Mike Smith the man behind Mike's Carpets has died.

00:06has sadly died. Mike sold carpets originally on Leeds Kirkgate market where he made the famous
00:13videos which became well-known TV adverts. His wife Carol told the ITV calendar this week that
00:20sadly he passed away from heart failure, a condition he had been living with for the past six months.
