00:17chaos but here's the real question do you know your rights let's break it down
00:22if there's a delay after check-in airlines have to give you free food and refreshments
00:32longer the delay the more they owe you there's a two hour plus delay you must get free snacks or
00:38meals if there's a six plus hour delay in domestic flights they owe you an alternate flight or a
00:44full refund along with the refreshments if a night flight is delayed for over six hours they owe you
00:49a hotel stay plus the new flight but if the flight is canceled the refund rules depend on when they've
00:57told you if you've been told about flight cancellation up to two weeks in advance they owe you a refund or
01:04an alternate flight accommodation if you're told about the cancellation 24 hours to two weeks before
01:10the actual flight you must be given a alternate flight within two hours of reaching the airport
