00:00Tosui's Zen is complete. Doesn't matter what is happening. Three years back, he was a glorified
00:04teacher. Right now, he's a beggar living under a bridge. Not only is he living under the bridge,
00:09one of the fellow beggars has just died. But how does it matter? He was peaceful when he was the
00:13teacher. He was peaceful when he was the beggar. And he is peaceful even when somebody has died
00:19in the vicinity. He goes and buries the body, comes back and peacefully sleeps. In the morning,
00:23he wakes up and says, chill, the dead one has left some food for us. No need to beg today. The
00:27student is comfortable only in the role of the student. The teacher is comfortable even when
00:32he is not role playing as the teacher. And that really is the genuine teacher. Are you getting it?
00:37The teacher is always with the one who is beyond all roles and is yet the source of all roles. And
00:44that blesses the teacher with the fantastic freedom to take on all roles. The teacher remains a teacher
00:50even when he is a beggar. Unfortunately, the student starts becoming uncomfortable when he is a beggar.
00:56And that is why the teacher is the teacher and the student is the student.
