00:00We got big units today, honey. We're close to home. I'm excited, but I'm not happy about the
00:12weather. We're going to have some really cold, windy weather. Look, it's already raining. Let's
00:16just keep them moving, and they won't even realize they're cold. Well, I got the hot cocoa. I have
00:21enough for everyone. Thank you. I need to keep the virus as warm as possible. That way, they can bid
00:26and pay this lady. A cold bidder won't lift his hands out of his pockets. A cold bidder
00:32is not a bold bidder. Gosh, I love it, Dan. I just come up with them like that. You're ready
00:36for this cold weather. When storage units are abandoned, the treasures within are put up
00:51for auction. I got scored on this. I'm in the green. Look at this. Money, baby.
01:09I'm headed out to Banning. It is not close to my house. It is raining, and it is cold, and it is a
01:15long drive. Starting to question why I woke up at 4.30 a.m. to drive over four hours into the freezing
01:20cold and rain. I really need Banning to make this trek worth it. But it is close to Palm
01:25Springs, and they have a lot of beautiful, beautiful things in Palm Springs. A lot of
01:31rich old people, a lot of gays, and they always have good decorating sense, and that is what
01:38I'm looking for. I've got a lot of business right now. I'm running low. I need to find something
01:43good. I'm wishing myself luck. Crossing my fingers. Make it a good day, Banning.
01:52I'm here at last. Banning, California. This weather looks like it's saying go home. No. I can't hear
02:01you, weather. I can't hear you. Shoot. Weather don't scare me none. Matter of fact, it should be
02:06scared of me. That's right. I own you, weather. I went through snow. I went through hail. I went
02:14through wind. I went through rain. I went through flooding waters. I went on freeways where I never
02:19saw the white line for 50 miles. If I'm going to get cold and wet, I might as well get rich
02:24at the same time. Bad weather, good units, equal cha-ching. Let's go. Buckle up, buttercup.
02:32I can't believe how freaking cold it got. It looks like it's a thunderstorm, a monsoon.
02:41A monsoon? What kind of word is that? Monsoon? It's a French word for nobody else is going
02:46to be at the auction. You hope so. With weather like this keeping the riffraff away, I can grab
02:52two or three lockers for cheap. I think you're going the wrong way. The auction's the other
02:56way, mister. Well, look, there's a couch stand right there. How much you'd bid for that couch?
03:02Five bucks, five bucks.
03:06You look happy to be here. It's raining. It's cold. It's okay. And you're here. You're happy I'm here.
03:14Great. Now I have this clown to deal with. Really regretting my decision to come here.
03:18What is happening? I've got umbrellas. I've got hot cocoa. Hot chocolate. You're looking
03:26for chocolate? I've been known to eat a chocolate or two. I've got umbrellas for you guys. Are
03:30you guys, would you like one? Thank you, actually. I would like to let you have an umbrella also.
03:35Thank you. And Miss Casey. I'll give her one. Thank you. Thank you. You see, my plan for
03:39Happy Buyers is already working. Hot cocoa for them and money for me. We've got cocoa. Have some.
03:46It'll warm your soul. It's good for the auction soul. That is great. Oh, yum. Hot cocoa. But the
03:56umbrella is really appreciated. Hey, Ivy. Best day ever. Happy to have you here. Oh, thank you.
04:02A little hot cocoa. I've got some marshmallows. I'm a soul. Cocoa for the men and whiskey for the
04:07horses. Hey there, America. I got lucky today. I had to fail all the way to Palm Springs. Then I
04:15got an alert on my phone that Dan and Lori was doing an auction over here in Bend. I'm going to
04:21stop by because it's raining. And you know, the rain's put everybody in a certain mood. So that
04:27means a lot of people might not show up. I like to rain when I'm home watching my story, but not when
04:34I'm going auction hunting. You know, I can't swim. It's hailing out here, too. Should have
04:40wore a helmet. But I'm going to take my chances. I'm going to go get me a nice unit and try to find
04:46some things that can fit in the trunk. What's up with your boy?
04:51There's somebody I'd rather talk to. How you doing? Welcome to the auction, baby. Oh, you're
04:57perfect. You did a long drive. I don't hug the competition. I don't want to hug you either,
05:02Ivy. Well, Brandy looks like she need a hug. Mother's nature is working her magic.
05:09Yeah. Knowing I can't swim. What? I told you I'd teach you. Are you not going to mess up
05:17your weave? We're going to start in the kiddie pool. All right. All right. All right. I'll
05:24blow it up. We'll do it. I'll give you some of those floaties. It's going to be great. It's
05:28going to be great. Are you really going to let Brandy teach you how to swim? Hell no,
05:32man. Last time I tried this, you almost drowned me in those.
