06:19finish line once again once they're gonna reach the top in Dori it's gonna be a brief moment
06:34of slight descent a descent where you need to pedal and after that another little climb
06:41of 1.5 km way harder than what they're facing now and then it's gonna be more or less up
06:47and down till the very end with very gentle slopes but in the case you're climbing or descending but
06:53still a long way as Carlos are beginning to be a bit isolated but that's it for Sepeda and now
07:00Carapaz goes Del Toro straight onto him Juan Ayuso too he accelerates again Bernal has joined this
07:06group Damiano Caruso with Tiberi on his wheel scrambling to get across and Derek G reacting as
07:11well but that's a big big investment now from Richard Carapaz who cannot shake the Malia Rosa
07:16or Juan Ayuso and Egan Bernal yeah the presence of Caruso but look how far is Roglic compared to
07:22their teammates yep he cannot even hold the pace of both Pelizzari or Dani Martinez is in company with
07:29the Ulysses the man who was supposed to win today has failed to start after being injured in a crash
07:35yesterday but somehow they have unlocked the key to success once more little Trek are about to do it
07:40all and they're going to do it all from the most unlikely of sources the 32 year old with only
07:46one professional win to his name in his long and glorious career Carlos Verona a winner at the Dauphiné
07:52four years ago comes to Italy in triumph and takes the first big stage in the Alves Carlos Verona blasted
08:00away early on that final climb and was never seen again
08:06catchall not the finish good and near again how humble is Isaac del Toro congratulating on Carlos
08:12In the second post, when we look at this first time, Carlos Verona,
08:17and in the second post, the 145, for Florian Storch,
08:22and we have all the others, we have Jason Knox,
08:25so, Fjorelli, who is going to adjust, this is Marcelo.
08:32And here again, how humble is Isaac Del Toro, congratulating on Carlos Verona.
08:42They are missing the first time in 2021.
08:48They are also missing the C-Clock.
08:54The first time we got to the post, the second pass....
09:00...and of course we are the first one, Goldick.
09:05The second one is to pick up and pick up...
09:08This passage is the limit of the 21.57
09:38It's four years ago and that's as close as he's ever come
09:41But he dominated that, that wasn't even close
09:44Yeah, there was no doubt that he was the strongest among the riders on the breakaway
09:49And he wrote perfection today, so chapeau to him
09:53One of my favorite quotes from that lovely interview he just gave us was
09:57I'm actually rather slow, I'm not very fast, he said
10:00I think he meant in a sprint
10:02Yeah, that's what he meant, definitely
10:04He had to get clear of everyone and boy did he get clear of everyone
10:07Think of the riders he held off, Filippo Zana, a former stage winner at the Giro d'Italia
10:14Former national champion and one of the most promising names
10:17As a young rider in Italian cycling at the moment, Giancarlo Garofoli
10:23She gets soaked with the sparkling wine as well
10:32That's gonna taste very good
10:34Easing up as he crossed the line and Florian Storch
10:51From Tudor Pro Cycling, that's their pretty much their best result of the Giro so far
10:56Second place on their stage, we didn't see the moment where here
10:59I think he's going to win a stage before the end
11:02It's very likely to happen, you know
11:05If not as certain as Texas
11:08He looks, on the evidence of what we saw today, he looks
11:11Frankly, in a slightly different league from everybody else
11:15I mean it remains to be seen, it's a long way still
11:18And we talk about the third week for good reason
11:21Because the Giro d'Italia has a long tradition of upsetting everything in the third week
11:26It happens often at the Giro d'Italia
11:28Yeah, the only, like, unpredictable thing that we could expect from Isaiah Del Torre is that
11:36There weren't many climbs so far in this Giro d'Italia
11:41But it seems like the other riders were feeling even those little climbs
11:47When he deploys them, he's gonna have to really make it count
11:50Yeah, it seems like to me that he just was more stopping and preventing the other to go clear
11:57Rather than try to get himself in a possibility or in a position to get a victory
12:02But he leads Primoz Roglic by almost four minutes now
12:05And poor old Primoz Roglic drops down to tenth place
12:09Thank you
