00:00Aonah is a very special song for me and that is why I think that my and Ayesha Bhusli
00:10Ji's collaboration has been made as an independent song for me and that was 25 years ago.
00:26I think it's a long time, but it's a long time.
00:29After that, we did a lot of other songs, but we didn't sing a single song for independent songs.
00:37So this was a great dream for us and for fans, it was a great dream for us to follow up.
00:50So I don't know who, of course, Ayesha Ji definitely doesn't have to be able to do anything with a routine.
01:06So we were waiting for us to be able to do anything with a good thing and a good thing with a good thing.
01:13So we were waiting for this kind of collaboration.
01:18So finally, this song came, it's a great fun song, it's a great song, it's a great song and it's a very cute song.
01:29So when Ayesha Ji listened to Ayesha Ji, it was a great song and we recorded it and it has turned out really, really well.
01:42And, you know, I hope people will love it as much as we did making it.
01:49Look, I think the most important thing in Sangeet, the most important thing is melody.
01:58And the most important thing is melody.
02:03The most important thing is melody.
02:06Styles change, genres change.
02:09Sometimes it comes to disco, hip-hop, house, trance, whatever it comes.
02:16These trends come, come, come, come, come, come.
02:20But the things that are evergreen are always melody.
02:24And that is why all the songs of the past, which were based on melody,
02:33and their origin of melody,
02:37they also like people.
02:40People sometimes reimagine them, recreate them, remix them, whatever you want to use.
02:46But the melody is that.
02:49You change the genre.
02:52The song that you have done in disco style, house style, hip-hop style.
02:58But the song that also likes people because its melody is strong.
03:03So I think that is one of the most important things that I have always learnt from my masters,
03:11that should be your foundation.
03:20And I think that's why those songs are still fresh today in people's minds and hearts.
03:27The point is that,
03:29a lot of the music has become very corporate driven.
03:39And corporates are involved in statistics.
03:44Because that's how they sell their products.
03:46Statistics, data, etc.
03:49Today they have also brought them to music.
03:53Music is not soap.
03:55Music is not, you know, a scissor.
04:00Music is a very different thing.
04:02It is connected with spirituality and God and it's connected with emotions.
04:06You can say today that we have a lot of statistics and data.
04:12That today they are listening to this age group.
04:15They are listening to this kind of songs.
04:17If you have such good data,
04:19which we didn't have before,
04:21then why don't you make a hit song?
04:24You have a lot of data.
04:26Then you should be able to create hits after hits.
04:29Then why aren't you?
04:31Because data is something that is there just to give you some kind of support.
04:37Okay, alright, okay, fine.
04:38Something I created is being liked in Delhi.
04:45And it's being liked in Delhi more than it is being liked in Chandigarh.
04:50But that is not going to dictate to you what the melody should be.
04:55There's no formula.
04:57And in that situation,
04:59you need to give the creative freedom to the music composers,
05:04to compose from their heart.
05:06Because when you listen to songs,
05:09you don't listen to them like that.
05:11If you listen to this song,
05:12then listen to the data.
05:13It's the statistics.
05:15Then listen to the statistics.
05:16Then listen to them.
05:17Then tell them how many songs are.
05:18Do you ever listen to them like that?
05:19No.
05:20It is because of a melody that comes and hits you.
05:25And that needs to be left to the people who are blessed in that field.
05:33You are a great businessman.
05:35You have your own department.
05:37Do that.
05:38Don't dictate to the melody makers how to do their job.
05:46So when there is interference,
05:48because they try to give data-driven advice,
05:52then the musicians or composers
05:55come into the pressure.
05:59And they say,
06:00if I don't do it,
06:01then it will go to someone else.
06:03Especially the new guys.
06:05So now,
06:06because they want to remain in the business,
06:11they end up listening to these guys.
06:13in the film,
06:14why do you sing a little song?
06:15Do you sing a little song?
06:16Do you sing a little song?
06:17Do you sing a little song?
06:18Do you sing a little song?
06:19Do you sing a little song?
06:20What is the reason?
06:21It is a lot of sense.
06:22It is a lot of sense.
06:23It is not a song.
06:24There is a beautiful saying that in music,
06:32the moment you start talking about money,
06:35God walks out of the room.
06:37And I think that is also one of the reasons
06:39that was your first question.
06:41That is also the answer.
06:42Because everything is so driven by money
06:45that sometimes people forget
06:47that it is not about money.
06:48Money will follow,
06:49but follow your heart first.
06:51And in that spirit,
06:56I will say,
06:57I do stuff that touches my heart.
07:01And I do stuff that touches my heart.
07:05And I don't think that
07:11that whoever comes,
07:13say,
07:14I will do it.
07:15I am not driven by that.
07:16I am driven by my own passion.
07:18When I feel like,
07:19when it comes from my heart,
07:21because I always say,
07:25music is a spiritual thing.
07:27If it comes from my heart,
07:29it will reach my heart.
07:31If it comes from my heart,
07:32it is not going to work.
07:36You know?
07:37So,
07:38I,
07:39I,
07:40I,
07:41I am a composer,
07:42I am a singer,
07:43I am an instrumentalist.
07:44Now,
07:45if you look at that,
07:46I have done a lot of work and what is that?
07:48What is the reason?
07:49Look,
07:50there are many departments,
07:52I am a composer,
07:53I am a singer,
07:54I am an instrumentalist.
07:56Now,
07:57if you go to all those things,
07:58I have given a focused time.