05:39That's a whole new America. Kenny don't do what. Welcome to the auction. Before you
05:46go through these gates, you need to know the rules. You're going to go to the unit, remove
05:49the lock, open the door. Give you five minutes to take a look around. You can't go inside.
05:53You can't open any boxes. And who's ever got the most money in their pocket can own it today.
05:58Are you ready?
06:00All right. Let's go, folks.
06:03Hey, here we go. Little corner. Hey, Dad. Get a look. Bye-bye, Ted, folks.
06:18Well, I could fit a lot of this stuff in the trunk right now, but not the trash.
06:22What's these boxes? Well, a screw cap, arms. It might be some garden tools. You know what
06:29they say? Sometimes another man's treasure is another man's treasure. I'm going to be the only
06:34guy too, boy. All right. Now, this is a small unit. It's an easy, clean unit. Is that what
06:39you tell all the girls? That's true. I do say that. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm talking about this.
06:46It's good to give them a warning ahead of time. Right. A warning. Yeah. Yeah. I mean,
06:50I always thought it was the opposite of that. Like, oh, this is like a easy to bait this
06:55up, but no. All right. I'm going to go take a look. Oh, sake. There's a big-ass shovel in
07:05here so you can shovel the out of it. I love a stolen street sign. That's always a good
07:09sign that there's good stuff in here. There's a lot more units, so I'm going to let somebody
07:15else have this one. Ah. The only places that you can decorate with that locker are frat
07:20houses and man caves. All right. What we got here? Well, they loaded their trash, but only
07:27one bag of trash. Hand tools down there, shovel rakes, snow shovel, cooler. Well, depending
07:35on what's in those boxes, could be a good buy there. Ooh, love the little yard art. I might
07:42be it a little bit. It's dry in here. It's warm in here. And those boxes just might make
07:47my day. Ooh, yeah. No, it looks like they clean up the backyard, to be honest. Yeah.
07:54Yeah. This is a no-no. All right. And if you're ready to go, I'm ready to go. And here we go.
08:01There's nobody dumb enough to buy this unit.
08:03I got twenty-five there. Would have been fifty-fifty's there? Would have been seventy-five back there?
08:21Oh, my God.
08:34Come on, man.
08:36You got it, Ivy.
08:37All right, next case, let's go this way.
08:42I'm going to take some time to dry off and check out those boxes.
08:45Let's see how far my 400 bucks gets me.
08:50Definitely not going to get me far with that first bag.
08:52Let's get that trash out of the way.
08:58I'd be lying to everybody in the world if I said I like books.
09:02How's that poem go?
09:03Books, books.
09:04Not for me.
09:05Books, books.
09:05I actually can't read.
09:07All these books, $20.
09:09Long ways from my $400, but I'm going to get there.
09:12I can feel it.
09:14Nice little flathead shovel with a fiberglass handle.
09:18$10.
09:20Here we go.
09:21Now we're talking.
09:22Money, money, money.
09:24Ooh, everything in here works.
09:26For this whole entire chest of tools, $50.
09:31Ooh, nice big fat snow shovel.
09:33$10.
09:34Wow, feels like paperwork.
09:36Okay.
09:38Ooh, looking better already.
09:41Jewelry!
09:43Ha, ha, ha, ha.
09:45Jewelry's worth a little.
09:47Jewelry's worth a lot.
09:48Ooh, now we're cooking with grease.
09:53Big foreign money.
09:55A little bit of silver there.
09:56Does not, oh, it does say, it says silver.
09:58Sweet.
09:59Ooh, more jewelry.
10:01Jewelry everywhere down in here.
10:02Look at this.
10:03This whole entire box, once I get the jewelry and everything out, $200.
10:07Ooh, now that's heavy.
10:09I thought it was going to be trash, but hey, sometimes you buy a locker gambling and you win.
10:14Only one box in and I'm halfway to payday.
10:17It says photo albums, but I hope that's not true.
10:21Pictures, photo albums, photo albums.
10:23$10 on this box.
10:25No, come on boxes.
10:27Got to be better.
10:28Now this is cool.
10:30It's like butterflies.
10:32It's big, it's iron, and it's worth at least $40.
10:37Frame, this is a nice one.
10:38$20.
10:39Frame, $10.
10:40Ooh, I love the tea.
10:43Pour it in a glass.
10:44Ah, it soothes you.
