New Delhi – A video from a Delhi Metro train has gone viral, claiming a snake entered the ladies coach, causing chaos among passengers. In the footage, women can be seen screaming and climbing onto seats in fear, sparking alarm across social media.

Responding swiftly, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) evacuated the train at Akshardham station and sent it to the depot for inspection. No snake was found, but a small lizard was discovered, which may have triggered the panic.

DMRC issued a statement confirming that passenger safety is their top priority and urged commuters to report any unusual incidents immediately.
