!
12:57Wait till I find Granwin!
12:57off
13:14the train!
13:15Watch out!
13:16Hold it to me!
13:22Theue
13:23Oh, this doesn't look good.
13:36Where's a brave knight when you need him?
13:41Rosemary!
13:49I'm so glad to see you.
13:51But where's Dirk? In trouble?
13:54I said.
13:55That's what I thought. Let's go!
13:58We've got to find Dirk before those winged creatures come back.
14:03Yes, I see Rosemary.
14:09I'm Princess Daphne. Please help me.
14:13My, my, princess is it.
14:16And I see you're wearing your finest clothes, Your Majesty.
14:20Please believe me, an evil raven and winged snakes have attacked me.
14:26I don't see no raven, or snakes either.
14:31What an imagination the girl's got.
14:34A princess, invisible birds, and flying snakes.
14:39We'd better do something.
14:50I should have done.
15:02Now, Rosemary!
15:03Rosemary!
15:03Uh-oh! They're still with us!
15:26A tunnel!
15:28We don't have much time!
15:35This is our only escape!
15:37Let's seal off this end!
15:55Now, to find Dirk!
16:17We can't stop now. We're so close to Sibylla's prison.
16:21T-Just a quick rest, Sir Dirk!
16:24Well...
16:25No, we have to hurry!
16:27Yeah, but, but...
16:28I said no! I'm the princess!
16:34It's time to teach Bronwyn who the real princess is!
16:39It's a gripping stone!
16:46Oh, no, you don't!
16:48I want that stone!
16:50No!
16:50No!
16:53Princess Daphne's in trouble!
16:57Give me that!
16:58No!
16:59Dirk!
16:59Help!
17:02Daphne!
17:03Daphne?
17:07Princess Daphne?
17:09No!
17:10That's Bronwyn!
17:11She's under Sibylla's spell!
17:14Then the gripping stone will free Sibylla instead of destroy her!
17:18Uh-oh!
17:20We'll catch her before she gets to Sibylla!
17:27Oh, no!
17:29Gone, indeed!
17:31Bronwyn had already arrived at Sibylla's prison!
17:34I'm finally free of this wretched prison!
17:41First, I shall destroy Crow's Wood!
17:45Now, we go!
17:58Oh!
17:58Oh!
17:58We must be close to Sibylla's prison!
18:07We may be closer than we think!
18:10Sibylla!
18:10She's heading towards Crow's Wood!
18:12Hurry, Bert!
18:20Soon you will all be under my control again!
18:24You won't get away with this, Sibylla!
18:26That's my daughter!
18:34Nothing can stop me now!
18:37Except me!
18:39Hand over the stone, Sibylla!
18:41Don't look into her eyes!
18:43She can control anything on two legs!
18:45Run!
18:48Find them!
18:49Get them!
18:58Dirk, what are we going to do?
19:00We've got to destroy the stone!
19:02Indeed, what could Dirk, too?
19:04With the raven and its army of winged creatures above him, and Sibylla's hypnotic red gaze in front of him, what would you have done?
19:13If Dirk had continued to battle the birds, this would have happened.
19:18A soaring experience for sure!
19:22Dirk could have chosen to attack the raven, whose magic controlled the winged creatures.
19:27This decision would have put Dirk in Sibylla's path.
19:39There was another way.
19:41Quick!
19:42I need a blindfold!
19:43Are you sure this is going to work?
19:48It's up to you, old friend.
19:50Dirk knew the only way to stop Sibylla and the raven was to destroy the griffon stone.
20:03You will not escape my gaze!
20:09What?
20:10This can't be!
20:11Your gaze only affects creatures on two legs, Sibylla.
20:15He's got four, and I can't see you!
20:21No!
20:27You did it, Dirk!
20:29Oh, well, thank you, Daphne.
20:33But I can't take all the credit.
20:38Thank you, Princess Daphne, Sir Dirk.
20:44Rosewood will forever be free, and my daughter is safe again.
20:47I'm very sorry.
20:50If it weren't for you, we would never have known about Sibylla.
20:55Daphne!
20:57We're ready to go home.
21:00I'm ready.
21:01Daphne?
21:02Daphne?
21:02Daphne's little masquerade did have a happy ending once Sibylla was defeated.
21:10Being a simple girl from Crow's Wood had its pleasures as well as its drawbacks.
21:15Daphne enjoyed just being herself the princess, most of all.
21:20Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, Daphne, D