10:46The rest of this, woo, $30.
10:48Maybe a little, no, that's not so good.
10:53Uh-oh.
10:55Nice bat.
10:58Score!
11:03Woo!
11:05You're a little dizzy when you do that.
11:07Definitely working.
11:07$10.
11:08All this stuff in here.
11:11Picture frames, pictures, and the wagon, $60.
11:15Beautiful mirror.
11:17Mirror, mirror on the wall.
11:18Who's going to make the most money of all?
11:20King of Palmdale always does.
11:23You're smart.
11:25$25 on that mirror, it's in excellent condition.
11:30All right, it looks like knives or silverware.
11:35Open's open.
11:37Open, open.
11:38Oh, here we go.
11:40Ooh!
11:43All right, it looks like knives or silverware.
11:46Ooh, pretty silver.
11:49Let's see, what does that say?
11:51You get blind, you can't see no more, but...
11:53Oh, it might be silver and soft.
11:55Just because I can't read with my eyes don't mean I can't read with my hands.
11:58And that reads silver.
11:59Now, that is a dandy-looking spoon.
12:02Now, the cool thing about sterling, I know, is if you have a whole set, you make more for the set than you do for the weight.
12:09But either way, money in the bank.
12:12There we go.
12:13Woo!
12:13Kung fu knife!
12:15No cavities!
12:17We got to find somebody who knows more about silver than I do.
12:23You stay close.
12:26Woo!
12:26Definitely not as good as the first two boxes.
12:29Whole lot of pots and pan and kitchen stuff.
12:32Still 25 bucks.
12:34Ooh, here we go.
12:35Little bit of silver.
12:36Right on, and a stick.
12:38As you know, silver is soft and it's bendable, and it says that right there.
12:41I found a big pile of silver, but only a small pile of profit, so I've got to get back to the auction and find more.
12:49Okay.
12:50This should be a 5x10.
12:52Yes, it just kind of turns a little bit.
12:59Ain't no light.
13:00Can't see too much, but if there's a bike, I'm going to ride.
13:04And they got a flying carpet in here.
13:06I'm going to take a chance on this one.
13:08There's a wardrobe box back there.
13:13Oh, I just see a wall.
13:16Okay, two bike, set 40.
13:19Did you not miss that there's a mattress and a huge, heavy file cabinet?
13:25Like, uh...
13:26No, that's garbage, baby.
13:28Yeah, I don't have any more.
13:29Yeah!
13:30Good-looking 6-foot-5-inch rug over there.
13:34King-size box spring with no mattress.
13:37Mountain bike.
13:38A suitcase in the middle, and a jacket.
13:41Eh, came too far and too bad of weather to buy this room.
13:44I'm looking for more better, more bigger, more awesomer.
13:49I don't need a mattress.
13:51I don't need a bicycle.
13:53I don't know, man.
13:54There's not anything really I could use in here.
13:56Okay.
13:57You notice the file cabinet's locked, which means, you know, it's probably full of tonic books, sir.
14:02Is that what it is?
14:04Probably not.
14:05No?
14:06Man, you are reaching.
14:07Yes.
14:08You are reaching.
14:09Yeah.
14:10All right!
14:11Here we go, number 20.
14:12Let me see a play.
14:13Come on, come on, come on, come on.
14:14Come on, come on.
14:14Come on, come on.
14:15Come on, come on.
14:15Just because I don't want it, don't mean can he get it for cheap.
14:35The only reason why I got this unit, because of the mystery file cabinet here.
15:04The last time I bought a file cabinet, it was $1,700 in that bird bag.
15:09So, maybe I strike again.
15:13Kumbaya.
15:17Back to the auctions.
15:25I'm like, we need to go to more auctions in San Diego.
15:28It's nice and warm.
15:30And, of course, mine hasn't worn shorts, right?
15:32I'm like, it could have been snowy and he's still wearing shorts.
15:36Nobody had the misconception that he was smart.
15:40I'm like, that's one thing you and I have to agree on.
15:44Here we go!
15:47Last chance to dance.
15:54Clean, at least.
15:55A lot of bins.
16:00It's a nice shelf back there.
16:02What is it, a dresser?
16:03There's no way I can leave cold, wet, and empty-handed.
16:07Please be good.
16:08All right, Kenny, last unit.
16:10Yeah, the low-key safari unit.
16:12We got plants, crock pots.
16:14We got all kind of plastic plants.
16:17I could use that blanket, Rob, out right now.
16:21TV monitor.
16:22Computer screen.
16:24Man.
16:25This whole unit's plastic.
