In a surprising diplomatic twist, Vladimir Putin is reportedly offering Iran a strategic off-ramp through backchannel diplomacy involving Donald Trump ☎️🕊️. As the situation in the Middle East escalates, the U.S. quietly shifts missile supplies away from Ukraine, signaling a shifting priority from Eastern Europe to the Persian Gulf 🌍. Meanwhile, President Zelensky expresses frustration, claiming that the world is no longer paying attention to Ukraine’s struggle 🇺🇦💔. Alex Christoforou breaks down this geopolitical shuffle and its long-term consequences — only on Forbidden News.

00:00You know, we haven't had an American president since Abraham Lincoln
00:03that's had to do what President Zelensky's done.
00:06President Zelensky is fighting a war of national survival on his own soil.
00:11And that's what Abraham Lincoln did.
00:13And fight first, fight for on your own soil,
00:16for national survival and national sovereignty.
00:20And you have to, when you see that, you have to appreciate
00:22the issues that they're facing right now on the ground.
00:26And I think sometimes we don't.
00:28This is my video update on this Sunday afternoon, June the 15th.
00:37Coming to you from Larnaca, Cyprus.
00:41Let's talk about some news.
00:46And let's start things off with the conflict between Iran and Israel.
00:54I am not going to get into the details of the strikes that have been taking place over the past 24 hours.
01:06Iran is hitting Israel.
01:11Israel is hitting Iran.
01:14They're just trading blows at the moment.
01:18Iranian missiles are hitting oil depots.
01:22For example, they knocked out an oil depot in Haifa.
01:26And Israel is hitting oil depots in Iran.
01:32And they're both going after military facilities.
01:35And there are now a lot of casualties,
01:41civilian casualties that are mounting up from these strikes.
01:46And things are escalating in a very, very bad way.
01:56Iran, yesterday, they did hit a research center.
02:00They hit the Wiseman Institute of Science, located in the southeast of Tel Aviv.
02:15And the claims are that this was in retaliation for Israel going after the nuclear scientists of Iran.
02:30Hypersonic missiles.
02:31Iran's using hypersonic missiles as well.
02:35And the Iron Dome is simply unable to deal with the hypersonic missiles.
02:45There's no answer for the hypersonic missiles.
02:51But that's the situation of what's going on right now, at least militarily.
02:58There are a lot of channels and accounts that you can follow, especially on Telegram and on X,
03:04that we'll get into the details of what's happening and what's being hit.
03:10And they'll have videos and all of that stuff.
03:15So there's really no need for me to go over all of these things.
03:20Let's talk about the phone call between Putin and Trump.
03:27It looks like Putin called Trump this time around.
03:33He initiated the call.
03:35And the excuse was that it's Trump's birthday, or it was Trump's birthday, his 79th birthday.
03:44And Putin called him to wish him a happy birthday.
03:48And then they talked a little bit about Ukraine and mostly about Israel and Iran.
03:55And Trump, he posted on Truth Social.
04:01So this is the White House readout.
04:03The White House readout is now whatever Trump posts on Truth Social.
04:07And I'll get into what the Kremlin said about this call in a minute.
04:11But Trump posted, President Putin called this morning to very nicely wish me a happy birthday.
04:19But to more importantly, talk about Iran, a country he knows very well.
04:24A country he knows very well.
04:27Important statement from Trump.
04:29We talked at length.
04:31Much less time was spent talking about Russia-Ukraine.
04:34But that will be for next week.
04:36He is doing the planned prisoner swaps.
04:39Large numbers of prisoners are being exchanged immediately from both sides.
04:43The call lasted approximately one hour.
04:46He feels, as I do, this war in Israel-Iran should end.
04:51To which I explained, his war should also end.
04:55But, that last sentence is also interesting.
05:03He feels, as do I, he feels, as do I, this war in Israel-Iran should end.
05:12To which I explained, his war should also end.
05:16His war.
05:18The war that the U.S. provoked.
05:21You mean Trump?
05:22The war that was Biden's, but is now yours?
05:25Is that what you're talking about?
