L'étape reine de cette 48e édition du Giro Next Gen, c'était ce samedi... et nous avons assisté à un sacré spectacle ! En effet, tous les grands noms de ce Tour d'Italie U23 ont connu des fortunes diverses sur les 163 kilomètres de cette 7e étape entre Bra er Prato Nevoso. Auteur d'un véritable numéro en solitaire, c'est Pavel Novak (MBH Bank Ballan CSB) qui s'est imposé au sommet et qui fait une belle remonté au classement général, où il remonte 3e. Derrière lui, le maillot rose Luke Tuckwell (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies), attaqué de toute part, a réussi à résister et conserve la tête du général pour 11 petites secondes sur Jakob Omrzel (Bahrain Victorious Development).