16:27Oh, deeper than it looks.
16:29A couple of screens.
16:31Crock pot.
16:33About the single mom unit.
16:34Oh, it's got a purse right there.
16:36Fake Gucci.
16:38Nice, big, fat Mexican blankets.
16:40Definitely keep you warm on a day like today.
16:42Say, this room turns out to be a little bit better than I thought it was back there.
16:46I might be in one or two times.
16:51That's a couple of TV monitors.
16:52I mean, there's bags back there.
16:54It looks like a singles person, but it's a nice igloo.
16:56You said you wanted a cooler earlier, so there's another igloo.
17:00Do you mean igloo?
17:01Igloo.
17:02Did you say igloo?
17:04I like all this girly stuff, so I'm bidding.
17:06This looks like it's a bad unit, but I do have that itch.
17:12It's called hemorrheds.
17:13I know, I need some cream.
17:14Can you apply?
17:15God.
17:17All right, we've got a big old nice unit here.
17:19Here we go.
17:19Now much money, what's your pleasure?
17:20What are you going to pay soon?
17:21I got 20, now 25, now 30 bucks, and 35.
17:24What about 35?
17:25What about 45?
17:26100 there.
17:27What about a quarter there?
17:27100 to heck, but 150.
17:29150, 175.
17:30What about 200 there?
17:30Two and a quarter, 25.
17:32Two and a half.
17:32What about 250 and 75?
17:34What about 300?
17:35Oh, great.
17:35Now frickin' fracker bidding.
17:37Three, one of a three and a quarter, 25, and three and a half.
17:39One of a three, 50, and 75.
17:41Yeah.
17:41It's a cat fight!
17:42Four and a quarter, 25, and four and a half.
17:44One of a 450, and 75.
17:45One of a five, five.
17:46One of a 500.
17:47500, five and a quarter, 25.
17:49Five 25 there.
17:50Five and a half, one of a 550.
17:51Five 50 and 575.
17:53575 going once.
17:54575 going twice.
17:56Five and a half, one of a 550.
18:00Five 50 and 575.
18:01Five 75 going once.
18:03Five 75 going twice.
18:04Six and a half, six there, six there, six there, six and a quarter, 625 now.
18:09Six and a quarter, 625 going once, twice.
18:12Six and a half, one of a 650 going once.
18:15Six 50 going twice.
18:17Last of a five and a color, six, six, one of a 650 now.
18:20So let's do it.
18:20Ready?
18:21Casey, 625 winner.
18:23You got it!
18:24What the heck just happened?
18:27Folks, that's the end of the auction.
18:29And don't forget to pay the lady.
18:30I'll see you in the office.
18:33Well, that was a lovely waste of time.
18:36This day sucked.
18:37Turns out, Banning is no Palm Springs.
18:41It's your unit.
18:42That's about $500 too much.
18:44No, it's not.
18:45Here, I bought it.
18:46You pull it down.
18:47It's called teamwork, baby.
18:51I don't know what you guys saw in there.
18:54I hope you're lucky like a boy.
18:57I'm back.
18:59You better be worth it for all the cabinets.
19:02You got a mattress.
19:04Ain't nobody buying no used mattresses no more.
19:06So you lost money on that one.
19:08We got a hydro rub.
19:10Might be worth some money.
19:12I'd say about $20 for this shit rub.
19:14Dead motorcycle right here.
19:16And they got a little Rust-Oleon on here.
19:19Ties are flat.
19:20It'd be a slow ride to Vegas.
19:23I'd say about a good $25 right here.
19:25What is this here?
19:27Let's go to Blackburn.
19:29What we got here, boy?
19:31We got nothing.
19:34A suitcase in a suitcase.
19:36No money.
19:38All right, what we got here?
19:40Looks like it's never been open.
19:42What the hell?
19:44Let me see.
19:46It's a computer monitor.
19:50It's kind of fancy.
19:52What is this?
19:53A silicone graphics.
19:56Hmm.
19:57You mean like boobies?
20:01Yeah, boobies are pricey these days.
20:04So I'm going to say about 100 big ones on this one.
20:06Y'all know what I'm talking about, America.
20:08A lot of high-tech stuff right here.
20:12We got a dolly in here.
20:14The dolly is about $10.
20:16You got this here for our cabin.
20:19Empty.
20:20Let me see.
20:22Empty.
20:23Empty.
20:25Empty.
20:30Bubble wrap, bitch, boy.
20:32What the hell?
20:33I thought there was going to be a hidden treasure in here.
20:36Not locked.
20:37Not good.