05:27Anyway, that was the message from Trump.
05:34I have a feeling that Putin called Trump to give Trump an off-ramp.
05:42Putin loves to give Trump off-ramps.
05:44Trump never takes the off-ramps.
05:47But Putin does give the off-ramps to Trump.
05:49And I think that he called Trump.
05:52And he said that the way out of this is for the U.S. to tell Israel to negotiate with Russia.
06:02Russia can negotiate with Iran.
06:04Trump is not going to be able to talk to Iran.
06:07Russia can talk to Iran.
06:09Russia can talk to the United States.
06:11Russia can talk to Israel.
06:12The United States should tell Israel to back down.
06:15Russia can tell Iran, let's de-escalate back down.
06:20The conflict ends up in a draw, let's say.
06:23And that's that.
06:25I believe that was the purpose of the call.
06:29Will Trump take this off-ramp?
06:33Probably not.
06:35Probably not.
06:36Most likely not.
06:37But it is the way out of this.
06:41And we've got to get out of this early.
06:43We're three days into this conflict.
06:47And the more this goes on, the harder it's going to be to de-escalate.
06:52The harder it's going to be to end the war.
06:55The war can end now.
06:56And it could be called a draw.
06:58Each side can claim victory.
06:59Israel can claim victory.
07:01Iran can claim victory.
07:02But it can be over.
07:05And we could move away from what could be a very dangerous regional war.
07:14And perhaps even a world war.
07:17Because the longer this continues, the more likely the U.S. will get involved.
07:26Openly involved in the conflict.
07:28And I don't mean boots on the ground.
07:29I'm talking about U.S. fighter jets and U.S. missiles.
07:36And U.S. ships launching those missiles.
07:39And then Iran's retaliation against the U.S.
07:43And if the U.S. does get involved, which would be very dangerous for Iran,
07:49then why should China or Russia not get involved on the side of Iran?
07:55Why would they let Iran fall?
07:57Well, especially China, when you think about it, because Iran is very important to China.
08:05I don't know how China and Russia can help Iran.
08:09I don't know if they have, well, they definitely don't have the ability that the U.S. has to project power.
08:16But China and Russia can provide Iran with intel, with weapons, missiles, these types of things.
08:30I imagine they can help Iran with.
08:33So it's better to end this now.
08:40It's better to end this now.
08:43Unfortunately, I don't think that's what's going to happen, because I don't think Trump's ego and the people around Trump will allow him to take this off-ramp.
08:51But this really puts into context the post from Lindsey Graham the other day, doesn't it, when he posted on X?
08:58I talked about this in my video update yesterday.
09:00It was my clown world where he warned China and India.
09:03But in that message, the first part of that message was Lindsey Graham basically saying,
09:08no way are we going to allow Russia to mediate.
09:11I think the neocons and Lindsey Graham, who is the foreign policy president of the United States, foreign policy president Lindsey Graham,
09:17I think that they got wind of perhaps a possibility that Putin can mediate and bring this conflict to an end.
09:26And if there's anybody that can use diplomacy and bring this conflict to an end, it is Putin, it is Lavrov, it is Russia.
09:32They have the ability, they have the diplomacy to bring this conflict to an end, and they have influence and can talk to Iran,
09:41and they can talk to Israel, and they can talk to the United States.
09:47I think that Lindsey Graham sent that message yesterday, basically warning Trump,
09:54don't you dare allow Putin to mediate this to some sort of a settlement.
10:00Trump also posted, after he posted the readout on the phone call with Putin, he then posted on Truth Social,
10:09the U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran tonight.
10:14If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. armed forces
10:20will come down on you at levels never seen before.
10:23However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel and end this bloody conflict.
10:33I worry about a false flag when I read statements like this.
10:37I worry about a false flag to draw the U.S. deep into this conflict.
10:42So, the Russian statement on the phone call between Putin and Trump,
10:52this is from Yuri Ushakov, the Russian presidential aide.
10:57He called the conversation meaningful, frank, and most importantly, very useful.
