Thirty-six Indian nationals and a local driver escaped unhurt after the tour bus they were travelling in skidded and crashed at KM 396.2 of the North-South Expressway (NSE) northbound near Muallim on Thursday (June 19).

00:24at 3.39 p.m. on Thursday involved a bus traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh.
00:30Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver lost control causing the vehicle to veer
00:35to the right crash into the central divider and end up in a drain. The 41 year old driver and all
00:4236 passengers comprising 32 men and four women all Indian nationals were unharmed in the accident.
00:49The group was believed to be traveling from Hotel Regalia in Kuala Lumpur to Hotel Weil in Ipoh.
00:56All passengers were safely transferred to a replacement bus to continue their journey.
