00:00The End
00:30The End
01:00In a distant time, long before the reign of King Æthelred, there lived a wonderful blacksmith at a place called Smithy's Knoll.
01:09The ancient sorcerers Dagda and Morrigu rewarded the Smithy for his brilliant work with a magic hammer that could turn ordinary metal to gold.
01:19And with magic fire that could give life to metal and stone. At first, the Smithy prized his magical gifts.
01:31But years passed, and he turned them toward evil.
01:37I have made the greatest weapons ever, he said. With them, I can become king.
01:47But the sorcerers Dagda and Morrigu had not given the magical gifts for evil purposes.
01:54Because he had become evil, the sorcerers turned the Smithy to bronze.
02:00Fated to forever keep watch over his magic weapons and armor, he could only be released and defeated by a noble knight.
02:09But even a good sorcerer can, in time, become evil.
02:17Many years later, the Smithy's tale had been forgotten.
02:22Although the poor king was certainly in need of a new suit of armor.
02:26What is the matter with this armor?
02:34It has been a long time since you've worn this armor, sire.
02:37And what is that supposed to mean?
02:40Nothing, your highness.
02:45One, three, three!
02:56Two, three, three, four!
03:00To the hog farm with you!
03:07I think father's unhappy.
03:15Well, what am I to do?
03:19I just don't understand.
03:22This suit of armor always fit before.
03:26It is a puzzle, Father.
03:31Uh, maybe it shrank.
03:35Oh, that's not the point!
03:38I'm supposed to go on a royal tour of the kingdom in two days!
03:43Oh, no! You need your fancy armor!
03:46We'll begin a quest for the finest armor in the land!
03:50We don't need a quest, Dirk. Just a blacksmith.
03:53Don't worry, Father. Sir Dirk and I will get you a new suit of armor.
04:06Well, thank you anyway.
04:08I surely be sorry, Your Highness.
04:10But armor such as that, well, could be a month at least.
04:17There's not a blacksmith in town who can make Father's armor in two days.
04:22Don't worry, Daphne. There's one more blacksmith we haven't tried.
04:36Oh, no, Your Highness. Couldn't make armor like that in less than a fortnight.
04:40Oh, if it can't be done, it can't be done.
04:43Thanks all the same.
04:44Oh, that was the last blacksmith in town, Dirk.
04:53Perhaps what you seek is not in this town.
04:56Don't be alarmed.
04:58I am Walker, and I only wish to help our king.
05:02Help?
05:03What kind of help?
05:05Indeed.
05:05I can help you find the greatest suit of armor ever made.
05:16I can lead you to it.
05:18But only a bold knight like you can gain possession of it for the king.
05:24Hmm.
05:24I am a bold knight.
05:27Oh, Dirk.
05:28Armor.
05:28I'll get my squire, and we'll be on our way, Walker.
05:42We can cross that valley before nightfall.
05:46Look sharp, Sir Dirk.
05:48There may be danger there.
05:49Whoa, Rosemary!
06:12Does the king have to have new armor?
06:22Of course he does.
06:24You're not making this easy, Tim.
06:47Hang on, Dirk.
06:48What happened?
07:11Walker, are you all right?
07:12Of course.
07:15Well done, Sir Dirk.
07:16Dirk, that other dragon just vanished.
07:20Hmm.
07:20I must have scared it off.
07:22Come.
07:22We have almost reached our destination.
07:29I've never seen anything like it.
07:34There is nothing like the Glass Castle.
07:38Once the home of Dagda and Moragoo.
07:41Who and who?
07:42Two ancient sorcerers.
07:45Masters of lore and magic.
07:47But the castle is empty.
07:49Dagda and Moragoo are gone.
07:52Let's go in for just a quick look, Dirk.
07:54Well, I...
07:55No.
07:56There is danger.
07:58The castle is guarded by the Kaelrog.
08:05Oh, it's beautiful.
08:09Attack.
08:11Quickly, Sir Dirk.
08:12Come on, you Kaelrog, curl up.
08:20Kaelrog, and your sword is useless.
08:23Only diamonds can harm it.
08:25Fresh out of diamonds.
08:27Dirk!
