Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), June 21, 2025 (ANI): On the occasion of 11th International Yoga Day, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said that around 3 lakh people joined Prime Minister Modi in Visakhapatnam for the Yoga event. He also said that with this Andhra Pradesh has broken a world record which was previously in the name of Surat.

00:00At the end of the day, we are one government, one state.
00:02We are really proud because the Honourable Prime Minister created a movement.
00:07And for the last 11 years, he was driving this movement from the front.
00:11And we are very lucky that this time around, he gave Andhra Pradesh the opportunity to showcase our talent.
00:17So for the last one year, our tribal kids have been practicing Surya Namaskar.
00:21And yesterday, 22,000 of the kids came together to showcase their talent.
00:25And it was just so adorable and magical that they did it.
00:30And they created a world record together yesterday here in Andhra Pradesh.
00:34And today, we are really lucky that people of Andhra Pradesh, especially North Andhra,
00:38gave us the opportunity to break the world record that was previously set by Surat.
00:43Anywhere between 2.8 lakhs to 3 lakhs people participated in the program today with the Honourable Prime Minister.
00:49Close to 26 kilometers of the road, you know, they practice yoga together.
00:53So we are going to get the exact number by end of the day, but we also created another world record.