20:39$37.
20:39You let me down, file cabinets.
20:44Is that Ivy out here banging around out there?
20:47Ivy!
20:48I need some helps over here, boy.
20:51Can you help me get this out here so I can get to the back?
20:54Oh, it's empty.
20:55I know what that means.
20:56Empty file cabinets?
20:57Bad thing.
21:00Damn.
21:00What kind of Cheerios you eating?
21:04Damn, you just drag that thing like that, bro.
21:07The kind with oats in them.
21:08Oh, I got to get some of them things.
21:10Empty boxes.
21:11Empty boxes.
21:12Empty box.
21:14Damn, I got full America.
21:16All these boxes are empty.
21:18They're terrible.
21:19How much you pay again?
21:20$5.25.
21:21Hey, look.
21:22That's how much you paid right there.
21:23$5.25.
21:25That's God talking to you.
21:27Come on, God.
21:28Please be a sign of good things to come.
21:30Ain't in here, man, for empty boxes, empty containers.
21:34I've got nothing.
21:35Don't cry in front of me.
21:36Cry when you get in your car so I don't see it.
21:38Kenny need to stop all this crying and start digging.
21:41Let me see.
21:42You don't know how to dig.
21:43You gotta dig.
21:44You gotta dig what?
21:47Oh, my goodness.
21:49That's what's in these?
21:51You know what?
21:52I'm leaving because this could be contagious.
21:53It's like a virus.
21:54It's spread.
21:55I'm out of here.
21:57Works on cooties, too.
21:58I want to thank you for helping me carry out the damn file cabinet.
22:04Oh, you need more help than that.
22:05Way more help than that.
22:10Ain't nothing, bro.
22:11What the hell is this?
22:19What do we got here, boy?
22:22What the hell is this?
22:23Some kind of torture device.
22:27I don't know what the hell.
22:28I don't see no name on it.
22:30And we got this big-ass piece of dental floss right here.
22:34Broken wash parts.
22:38Somebody was trying to be a washman.
22:39I don't know nothing about this ticky-tock bits and bobs, but I will find somebody who does.
22:44Believe that, America.
22:45We got two containers.
22:47Probably get $5 a piece on them.
22:52We got something in here.
22:56It's kind of heavy, too.
22:57Subwoofer.
22:58Speaker.
22:59So TS-10.
23:01This here Subwoofer, you're not going to get the quality sound.
23:04You probably get something like...
23:06Something like that.
23:10But you probably get about $100 for it.
23:13Kenny, this was not good.
23:16This was not good.
23:17I'm leaving with no money, wet feet, and an empty trunk.
23:21Not a good day, America.
23:23Well, I made half of my money back.
23:26And hope I can wind up some profits with this clock collection right here.
23:31But it's time to go.
23:42Why did we buy this again?
23:45It looks good.
23:46It's a girl unit.
23:47I see a handbag right there.
23:49It tells all kinds of stories of maybe designer good stuff.
23:52Okay.
23:53Let's see what we got.
23:53Shoes.
23:55Ooh.
23:5610 bucks.
23:58See the bag.
23:59Ooh, and see, look.
24:00There's a bag inside of a bag.
24:02Will there be a bag inside the other bag?
24:04I feel like...
24:06Ooh, see, look.
24:07Here's another 10 bucks.
24:08You told me it was full of handbags.
24:10That's probably like...
24:1150 bucks?
24:12Oh, that's a little bit more interesting.
24:14Stuff from Mexico.
24:16Doll.
24:1820 bucks.
24:19Clothes, clothes, clothes.
24:22Junk.
24:23It's a nice coat.
24:25This right here is 30 bucks.
24:26I know.
24:27You just want to be right, but not fill in this locker.
24:29The only good thing I see right now is the sun.
24:32Oh, actually, this is nice.
24:34Oh, Lakers.
24:35Oh, my God.
24:35That's so cute.
24:3720 bucks.
24:37Look, more bags.
24:38See, I told you.
24:39I sell all kinds of bags.
24:41$10 each.
24:43Great.
24:43Well, we only need about 60 fake bags to break even.
24:46Cooler, 10 bucks.
24:48Television, 20 bucks.
24:50Vizio, Sonya.
24:52A little bit bigger.
24:5340 bucks.
24:55I'm sorry, baby.
24:55I feel like you shouldn't have bought this unit.
24:59You know you're not making any money when your best item of the day is a neon green igloo.
25:0410 bucks.
25:06Hey.
25:07Nay.
25:08Now we're into money.
25:09Oh, that looks like it'll fit you.