11:03Putin condemned Israel's strikes on Friday,
11:06particularly noting that they occurred just before nuclear negotiations between Iran and the U.S.
11:13scheduled for June 15th, he said.
11:16Despite such a complicated situation,
11:19the Russian and American presidents didn't rule out a return to the negotiating track
11:24on the Iranian nuclear program, Putin's aide added.
11:27It's very clear, very clear that Putin told Trump,
11:36I can get you out of this mess.
11:39Because the way things are looking, Israel cannot defeat Iran.
11:45Actually, Israel pretty much admitted that on their own, or with the limited help,
11:49let's say with the help that they're getting right now from the United States,
11:53Israel cannot defeat Iran.
11:55I'm not saying Iran's going to win if this continues,
12:00but at the moment, neither side can deliver a knockout blow.
12:06And the more this conflict continues, it definitely tilts in Iran's favor,
12:12unless, of course, the United States gets fully involved.
12:18Then we're heading towards a big regional conflict and the world conflict.
12:23But Israel is admitting as much that they can't deliver the quick knockout blow to Iran.
12:33And Axios actually reported that Israel urges the U.S. to join war with Iran
12:38to eliminate nuclear program.
12:40So it's basically an admission that they can't do it without the United States.
12:47From what I understand,
12:50the excuse that they're using now is that they want to hit,
12:54they want to hit
12:56an enrichment site.
13:01I forgot the name for Fordow, I believe.
13:08It's a fuel enrichment facility in Iran.
13:11And they need a bunker busters.
13:14One sec.
13:14One sec.
13:15Let me see if I have the name.
13:16Yeah.
13:16Fordow.
13:17Fordow fuel enrichment plant,
13:19which needs U.S. bunker busters.
13:21And Israel is now using this as the bait to try and get the U.S. openly involved,
13:32fully involved in this regime change operation.
13:36Because they're realizing that they don't have what it takes to get the regime change done.
13:42Not with the current amount of help that they're getting from the United States.
13:46It's not enough.
13:47They need more.
13:48They need the U.S.
13:50They need the U.S. to fight Iran.
13:53That's what they need.
13:54So that's what they're basically trying to do.
13:57They're saying they need to hit this fuel enrichment plant.
14:01And they need U.S. bunker busters.
14:06So yeah, Putin is trying to tell Trump we need to end this
14:13before things get really out of hand.
14:15And before other countries get drawn in.
14:18So according to Axios, the Trump administration, when they were asked by Israel to get involved,
14:31at this time the Trump administration said no.
14:35And they said they want to create some distance.
14:36But another administration official spoke to Axios and told them that the U.S. is not closing the door on getting involved in this conflict.
14:50Really, really getting involved in this conflict.
14:52They're going to leave the door open.
14:56That really worries me about a false flag.
14:59This has all of the dynamics for some sort of an operational false flag to take place in order to pull the U.S. fully into the conflict.
15:10So what else?
15:16There were rumors yesterday that Iran was considering reports.
15:21They were considering closing the Strait of Hormuz.
15:23This was coming, actually, from Reuters.
15:28They were reporting this.
15:31So Reuters reporting that a member, I believe a member in the Iranian parliament,
15:38told them that closing the Strait of Hormuz is a possibility,
15:43which would be catastrophic for the world.
15:48That would be catastrophic for the entire world economy.
15:55But I don't think we're there yet.
15:57I think that's going to be one of the last options for Iran.
16:01If the U.S. were to get really involved in this,
16:04like if the U.S. said, OK, we're jumping in,
16:06we're going to start flying our fighter jets and sending missiles into Iran,
16:11and we're going to push hard for a regime change,
16:15then I think the Strait of Hormuz would definitely be on the table.
16:19Ouch. Oh, that hurt that car.
16:22Man, that car just got hurt going down that curb.
16:27Ouch, ouch, ouch.
16:31So what else?
16:33The Chinese foreign ministry said that China supports Tehran
16:36in defending its legitimate rights and interests.
16:37I already talked about that, yeah?
16:39If the U.S. gets involved,
16:41then China could get involved and Russia could get involved.
