The Star Media Group (SMG) bagged two gold awards through its content design team and senior writer Ragananthini Vethasalam at the Malaysian Press Institute (MPI)-PETRONAS Malaysian Journalism Awards 2024 on Friday (June 20) night.

00:33The Star team also secured both second and third place in the Best Multimedia category,
00:38receiving RM3,000 and RM2,000 in cash prizes, respectively, along with trophies.
00:45The Star Metro journalist Mohamed Farid Abdul Wahab
00:48came in third in the Best Feature Writing category.
00:51The Star Video team also came third in the Best Environmental,
00:55Social and Governance Journalism category
00:57for its compelling series of videos.