25:10It's just your size.
25:11Please.
25:13Okay.
25:14All right.
25:14I think for the safety of the company, I should make the unit purchasing decisions again.
25:20Close.
25:20Close.
25:21Close.
25:2310 bucks.
25:24Careful with the stuff that's good.
25:27What was good?
25:28Stop it.
25:30Where's the other shoe?
25:32This is an expensive designer.
25:35Tory Burch?
25:36Tory Burch.
25:37Okay.
25:38What's it worth?
25:3810, 20 bucks?
25:39No, it's worth more than that.
25:40But where's the other shoe?
25:41That's the question.
25:42Where did you get this?
25:42It, like, bounced out of something.
25:46Oh, look at that close.
25:4710 bucks if you're lucky.
25:49You bought a garbage unit.
25:50You should have just dropped this on brandy.
25:5520 bucks, maybe.
25:57Here's a tree.
25:59Here, do the hula hoops.
26:00Don't you know how to do that?
26:01I suck.
26:05Okay, your turn.
26:06Show me how it's done.
26:11There you go.
26:12There you go.
26:14Well, that's one way to get you to shake your hips.
26:18Oh, my God.
26:18This is actually something that might be worth money, I guess, jacket.
26:21Yeah, see?
26:22Oh, and it's camo.
26:23That's the first valuable item.
26:25That's 40 bucks.
26:26Here's another bag.
26:28Full of bags.
26:29Here we go.
26:30More bags.
26:3060 bucks.
26:31This is, like, one of the worst units we've ever bought.
26:34You're not allowed to bid anymore.
26:36Sorry.
26:38Oh, see, there's the other designer shoe.
26:40There you go.
26:41Tori Birch is super expensive.
26:42On the secondary market, it's definitely 50 bucks.
26:46Scooter, 10 bucks.
26:49Stuffed animals, 10 bucks.
26:51What about this box?
26:53We already looked at that box.
26:54No, we didn't.
26:54I pulled this one out.
26:57Two DVD players, 10 bucks each.
26:59What is that?
27:00Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
27:03I feel like I might have picked a good unit.
27:05The hell is that?
27:09The hell is that?
27:10Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
27:13I feel like I might have picked a good unit.
27:15Oh, you be quiet.
27:17I bought the unit.
27:18That looks like camera equipment.
27:21What is that?
27:22It looks like a lens.
27:24Compensating sight.
27:26Gyroscope.
27:26when i think of gyro i think of food it looks military the way it's built it looks old look
27:33how heavy that is like that's how they used to build stuff in the 40s wow yeah this thing is
27:38made to last it's solid it does have an altitude setting it also has miles per hour strafe i mean
27:46strafe means like straffing when you fly compensating sight that is most likely from
27:51a fighter plane so just imagine you're chasing me and you see me you go and then you're
27:55how do you know this you like know a little bit about everything it's crazy yeah i think it's
28:05something maybe we should get checked out yeah um we should yeah but let's find out what it's worth
28:09but i'm keeping it because you're making me buy a crappy unit this is my reward that might be one
28:14of my coolest finds in a while oh he's gonna be really sad when i sell that thing lord of the
28:19rings blue rays probably 50 bucks in here why are you always stacking mountains in the warehouse you
28:26have mountains now you're doing it in here yeah that's just 10 bucks that's clayborne i told you
28:34tons of designer handbags this is brand new 20 bucks it's full of sunglasses
28:41well one thing is for sure what this is solid wood and next time that's just brandy by the
29:04stupid ass locker
29:05i'm lugging my fancy flatware over to sally and lawrence at studio antiques
29:12let's see if they can turn this silver into money you thought i was gonna say gold didn't you
29:19hey how you doing hey guys how you doing good to see you to see you good good to see you
29:24and you well let's get down to business like get oh you almost got slapped in the face right there
29:29didn't you yeah buy me there let's you know all righty well i brought some silver that we all know
29:33well we all know about silver we kind of do yeah i have my few little things that tell me about silver
29:39so look you know soft softness tells me yeah thickness tells me weight tells me that i like silver
29:45right but there's always those few things that i just don't know that's where you come in well
29:50we're going to help you out with that one maybe oh look at that look at this this is beautiful this
29:59is good oh i know this pattern actually this is really cool it's a hard to find pattern do you know
30:05that no yeah that's why i'm here made by uh it feels good steif is it steif right yeah steif so this
30:12company is famous for this kind of design yeah if this is repose or if it's rose repose
30:19repose refers to the fact that the pattern was hammered from the bottom as opposed to an emboss
30:26which would be from the top this is heavy stuff matey you know i love that thing it kind of reminds
30:31me of myself so so if you look at the serving thing there's a dinner fork salad fork a dinner knife
30:42and a teaspoon usually they're in five with a tablespoon with it so this one is missing that
30:51fifth spoon mother forker where's my spoon somebody ain't getting soup but look at how
30:58clean and shiny yeah that's unreal it must have been somebody's really good yeah silverware so i want to