16:46Iran is a member of BRICS.
16:48Pete Hegseth.
16:50He said yesterday, he was speaking to reporters,
16:54and Pete Hegseth said that the United States has diverted,
16:59I believe, I forgot the number, a lot.
17:03I forgot the number.
17:03I want to say 2,000, but I'm not sure.
17:06Anyway, he diverted a lot of air defense missiles from Ukraine to the Middle East, to Israel.
17:16And one of the questions was asked is, hey, did you move some of your counter-UAS,
17:23counter-unmanned aerial systems defenses from Ukraine to the Middle East?
17:28To which I answered, yes, we did.
17:29An amazing admission from Pete Hegseth, huh?
17:33What does that tell you?
17:35What does that tell you?
17:37Well, Will Shriver has some thoughts on this.
17:40He posted on X.
17:41Pentagon Chief Greasy Pete Hegseth confirms that the U.S. has moved American air defense assets
17:49from Ukraine to U.S. bases in the Persian Gulf.
17:53This strongly suggests two things.
17:55Dwindling U.S. inventory of air defense.
17:58True.
17:59And U.S. forces were always in control of U.S. air defense in Ukraine.
18:03Doubly true.
18:04So, very good point.
18:07Very, very good point there.
18:13It's not that sunny of a day, but people are still at the beach.
18:19It is a Sunday.
18:25So, should we make a move to Project Ukraine?
18:29A little bit of Project Ukraine in connection with what's happening in the Middle East?
18:37Because Churchill, number two, he is complaining.
18:44He is complaining that all of the attention, the media attention, the weapons, the weapons deliveries,
18:52and the money, it is all going to the Middle East.
19:01And he's actually starting to openly complain about this.
19:06What about, what about us?
19:10Olenskiy is saying.
19:12And honestly, the media is not covering Ukraine that much either.
19:18And we're not covering Ukraine that much either, to be fair.
19:29So, Olenskiy is realizing that he's in a big mess.
19:36He's saying that sanctions have to be placed on Russia, bone-crushing sanctions, ASAP,
19:44because the oil price is surging.
19:50Just last week, Ursula and stunning and brave Kaya Kalis were saying that they are going to put a $45 price cap
20:02on Russian oil from $60, the $60 price cap, which worked so well, right?
20:10They're going to lower that to $45.
20:12And they were very proud of the fact that they are going to bring Putin's war machine to heel, right?
20:21I want to catch that ball, man.
20:24Oh, my God.
20:27There we go.
20:29Got it.
20:30That's all I wanted to do.
20:31I just wanted to catch that ball.
20:35Anyway, yeah, now Olenskiy is saying that this is bad because the oil price is surging.
20:42And we know what country starts making more and more money when the oil price surges.
20:49The Russian military, they continue to hammer Ukraine,
20:54and they hammer Ukraine's military facilities and drone manufacturing facilities.
20:59Just let me know, guys.
21:01If someone steals my bag, let me know.
21:04All right.
21:06Yeah, they launched big strikes yesterday into Poltava and into an area close to Poltava.
21:14Actually, a city right on the Dnieper called Kremenchuk.
21:18And they really, really hammered it with Kalibra, Iskandar's, and lots of drones.
21:27And there were big fires, big explosions.
21:30Russia hit something very, very big in Kremenchuk.
21:33And this is on the Dnieper.
21:36And when you look at a map, I was looking at a map this morning just to get a better idea where Kremenchuk is in Poltava.
21:44Man, Kremenchuk is right on the Dnieper.
21:47And it's in the Dnieper area.
21:49Poltava, Dnieper, Kremenchuk.
21:52It's all there.
21:54If Russia gets to the Dnieper at that point on the map,
21:58and they continue to move down from Sumy,
22:03I mean, it's over for Ukraine.
22:04It is absolutely over. The war is over.
22:06Alensky has to leave and go into exile,
22:08because I don't see how Ukraine can exist as a state, as a functioning nation.
22:15Anyway, what else?
22:17The Lithuanian president, he's also sounding the alarm bells about the price of oil.
