00:00Did you notice in the Avengers? When Thor attacks Hulk with Mjolnir, you can see that when Hulk tries
00:04to lift the hammer, it immediately drops to the ground. But the most curious detail is that Thor
00:08is holding the hammer, and it doesn't travel in a straight line, it spins through the air.
00:12The same thing happens in Avengers, Age of Ultron. When Thor throws the hammer at Quicksilver,
00:16Quicksilver, with his super speed, tries to grab it, but the hammer drops right away. However,
00:20this time, it's less impressive, it travels in a straight line and falls in a straight line.
00:24But that's kind of weird, isn't it? Because in Thor, Ragnarok, when Thor throws the hammer,
00:28it hits a bunch of monsters and doesn't fall to the ground. It comes right back to Thor's hand.
00:32It didn't fall because no one tried to lift it. But that brings up a question,
00:36was the magic Odin cast on the hammer itself or just on the handle? Because the enchantment only
00:40seems to work when someone tries to lift it. I believe it's on the handle,
00:43because when Hela destroys it, she grabs it from the top, not the handle.
