We enjoy a Peak District getaway and review Rock Mill Apartment complex in Stoney Middleton

00:00This is Ria and I'm at Rockmill Apartment 27. So I've just checked in and it's a really pretty place.

00:09Now it's more than just a comfortable apartment. This feels like almost a home from home.

00:14So I'm going to take you through a really quick walkthrough of the stunning space.

00:19So there's cute artwork adorning the walls. This says it's never too early for a cocktail.

00:25My kind of people. And it's a self-catering apartment.

00:30So you've got all the funky knives and a fridge cooker.

00:37What I love about this place is I'm actually sipping water, but it's got ice in it.

00:46Now the ice, I wanted to let you know actually, the ice is from the fridge freezer.

00:51And that just points to how thoughtful the owners have been.

00:56It's more than just a place where you can put your head down and get comfortable.

01:00It's the little touches like, you know, the nice coffee machine and all the pods there.

01:07And the ice cubes ready to, you know, just feel peace and comfort.

01:12So that's why, one of the reasons why I would return here.

01:15But back to the quick walkthrough, let me show you.

01:19So I mentioned a lovely artwork on the wall.

01:22This is part of the, the first thing you see is this lounge area.

01:28And this consists of two chairs, a table, and also like a sofa bed.

01:34But yeah, it's a really cute, cute space.

01:36But then you think it's, oh, it's a lovely space.

01:40But then when you go to the patio section, which opens up like a Juliet balcony almost.

01:48It's really pretty.

01:49Look, I'm literally standing.

01:52And my eye, my eye view is literally, let me show you this.

01:56Now, these are limestone crags, I think.

02:02But we're on the room tour, on the second floor apartment.

02:08So it's, it's, it feels like I'm, I feel like I am in the Peak District.

02:13It's really pretty.

02:14I mean, it's raining now, but if it was sunnier, I think I probably would have pulled a chair out

02:21and, um, sat outside here on the balcony, um, sipping maybe an old-fashioned, um, or a coffee even.

02:29Um, but still, um, the rain isn't enough to hamper, um, our spirits.

02:37Um, so I'm back in the apartment now.

02:39Um, I know I've mentioned the cute artwork.

02:42And I love Willie Morris, um, designs, um, which kind of carries through to the cushions design.

02:49But also, um, I'm loving, absolutely loving, um, the bedroom space.

02:54Um, so the owner, um, has a real, um, eye for detail.

02:58Again, lovely swirly patterns.

03:00And I, I love cushions.

03:02I almost don't want to ruin the bed now because it just looks so pretty.

03:05But again, it's like the rooms are with a view.

03:08So I mentioned earlier, um, the, the, the lounge area, um, is a room with a view.

03:14And the bedroom also is a room with a view.

03:18So the bedroom area, the first thing you see is literally the most strong cracks.

03:22And, um, I just, it's a really comfortable, a luxe, um, really, really pretty place to be.

03:29So this is the bathroom.

03:34Um, yeah.

03:36And what I love about this place is it has underfloor heating.

03:40I have to show you my face because I love the heat.

03:43Um, and I love underfloor heating.

03:45So, you know, it's just a nice, nice touch.

03:48These little touches don't have to be here.

03:50Um, but they have been incorporated, um, by the owner.

03:53Um, and I'll just fire the floor.

03:56So, I will work with it.

03:57So, you know, the, the food layer.

03:57So, you know, the bedroom floor.

03:59So, you know, the , the noun floor things, one, the building is very important.

04:01So, I'm helping it.

04:02So, pretty much interior, which, uh, yeah.
