00:05Arjun Manubhai Patolia's wife Bharti died of cancer just weeks ago on May 26 in London.
00:11Before Bharti passed away, she had asked her husband to take her ashes back to her homeland.
00:15Arjun had moved to the UK at the age of 20.
00:17There, he ran a furniture shop and met Bharti.
00:20He worked as an accountant.
00:21To fulfill her last wish, Arjun immersed her ashes in the Narmada river at the native village
00:25of Vaidya in Amrilli district, Gujarat.
00:28After completing the rituals, Patolia was to return home to his two daughters who had
00:32remained in the UK.
00:33Arjun's mother who lives in Surat is devastated, having lost her son in the Air India crash
00:38just days after her daughter-in-law's death.
00:40She has given her DNA sample to help identify his body so it could be brought back to Vaidya
00:44for the last rites.
00:46The two daughters, just eight and four, were still mourning the loss of their mother.
00:49And now, this tragedy has hit them.
00:52The girls are currently in the care of their uncle in London.
