00:00Mike Burroughs, he faces off against the 2019 version of Matthew Boyd, who's pitching for the
00:08Cubs today. And then on Sunday, it is Mitch Keller. He's been a tough luck loser this season
00:13also. I think his record is like 1-10 or something crazy like that. And speaking of 2019 version,
00:20if I'm not mistaken, Colin Ray was pitching back in 2016. So it is throwback weekend in Chicago.
00:28I don't know how the Cubs are doing this with these guys.
00:31Boyd looks pretty good, by the way. He's still on your way. You should be going to grab him.
00:35He should have been gone long ago here. Listen, we know Pirates can't score. Cubs can't score.
00:39Blah, blah, blah. So you're taking your Cubbies here. You're right about Mitch Keller, right?
00:44He has really pitched up. All the Pirates pitched in bad luck. You all know his stats from Paul
00:49Skeen's been brought up all week. They just don't score any runs for this guy. If he doesn't know
00:53a shutout, he doesn't win. It's really just that simple here. And by the way, you can make
00:56it hard, but in a non-keeper, non-dynacy, you should trade Paul Skeen's. He's not helping
01:01you in wins anyway. He might be the pitcher that gets you something really good with someone
01:04who wants to believe that he gets you wins in the second half.
01:10We've got the Marlins and Nationals this weekend. And today, it looks like Kate Gibson
01:16is going to start. So that's an opener for Miami. Beloso, who sometimes makes spot starts
01:23for them pitch last night. So I don't know how they're going to bulk this thing today.
01:27But Trevor Williams, he has not been good for the Nationals. He starts on Saturday in
01:32an early game. And then Sunday, Yuri Perez made his first start of the season this past
01:36week. It wasn't great. Mackenzie Gore, Washington will be a huge favorite on Sunday, I think,
01:43with Gore pitching there. But we could be in for some runs. Hot weather, based on how many
01:49runs last night? Like 19 runs, George? Maybe offense is on tap this weekend.
01:54The funny thing, we don't have hot weather here. We have rainy weather in Northeast,
01:57right? They still scored a million runs yesterday. I mean, listen, I'm not allowed to make any
02:03more Washington Nationals jokes. I've been threatened here on the network. So Washington Nationals
02:07are a great team. They are fantastic. James Woods, next MVP. Listen, I'd like to match it tomorrow.
02:14I am interested to see if Perez can pitch better in his second start than he did his first start.
02:17Gore likely to be an MVP candidate. That's not me being nice, by the way. I'm sorry,
02:22an all-star game candidate for the Washington Nationals. So I'd like tomorrow's game more
02:27than today's game. So I'm interested in Perez, Craig. I want to see him. Can he be that guy
02:31that, you know, at one point last year, I really thought he might be. He's a guy I believe in.
02:35So I'm definitely much more interested in tomorrow's game than today's.
02:39The Phillies are huge favorites today. Christopher Sanchez pitches for them against
02:43Bowdoin Francis. And then Sunday, should be a good pitching matchup. Jose Barrios
02:48against Zach Wheeler.
02:52You know, Blue Jays have been playing very well lately, right? Very well. Got themselves back
02:56in contention in the American League East. Yeah, I don't like today's chances for them either. I
03:00think Francis is going to get crushed here. And then tomorrow, I mean, Barrios has pitched
03:04better of late here. Then you go against Zach Wheeler. They missed him in Toronto because he was
03:07on the paternity list. He's back here. Boy, Toronto could be in a little dead danger of getting
03:12swept here. I lost 8-0 last night. Gossman got wrecked. So it may not be a very good weekend
03:17in Philadelphia for the Toronto Blue Jays.
