03:11And earlier, Iran denounced the United States' complicity in the new Israeli aggression against Iranian territory
03:25before the United Nations Security Council during an extraordinarization convened by Tehran.
03:30Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Said Iravani, stressed that the Security Council must condemn Israeli aggression against Iran
03:37in the strongest possible terms.
03:39In this regard, he stressed that anything else would mean the collapse of the international system,
03:43an invitation to chaos, and silence would be equivalent to participating in this crime.
03:48The ambassador and permanent representative of Iran emphasized that Israel carried out a series of coordinated
03:54and previously planned military attacks against several cities in the Persian country,
03:58taking full advantage of the intelligence and political support of the United States.

05:25preventing residents from returning to their houses to inspect the damage or retrieve personal belongings.

05:41following an exchange of internal airstrikes between the two countries that killed dozens of civilians.
05:45Through an audience in St. Peter's Basilica, the Supreme Pontiff wished to vigorously renew his call for responsibility and reason.
05:52These days we are getting news that is causing great concern.
05:59The situation in Iran and Israel has seriously deteriorated.
06:06At a delicate moment, I wish to renew with force a heartfelt appeal to responsibility and reason.
06:12The commitment to build in a safer world, free from the threat of nuclear weapons, must be pursued through respectful engagement and sincere dialogue.
06:41The foundations upon which to build lasting peace, rooted in justice, fraternity, and the common good.

14:54In the United States, massive protests against Donald Trump's anti-migrant policies are expected on Saturday.
14:59Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonald said they expect an unprecedented amount of people demonstrated on Saturday,
15:05which will be the ninth day of protests against the militarization of the city,
15:09and the current administration's xenophobic policies,
15:11giving popular pressure against the recent arrests made by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
15:16The Trump administration has ordered a post on raids against workers in agriculture, restaurants and hotels.
15:23And also in the United States, the Central District Court of Tennessee held the first hearing of Kilmer Abrego Garcia,
15:38who pleaded not guilty to allegedly smoking undocumented migrants.
15:42Abrego, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador three months ago,
15:45pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to illegally transport undocumented migrants for financial gain.
15:50The defense asked the District Court of Maryland for sanctions against the Trump administration
15:55under the Federal Civic Procedure Law for the government's repeated violations of its obligations,
16:00containing the Supreme Court ruling that required facilitating his return.
16:04Abrego's wife, Jennifer Básquez Soura, declared that Abrego Garcia became one of the more than 200 victims of President Trump's offensive.
16:17Meanwhile in Brazil, Federal Police arrested Gilson Machado, former Minister of Tourism,
16:22suspected of trying to facilitate the escape of Mauro Cid, former aide-de-camp of Jair Bolsonaro.
16:27Gilson Machado testified to police about an alleged failed attempt to help Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid,
16:33Bolsonaro's former right-hand man, flee the country moments before his arrest.
16:37Machado stressed that he had only called the consulate with the intention of scheduling the renew of his father's passport.
16:43Following the investigation, Federal Police alleged that they found files on Cid's cell phone
16:47showing that Bolsonaro's former aide-de-camp also tried in January 2023 to obtain Portuguese citizenship.
16:57And reparations and dignity measures for the Mayaachi women of Rabinal arrived late and are at risk of non-compliance
17:07due to appeals filed after the sentencing of three former police officers to 40 years in prison
17:12for sexual violence during the military dictatorship.
17:15These two members of the Ash women's case survived by weeding nuts, from palm, leaves, while they wait for reparations,
17:25and justice for the crimes against humanity they suffered more than four decades ago.
17:29Every day they face countless struggles, not only economic, but also distance, poverty, illness, and most are over 60 years old.
17:44In this case, the high-risk court granted 18 of the 26 individual, and collective remedies requested,
17:53whose objective is to transform the conditions of poverty resulting from state dictatorship.
17:58So that women feel secure, have their own house, and land to plant, and live on.
18:05Then I consider that these are the most important, apart from various other measures, that have been planned.
18:11One of the women still remembers, how the army destroyed her life.
18:15Not only did it take her husband away from her, but it also condemned her to exile from her village in Zococ, Rabinal Baja Virpaz, where she has led a wandering life.
18:25I'm just visiting my sister's house, I'm living at my niece's house.
18:30The popular law firm of Rabinal warns, that the lack of political will, and legal technicalities could hinder the case, affecting the implementation of the 18 accepted reparation measures.
18:43The judge stated that there is an appeal against that challenge incident, therefore, we consider that these repairs will take about a year, more or less, a year and a half, for it to be, let's say, final.
18:56The Ash Women case is a criminal proceeding that began more than 15 years ago, and resulted in a 40-year, prison, sentence, for three former patrolmen, revealing the use of sexual violence, as a weapon of war.
19:09The historical clarification report indicates that the municipality of Rabinal, Baja Virpaz, was another of the localities cruelly affected during the military dictatorship, with more than 30 recognized massacres, that were influenced by the United States' national security doctrine.
19:25Santiago BotĂłn, Telesur, Guatemala.
19:30And this June 14th, we commemorate the 97th anniversary of the birth of Ernesto Che Guevara, a key figure in the history of Latin America.
19:38Born in Argentina on June 14th, 1928, Ernesto Guevara de la Serna became a man who stood out for the principles he expounded, and above all, for acting in full correspondence with what he stated in this respect.
19:53Already from the stage of the liberation struggle in Cuba, he was concerned about having means that would contribute to explain to the people the objective for which they were fighting, and also to spread the truth about how the war was developing, not only with speeches and conferences, but also with the use of the world through the mass media.
20:10She also showed the importance attributed to the combat that it was necessary to wage with the force of ideas.
