00:29FAC football, how big an initiative is this?
00:32This is humongous.
00:33We have teams from up and down the country
00:36who have qualified to be here today.
00:38So they've earned their spot.
00:40They are looking to be the winners in their age division.
00:43We have 12U, which is mixed, 15U girls,
00:46and then we have a 15U mixed category.
00:49This is a huge deal, and the winner of this
00:51will ultimately be going to the States
00:53for the NFL championships this summer as well
00:57to compete and represent Great Britain.
00:59The talent is everywhere out here.
01:01You don't want to miss this.
01:02The kids are too excited.
01:03I'm too excited as well.
01:05And NFL flag football is going into the Olympics.
01:07How big a shop window is that for this sport?
01:09The fact that we are going to have flag football
01:11in the Olympics is firstly a dream.
01:14As a player myself, it is something
01:16that I never thought would be true,
01:18but it is only going to grow and develop this sport.
01:21We're already getting cross-sport athletes
01:23coming in and wanting to be involved,
01:25netball to hockey and also football.
01:30But this is only the beginning of this.
01:31We're hoping 2020 Olympics will then lead us
01:34to Brisbane 2032.
01:36It is just the beginning for this incredible sport
01:39that genuinely is changing lives around the world.