08:28Catch!
08:31A gift from Princess Daphne.
08:33There is our destination.
08:47Smithy's Gnoll.
08:48Inside is the armor we seek.
09:09Must be some suit of armor.
09:11Sir Dirk, you and I must go in alone.
09:14The Princess and Squire can keep watch here.
09:18You've, uh, been here before?
09:21A long time ago.
09:22But I remember the way.
09:31Hmm.
09:32Interesting.
09:33But that armor doesn't look very special.
09:36You'll see.
09:38What?
09:39Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:40Gone?
09:44Gone?
09:48Someone has been here.
09:53Any idea who?
09:56Too bad this statue can't tell us.
09:58Put the blade of your sword into the forge, Sir Dirk.
10:02What for?
10:03The fire is the lock.
10:04Your sword is the key to the mystery.
10:07Huh?
10:08Well, if you say so.
10:11Sure wish that armor was as good as I'd hoped.
10:14The king needs a really nice...
10:15Walker!
10:16What the...
10:19Smithy, speak.
10:21Where is the hammer?
10:29Walker, where are you going?
10:31I've been tricked.
10:33Tricked or not.
10:34Dirk had to think quickly.
10:36Should he try to fight all these magical weapons at once?
10:39Should he try to grab the armor and run?
10:41And what about the smithy?
10:43Could he hope to fight the ancient magical creature?
10:47If you were Dirk, what would you do?
10:56What did you decide?
10:57If Dirk had tried to duel with the magical weapons, this would have happened.
11:01And if Dirk had dodged those dangers, and attacked the smithy, this would have happened.
11:18Dirk, however, knew that the odds were too great.
11:21A smart knight knew when to retreat, so he could fight another day.
11:43Dirk, up here!
11:44Come on, Sir Dirk.
11:48I don't know what happened in there, but you'd better explain yourself.
11:52We're listening, Walker.
11:53I didn't trick you.
11:55The magic hammer was supposed to be there.
11:57It's been stolen.
11:59What magic hammer?
12:04It's the smithy!
12:05He's heading for that village!
12:13No!
12:13You can't defeat him without the magic hammer!
12:16What if we don't believe you?
12:20Disaster.
12:21Only one other person knows of the hammer.
12:24The old fisherman.
12:26He must have it.
12:28We can't go on believing him, Dirk.
12:31Look down there!
12:32We have no choice!
12:34We've come this far.
12:37Take us to the fisherman.
12:40There's something really weird about that guy.
12:56What's this?
13:00A swithy!
13:02Visitors!
13:02Strangers!
13:04Strangers!
13:04But the old one, I know him well.
13:10Throw me home, old boys.
13:13It's time to right an ancient wrong.
13:19Delay the old fisherman while I find the hammer.
13:24Better do it.
13:25What else could go wrong?
13:27You two stay here.
13:33He's up to something.
13:36Yes.
13:36And we're going to find out what it is.
13:41You don't know what you're doing.
13:43Let me go.
13:45Give me a good reason.
13:46Your companion seeks the magic hammer.
13:52Is that reason enough?
13:57You know about that?
13:58I know a lot.
13:59I know a lot.
14:00And it's time you learned a thing or two.
14:05Pretty strong for an old man.
14:07Yes.
14:09And so is that evil old man with you.
14:13I am Dagda.
14:15And he is Morrigou.
14:18The sorcerers?
14:19Oh, no!
14:22Daphne and Tim are in danger.
14:24Watch yourself, knight.
14:27Morrigou has turned evil.
14:29He wants the hammer so he can control the smithy.
14:32I'll give him the hammer, all right.
14:37The hammer's gone.
14:40The princess, Tim, they're gone, too.
14:43Daphne and Tim went after Morrigou.
14:53We must hurry.
14:55By the dragon's teeth.
14:57I won't lose this time.
15:00That sword is useless.
15:03We must get the magic hammer.
15:05Morrigou can only be defeated by his own magic.
15:08I still can't believe Bertram ran away like that.
15:13He'll be back with Sir Dirk.
15:16Look, it's Walker.
15:22Come on, Timothy.
15:25We'll teach that Walker to fool with us.