31:05point out is that not every set of flatware is sterling and in this case this one we know because
31:12it says sterling but if you had picked this up and it didn't have anything that said sterling
31:18then likely would not be sterling that's when i get worried do you want to look at this piece
31:24okay the reason i want to show you is it's not sterling okay so the hotel modesto when it was built
31:31in 1914 it was like the fancy place so clearly they customized this for their location it burned down
31:40in i think 1944 so yeah a lot of people collect this hotel where they call it right but this is a harder
31:47piece to get all right yeah i like the voice of that thing right there all right well you know the
31:54magical question was coming and the question is how much money can you serve me up i can serve you up for
32:01this well you know the magical question was coming and the question is how much money can you serve me up
32:10i can serve you up for this this eight ounces i can serve you up around about 150 already that's pretty
32:20cool eh i mean a lot good tonight on that on this one here hmm there ain't no poison ivy here mate this
32:32is all good ivy you know good ivy
32:3825
32:40my big smackaroos man all right that's a spoonful of money there thank you congratulations oh jubilations
32:48it is i'm happy inside i'm not showing it though oh okay okay i'm going to just go sell it and
32:53celebrate oh i'm old i'm old kind of celebration guy hey what do you do drink beer and say yay
32:59i'm a big history nerd so i'm excited to meet with jeff fullerhan at the march airfield museum
33:12to find out more about the site hi jeff hi renee nice to meet you welcome to the marchfield air
33:17museum thank you my wife casey nice to meet you too this place is absolutely amazing well thank you
33:23we're one of the largest air museums on the west coast of the united states it's uh it's got a great
33:26collection i can't wait to look around but first i brought you something my laser beam sight collector
33:32attack site destroyer ground something maybe ah that's a beauty you know these things are not
33:38normally in that beautiful condition this is practically mint but this is a k-11 gun sight
33:42that was built for a b-24 liberator turret oh for a bomber for a bomber i thought it was a fighter
33:48no they're they're a little bit different sperry made uh gun sights for fighters too they were made
33:53around 1943 1944 a little late in the war but this k-11 was specifically for the nose gun of a b-24
34:00why would a b-24 have a nose gun they don't maneuver where they crown strap you know during the second
34:05world war yeah one of the biggest difficulties the bombers had is enemy fighters attacking them from
34:10the nose they come straight on at them and as they came at them they defend they had no way to defend
34:15themselves so they actually built gun turrets into the nose of these bombers so that they would be able to
34:20fire at them one of the real difficult things about aviation and and gun sights in general is that
34:26what happens is you've got a target coming in at you like this and then you're moving like this
34:30so everything's in constant motion so when you fire you can't fire directly at whoever you gotta go ahead
34:35yeah and you have to go out and it arcs the bullets arc around like this and that'll catch them as they
34:40come in i played every simulator in the 90s that was a plane simulator well then you know that's exactly how
34:46it works this what it did is it would put a little sight called a pip a pip position indicator right
34:54right in the glass here and it would show you where that you should aim in order to be able to hit that
34:59fighter it's got a couple of things on it that are really unique too right here you can set the altitude
35:05and you can set your own speed and then you lock this into the turret so it's lined up with the guns and
35:09whenever it moves it'll put that reflection right up there on the site so you know exactly where you
35:14should be shooting in order to be able to hit that enemy fighter as it comes in and is that an
35:18actual time period piece or is this is absolutely it's probably the most uh pristine example of a
35:24of a k-11 gun sight i've ever seen really this is something that is absolutely priceless it is unique
35:30it is a piece of american history from the second world war unique history best you've ever seen so
35:37how much would you invest in something like this to have the best one on display
35:40i cannot legally say according to the american alliance of museums i can never put a price on
35:46an artifact all i can ever say is it's priceless i'm priceless but i'll do certain things for price
35:53there's always an amount right you heard that here first well can we check out some of those gun
35:58sites you were talking about absolutely i want to see what it's like
36:04could you imagine back in the day like how little you had to be like they would actually have to sit in
36:08here and then they would have to lean over like this an entire time they would just have to have
36:12their arms rested like this and they always got to be ready to fight right because you never know
36:16when a fighter comes out so and now you see him in your side he's coming it's a 190 he's coming to
