00:11 all been accepted onto the Olympic program for the Los Angeles Games in 2028. We'll start

00:17 with squash, a sport that's very close to home here in Yorkshire. We've got a powerful

00:20 Yorkshire league that attracts some of the best players around the world. People like

00:24 Nick Matthew and James Wilstrop, products of that, and they've become world champions

00:29 in the past. They spent most of their career lobbying for squash's inclusion in the Olympic

00:33 Games and it has finally been accepted into the 2028 program by the IOC in a conference

00:40 in Mumbai. Fantastic news for them. We're going to hear from Asia Harris, an 18-year-old from

00:45 Pontefract, in Tuesday's Yorkshire Post. Joining them in the 2028 Games is T20 cricket, which

00:52 made its bow at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham last year to great acclaim. Flag

00:57 football, which is the non-contact version of the NFL American football, that makes its

01:03 debut, surprise, surprise, in an American Games in Los Angeles. Lacrosse is also going to be

01:09 in the Games in 2028, as is another American favourite, baseball and softball, which returns

01:16 to the Olympics after a spell earlier this century.
