00:00There's a major breaking story coming out of America at the moment where major media outlets

00:05are reporting that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, was planning an assassination of

00:12the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and that President Trump intervened and blocked it

00:19and said you will not do this for fear that this would set an already troubled region further

00:25alight. First reported by Reuters and Associated Press, interestingly Fox News is now reporting it

00:32as fact, saying that it's been confirmed from White House sources. They are close to the White House so

00:37that's why that report I think has credibility. Quite extraordinary story really to think that

00:44the Israelis were planning to assassinate the spiritual leader, the supreme leader of Iran

00:50and whatever Iran's response is at the moment, having been to Iran in recent years, I think that

00:57any such assassination would have seriously, dramatically escalated this. Their sense in

01:03America at the moment, they're trying to have plausible deniability and saying essentially

01:08it's not our fight, it's between Israel and Iran. However, they're warning that if a single American

01:14is killed, there's a lot of American soldiers through parts of Iraq, Syria and other places in

01:18the Middle East, then we will come in very forcefully. So it will dramatically escalate, according

01:25to Donald Trump, if an American is killed.
