00:00Hi Marcus, so you're doing the half marathon and you're doing it for Acorns aren't you?
00:06Acorns Children's Hospice, yes.
00:09Just explain why you're doing that and how it all came about.
00:12I'm a former professional boxer, world champion and English champion but I'm ready to put
00:18the trainers back on now and run a half marathon for this great cause for Acorns Children's
00:24Hospice.
00:25It's close to my mother-in-law's heart so this is exactly why I'm doing it.
00:29So what made you choose Acorns?
00:30It's just a great work they do with children and under severe circumstances they are.
00:36I met the ladies, some of the ladies in Walsall Branch the other day and they showed me some
00:42stories and I'm just heart warmed of the work they do there.
00:46It's an amazing place.
00:47It is, yes.
00:48And I suppose you've been putting in a lot of training.
00:51I'm running currently about 60 miles a week so I know it's more but after this half marathon
00:56I'm going to be completing a full marathon after that.
00:58Oh really?
00:59Where's that going to be?
01:00That'll be in London.

01:03Fantastic.
01:04Yeah, great.
01:05And you're all registered for that are you?
01:06Not yet but I'll just see how I'll get on with this one first.
01:09Brilliant.
01:10Well all the best anyway mate and I'm sure you'll do a cracking job.