36:22take you out you know he's going to aim for the turret first so you just be like all right come on you
36:25german come over here
36:30joey germans coming to your six captain they're coming there's more m109's coming we don't know
36:37what to do 190's at your six ah did you get him i don't know i i was just going by instinct
36:45i'm an instinct fighter i don't think i just go isn't that what they teach you like in just go
36:50no they never teach you instinct instinct always get you in trouble that's how i got married
36:55i'm taking my mini clock kit to see dimitri kosoi at rush hour george kumbaya
37:06i don't like prison gate they said time is money so he is hoping he'll give me a lot of it dimitri
37:13yes ken kenny i called you earlier yes i got this here um special find and that's why i called you
37:20to check it out for me okay let's see uh okay i thought it was like somebody just collecting parts
37:29no it's not a big old piece of floss
37:31and it's a it's an old watchmaker lid old watchmaker lid probably from 40s 50s oh really yeah
37:42most likely made it switzerland or germany they used to be the manufacturing for tools like that uh-huh
37:51the watchmakers used to fix the broken pillars the broken what now see in the end there is a small
37:59pivot all right oh a pivot usually if something like that breaks so you put it in that machine
38:06you you cut it into the shape you need for the watch you know you need that's what that does cut it
38:12yeah that cuts so and you do it by hand so if you need to fix something quick you do that
38:18so a watch lathe fixes those teeny tiny mechanical pieces that lives inside of the watch what kind of
38:24condition you think it's been right now it's a pretty good shape yeah yeah is this the you think
38:30this is the original case yeah it is the original case the case worked money to them no it's just nice
38:36addition yeah so is this a um professional watch fixer-upper uh amateur that it is a professional
38:44there's a profession for somebody who knows what he's what they're doing does this um work on all kind of
38:50watch the old watches new watches pretty much of any watch which has a mechanical parts which needs
38:57fixing it's possible we know time is money but how much money is this time worth can you give me a
39:04price on this uh nowadays i would say something like that costs um like 850 dollars that's what i'm
39:18talking about dang it tick tock and it don't stop about time i saw some profit what you start seeing
39:26something oh yeah you gotta put it way up to you oh this i can see clearly now the time is gone
39:37casey planned a little layover at vintage productions to see bob chat she is desperate to see profited
39:44outside how are you nice to see you how are you you know casey i found something cool i need your
39:51expertise on oh that's really cool it's the k11 speary gun sight this was like revolutionary it was
39:57used in the front nose of the b24 as the plane no matter how high it went or how fast it was going
40:02this piece would adjust the gun sights for the 50 caliber machine guns this advanced the u.s air power
40:07like it had never been done before no more germans coming on the front huh germans japanese everything
40:12i mean this this set made the b24s just untouchable wow you see these a lot in the military business
40:19you will see them old pilots want to have them you know airplane enthusiasts want to have them
40:24and they sell frequently you'll see them hit the market okay have you ever seen one in this good of
40:30a condition no i will say that's the best conditional i've ever seen you're the second person telling me
40:34that today you know one thing that's always missing when you look at these is the lamp and you've got the
40:38lamp in there that's always missing so that's a plus usually they're all beat up they're scratched
40:44pieces are broken on it well i got a really good reliable source it's priceless i don't think it's
40:50priceless we can go from there so you know my main concern how strong is the market with this and how
40:56much can i get out of it you know you'll see these all over the spectrum you'll see them really super high
41:03people hoping to catch somebody but you know i think because of the condition the bulbs there
41:08all the lenses there the condition is fantastic this one should sell for
41:15450. actually that's pretty good money i mean it's all profit at this point but you know what
41:20i think we'll have to keep it take it home put it in the bathroom and you're going to work on your aim
41:25right ivy calvin turned silver into money serving up 2 800 smackaroos kenny crossley watched his
41:45bank account grow to over 600 bucks renee and casey took aim and sorry fly boy i'm selling this
41:53us renee and casey took aim and bagged a 365 dollar profit while brandy passante returned home
42:04cold and wet all right kenny time to learn how to swim i'm right here i won't let you down
42:11i was a lifeguard in high school sure pal yeah bro come on come on there you go
42:18oh damn it's almost to my nuts bro oh come on come on come on one more step no no no no this this
42:27this enough on lesson one come on i'm sorry i'm sorry we still friends adios amiga i got a better idea
42:35homey i'm swimming look at me swimming girl