15:28Yeah, well, I do feel kind of foolish.
15:32The strange man had indeed fooled our heroes.
15:34Daphne and Timothy still don't know
15:38that the man they call Walker
15:39is really the ancient evil sorcerer, Morrigou.
15:47There he...
15:48Morrigou needed Dirk, a noble human knight,
15:53to bring the magical weapons back to life.
15:56Now he needs only the smithy's power.
15:59Smithy, human of old,
16:03now demon of bronze and gold.
16:07Return to me.
16:09Answer my call.
16:11With your power,
16:13I shall rule all.
16:16Think again, Walker.
16:19We've got no hammer.
16:22We do?
16:24Oh, yeah, we do.
16:26You are foolish.
16:28You are too late.
16:29The smithy comes to my call.
16:34Help!
16:35Somebody help!
16:39Return to me.
16:42To me.
16:49Wait in those bushes, Bertram.
16:51Remember, knight?
16:57I can do nothing.
16:59Morrigou must be defeated by his own magic.
17:02That seems fair.
17:05Give the hammer to me.
17:08It is my creation.
17:10Come and get your stupid hammer!
17:14May I have my hammer, please?
17:18Not while there's a breath left in my body.
17:22Don't say that.
17:24The smithy will be here soon.
17:27And Dirk the Dilling is already here.
17:30Dang-daw, you old fool.
17:33You always were good at name-calling, Morrigou.
17:38It's the end for you.
17:41The smithy comes.
17:42I have done all I can.
17:52You are on your own, Sir Dirk.
17:55Dirk is indeed on his own.
17:57Faced by the evil Morrigou on the one hand,
18:00and by the magical armor and weapons on the other.
18:04With the powerful beast, the smithy, closing in.
18:07What would you do?
18:08If Dirk simply attacked Morrigou,
18:10this would have happened.
18:11Your sword cannot harm me.
18:15Huh?
18:17Dirk couldn't fight Morrigou that way.
18:20He couldn't fight the smithy, not with his sword.
18:23But could he battle the magic weapons, like this?
18:33Oh, no!
18:35That was not the way, either.
18:37Dirk, however, remembered what Dag-daw has said.
18:42A sorcerer could only be defeated by his own magic.
18:47Come on, Morrigou.
18:49Make your attack.
18:52Dirk, look out!
19:02Defeated by his own magic.
19:03Dirk, the Heimer Morrigou used it to control the smithy.
19:15You learn quickly, Sir Dirk.
19:17He's the best there is.
19:19And boy, am I glad.
19:20Oh, Dirk, you did it!
19:36I wasn't worried for a minute.
19:39Look!
19:40The magic armor!
19:41Hmm, I guess the armor isn't magical anymore.
19:48Perhaps not, Sir Dirk.
19:49But it is still the finest armor ever made.
19:54And now, if you don't mind,
19:56this old sorcerer would like to return to his fishing.
20:02Sorcerers sure are funny people.
20:10Oh, I say!
20:12It is lovely!
20:15Where on earth did you get it?
20:18Well, we, uh...
20:20See, there was this old guy named Walker, and, uh...
20:23Oh, it's just something we dug up, Father.
20:26Well, it's perfect!
20:29Now I can go on my royal tour of the kingdom!
20:34Hmm, a bit big, sire.
20:36Perhaps we should have it cut down.
20:39Nonsense!
20:41I can just grow into it!
20:44And thus,
20:45did Dirk the Daring brave the ancient magic
20:48to make the smithy's haunted armor
20:51fit for a king!
20:53I can just grow into it!
20:55I can just grow into it!
20:56I can just grow into it!
20:57I can just grow into it!
20:58I can just grow into it!
20:59I can just grow into it!
21:00I can just grow into it!
21:01I can just grow into it!
21:02I can just grow into it!
21:03I can just grow into it!
21:04I can just grow into it!

21:09I can just grow into it!
21:10I can just grow into it!
21:11I can just grow into it!
21:12I can just grow into it!
21:13I can just grow into it!
21:14I can just grow into it!
21:15I can just grow into it!
21:16I can just grow into it!
21:17I can just grow into it!