08:03I have done a time.
08:04If you look at it,
08:05I have done fusion albums also.
08:07Indian classical music albums also.
08:09I have done independent albums also.
08:11And then,
08:12film-gaanay bhi composed kiyen
08:14or sath mein film-gaanay bhi gaya hai
08:16toh agar aap dekha jaye
08:18I'm not just concentrating on one side
08:20ab zahir hai ki jab mein kisi
08:22agar mein classical instrumental ke taraf
08:24mein tawajjuh dhe raha hong
08:26toh ye walhe loog johin woh neglect feel karenge
08:28but I'm trying to service those people
08:30and work towards that
08:32you can I'm equally passionate about that
08:34toh us mein kabhi-kabhi gya hota hai ki
08:36joh commercial wale, joh
08:38department wale, woh kehengay ki
08:40jay ji aap zyada humare liye kam nahi kar rahe
08:42lekin mein unki liye kar rahe hong, achcha
08:44unka joh hai, woh kabhi-kabhi ye
08:46gila shikwa karthate ki, jay aap instrumental albums
08:48kam banaate hai pianoh pe
08:49please rada bho zyada kejye
08:51toh woh, I'm constantly trying to juggle
08:54but in the process
08:56I mean, it seems as if I'm not doing
08:58that much, but actually I am
09:00but I'm doing it in different
09:02fields, I'm not concentrating on just one side
09:04so
09:05aur mera, iska, karne ka
09:08ee cheez karne ki ek or bhi wajah hai
09:11ki, mein jab thoda asa bore ho jatou na kisi
09:14cheeze, mein majorly switch kar jata ho
09:15but I want to keep it fresh for myself
09:17and then I get, you know, I get a little
09:20saturated on this side and I say, right
09:22let's switch to something else
09:23so I keep jumping up and down
09:25I mean, bhout sarhi logon ke saath
09:26I've been very blessed
09:27I mean, mein hai
09:28of course, Aasha ji ke saath kia hai
09:31the late, wonderful Zakir Hussain
09:34belke
09:34Zakir Hussain Khansab ke saath
09:39toh meri pahli album 1986 mein
09:41woh unhi ke saath thi
09:43he was accompanying me on the tabla
09:45and that was my first album
09:47in 1986
09:48aur unke saath ek lagataar silsila chala ha raha hai
09:52and Acha phir Lata ji ke saath kia hai
09:56Pandit Hari Pesat Churasia ji ke saath kia hai
10:01bhout sarhi logon ke saath kia hai
10:02and I'm blessed because, you know, I've worked with virtually everybody in the industry
10:07and, um, uh, and it has been a complete delight, uh, you know

11:30aur aapni, mislake ki pyaar juh hai, woh, izhaar karne ka apna-apna tariqa hai
11:35chahe woh, uh, mumbai mein ho, chahe woh, dillii mein ho, chahe woh, kolkata mein ho, uh, uh, the love, or, or even in the south, I mean, uh, Chennai, Bangalore, I mean, Hyderabad, mislake ki, itna, mislake ki, uh,
11:52eeh, uh,
12:20uh,
12:20Honestly speaking, I really like three cities very much.
12:36Lakhnao, Delhi and Kolkata.
12:40I mean in particular.
12:42And when it comes to South, it has to be Chennai and Hyderabad.
12:47Do you have to say something about food?
12:51Mullah ki dor masjid tak?
12:54So this is your birth of the 15th August.
12:58Yes.
12:59Do you have to say something about your birth of the 14th August,
13:05the 14th August, the 15th August, the Indian.
13:08What does that mean?
13:09In Quran, there is a thing that says God is the best planner.
13:13So these things are ordained from above.
13:18And
13:20as you said,
13:22as you said,
13:23as you said,
13:25that my birth of the 14th August was the 14th August.
13:27But
13:2915th August was the only one.
13:31And
13:32this is the only one.
13:33And
13:34as you said,
13:35as you said,
13:36as you said,
13:37I don't know.
13:38I don't know.
13:39that's a big change.
13:40It's true.
13:41But
13:42today
13:43I think
13:44I think
13:45that
13:46this was a big thing.
13:48That
13:50that
13:52your future
13:54is there.
13:55And
13:56your life
13:58and your destiny
14:00is there.
14:02so like I said he is the greatest planner and nobody can nobody can question it and he has proven that time and again and I am extremely extremely grateful and happy that I came home.
14:19Dekhye, Saya to ma-baapka hamiesha rahta hai, chahe woh woh aapke saat physically hai yah nahi hai, jahaan tuk unke jahnne ka tahlok hai,
14:32jab woh zindha thay, to aah mein dunya ki dousre konye mein rahta tha, woh kisii or konye mein rahte thay,
14:41to physically hum ek saat nahi rah saktay thay, lekan phir hum phone pe ek dousre ke saat intouch rahte thay,
14:46kubhi kubhi mulaqat ho jatay thay. Ab jab unka intikal hoa hai, they are no longer, the way I look at it,
14:52they are no longer limited to their physical existence. Ab mughe aisa mhsous hoota ki woh hemiesha mere saat hai.
15:00Unki rooh joh hai, woh hemiesha mere saat hai. Unki, un, woh zindha hai mere anndar. Unki, unki joh,
15:11aah pahain tih ji, ji orangenei hem ko spikhaii, juイ nume NEW kaji tullen kuате,
15:17je orangenei taul ke 2001 en vaghiesome ta itu,