22:24That's what concerns the European Union, huh?
22:26That's what concerns Alensky, is the price of oil,
22:29and that Russia's going to make money off of what's happening in the Middle East.
22:32That's what concerns them.
22:34Russia on their brain, 24 hours a day.
22:37The Baltics and the Green Goblin.
22:40Ursula spoke to Trump after Trump spoke with Putin,
22:44and Ursula basically told Trump the same thing.
22:47Let's not forget about Russia and Ukraine.
22:49Don't forget about Russia and Ukraine.
22:51Trump's like, man, I'm already in a big mess with the Middle East, with Iran.
22:56I thought we were going to knock out Iran early, but we're not going to knock out Iran early.
23:01That's what Trump is saying.
23:03Similar to Russia, isn't it?
23:05What the neocons promise the Trump administration, and what they sell Trump on, and the people around Trump, and the American people.
23:16What they sell the American people when it comes to Russia and Ukraine.
23:20What did they sell everybody on?
23:22That Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country.
23:24Putin will be overthrown in a matter of months.
23:2816,000 sanctions, and Putin's gone, and it didn't work out like that.
23:33And they're selling the same thing when it comes to Iran.
23:36Iran is weak.
23:37Iran's going to be knocked out quickly.
23:39Maybe Israel will be able to knock out Iran.
23:43No worries.
23:43We'll just give Israel some support.
23:45We'll give them some missiles.
23:46We'll give them some intel.
23:48We'll give them whatever support they need.
23:50We'll say that we're not openly involved in this conflict.
23:53We're not involved in this conflict, so we stay at a distance.
23:56And let Israel do the heavy lifting, and they'll knock out Iran early.
23:59They'll decapitate the leadership, and it'll be over.
24:02We'll then get the Juan Guaido in as the president of Iran, the Shah's son, who's the latest iteration of Juan Guaido.
24:11Juan Guaido is like Doctor Who.
24:14It's like, just keeps on regenerating.
24:17You get a new Juan Guaido every few months.
24:21Now it's the Shah's son.
24:22Anyway, what was I saying?
24:24Vandermath.
24:25Vandermath called Trump.
24:27She said, don't forget about Russia and Ukraine.
24:30Let's get a trade deal signed by July.
24:35And that was the phone call.
24:36And we are getting reports that Vandermath is also upset about everything that's happening in the Middle East.
24:43And she's upset because no one is consulting with the European Union.
24:48The United States is not consulting with the EU on the moves it's making in the Middle East.
24:55Why would the United States consult with the vassal?
25:00Why would they consult with the vassal?
25:01What is the vassal going to tell the United States?
25:07Ridiculous, man.
25:08Anyway, that's Vandermath.
25:11We have the G7, which has started.
25:13The G7 has started up.
25:15And the reports are from Politico that the six countries in the G7 are very upset with Trump.
25:24And Politico is saying that this event in Canada, hosted in Canada by Mr. Carney, is the G6, takes on Trump.
25:36Right?
25:37The G7 becomes G6 plus Trump.
25:42If I was Trump, I would just pull out.
25:44I would just say, you know what?
25:46If you guys want to make it out as if it's U6 against me, against the United States, well then fine.
25:51I'm taking my ball.
25:53I'm going to take my ball and I'm out of here.
25:56Then we'll see what they do.
25:58The G6.
25:59They can then rebrand the G6 into the what?
26:02Into the L6.
26:04The L6.
26:05The losing six.
26:07Maybe Ukraine can take the place of the United States.
26:12So it can still stay the G6.
26:15Or maybe the G7.
26:17So Ukraine takes the place of the U.S.
26:20It remains the G7.
26:21Or maybe you call it the GG7.
26:25The Green Goblin 7.
26:26Oh, man.
26:34Air Austria.
26:37Air Austria.
26:38My bag is still there.
26:39Good, good, good, good.
26:41Good, good, good.
26:42What else?
26:43There are photos of Keir Stahmer with Carney.
26:47In Canada.
26:50They're drinking a pint.
26:52Just everyday guys.
