The national Palestine Solidarity Campaign has called three mass mobilisations against the arms trade with Israel, specifically the F-35 fighter jet supply chain on Tuesday 17th June 2025

00:10Well, this is another component of a whole series of protests we've been organising nationally in towns and cities across the UK since Israel unleashed in October 2023.
00:21What is accepted by the world's highest court, the International Court of Justice, as a plausible case of genocide, is recognised by human rights organisations like Amnesty International as a case of genocide, a genocide that so far has killed at least 55,000 Palestinians with many, many thousands more buried under the rubble, has devastated all means of the infrastructure of life inside Gaza.
00:47And obviously for three months since March, we had a new dimension, a barbaric dimension of this genocide as Israel imposed a complete siege on Gaza, not allowing any food, any water, any essential supplies to go in.
01:04And that's left the Palestinians on the brink of starvation.
01:08Right now, in Gaza, 2,700 Palestinian infants are receiving treatment for acute malnutrition, with many, many thousands more also facing the risk of acute malnutrition.
01:23And despite all of this, none of this has been a red line for our government to take action.
01:30And one of the key aspects of its complicity in supporting this genocide is its ongoing military cooperation, but its selling of weapons to Israel.
01:39Now, today, there are three protests, important protests happening across the country.
01:43One here in Havent, one in Sheffield and one in Rochester.
01:48We are protesting outside factories that are supplying the parts for the F-35 jets that Israel is using to rain devastation and havoc upon the people of Gaza.
02:00We are going to be marching to the Lockheed Martin factory.
02:03We know that it has sent seven shipments of supplies of parts for the F-35s to enable Israel to continue with its genocide since October 2023.
02:15So this is part of the demand for an arms embargo.
02:18But we're bringing that demand right to the gates of the companies that are actually the merchants of death right now, who are actually supplying the parts to Israel.
02:27And we do so knowing that the demands that we're making for a full arms embargo are supported by the majority of British people.
02:34An opinion poll for the Palestine Solidarity Campaign Commission two weeks ago showed that by a margin of four to one, the British public support the demand for a full arms embargo.