26:54Just a bunch of regular chaps.
26:57Stahmer 008 and Carney.
26:59Hanging out.
27:00Drinking a beer.
27:02Talking politics.
27:03Oh, what else?
27:06What else?
27:08Trump had the parade yesterday.
27:10Marking his birthday.
27:12And marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.
27:15A lot of people are making fun of the parade because it wasn't exactly like, say, May 9th.
27:24It wasn't at that level.
27:26It wasn't even close.
27:26But look, it's the first parade.
27:29Give it another 80 years and it'll probably get to the level of May 9th.
27:33But it was, it was, it was, it was all right.
27:37I mean, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna bash on it.
27:39It was what it was.
27:40I just think the timing of it.
27:42Okay.
27:42I understand it's the 250th anniversary of the Army.
27:46And so that's what it was timed to commemorate.
27:50But I don't know.
27:52I don't think it was a good, a good idea to have the parade.
27:55Maybe they should have postponed it for a couple of weeks.
27:58At least until, at least until, or hopefully, hopefully, the conflict in the Middle East,
28:06at least the conflict in the Middle East gets solved.
28:09And, and the protests in the United States, the, what is it?
28:13The day of, what's the protest called?
28:15The Day of Kings?
28:16No, the, the No Kings March.
28:18You also had the No Kings March taking place and that got violent.
28:22That got, that got very violent as well.
28:25Los Angeles, Salt Lake City.
28:28But it probably would have been a better idea if you just postponed it for a couple of weeks.
28:33And if I was the Trump administration, I would just, I would advise Trump, man,
28:36just take Putin's freaking off-ramp.
28:39Just, just let Putin mediate this thing.
28:43Completely pull out.
28:45Tell Israel, whatever Putin tells you, let's, let's just do it.
28:50And let's sign the JCPOA with, with no time limit.
28:56Russia's there to guarantee things and just end this conflict.
28:59It's not going to happen.
29:00I'm dreaming, I know.
29:01But anyway, probably should have delayed.
29:04Parade, this parade a couple of weeks because it didn't look good as protests are going on.
29:10The, the No King, the No Kings March is going on.
29:13You have, you have the Trump foreign policy in absolute tatters, tatters.
29:18It didn't look good.
29:20And the parade was not, it was not so impressive to be quite honest.
29:24Anyway, let's do some, some clown worlds and we can wrap up today's video.
29:28And the first flat, the first clown world has to deal with flag day, a flag day post from the department of defense,
29:37where they have two flags on this image.
29:41And the pro-Ukraine accounts on social media are very upset because they say that these two flags, the colors, red, white, and blue, are, are the Russian flags.
29:51And it does look like the Russian flag, but the colors of the U.S. flag are also red, white, and blue.
29:55But, but in this image, it does look like the Russian flag.
29:58And so the pro-Ukraine accounts, they're having an absolute spasm and hissy fit about this.
30:04That's the first clown world.
30:06And, and what else?
30:09And we had a post from the BBC, the always reliable, excellent news source known as, uh, as the British Broadcasting Clown Show.
30:19They posted, was Iran months away from producing a nuclear bomb?
30:25This was posted on X and one sec.
30:30Only got two hands and I don't want to drop the phone.
30:33And, uh, and there was, there was a community note underneath this post, which said, for context,
30:42Iran has been months away from producing a nuclear bomb since 1979,
30:47before even the Islamic revolution, according to a collection of claims and accusations.
30:53So the BBC basically got community noted big time.
30:56Yeah, give me a break.
31:00The, the narrative that Iran is days away from a nuclear weapon.
31:05It's been like that since 1979.
31:07Remember, uh, Netanyahu's speech to the UN General Assembly,
31:10where he had that, that, uh, roadrunner, Wali Coyote, Acme picture of a bomb?
31:17Remember that, that speech?
31:19That was like 12 years ago or 15 years ago.
31:22And he was talking, and in that speech, Netanyahu said in that speech that Iran is weeks away
31:28from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
31:32In that speech from 12 or 15 years ago.
31:37Anyway, that's the video, everybody.
