00:00Hey guys, welcome back to Explainer X today. I am going to recap 2001 romance thriller movie.

00:06Name Original Sin. So, let's begin. At the beginning of the movie, we see a beautiful

00:10girl named Julia. And she was telling her story to someone. Then the scene shifts and we see a

00:15man named Louis. Who was on his way, to see a girl for his wedding. He also has the girl's

00:20photo with him. Her friend Ellen says, that this girl is not beautiful in the slightest.

00:25Now answering him on this, Louis says that beauty is not always seen. After this Louis

00:30meets that girl. But he sees that the girl, is not the girl in the photo. And she is quite

00:34beautiful. Actually this is Julia that we saw at the beginning of the movie. Seeing this,

00:39Louis tells him that you are not the girl I was going to meet today. On this, Julia says

00:44that the photo I sent you, was of my sister and I did this because. I do not want anyone

00:48to marry me after seeing my beauty. Hearing this, Louis realizes that they are the same,

00:52so they get married. After marriage, Julia comes to his house and Louis were also very

00:57happy to marry Julia. The next morning he comes to know that the letter, had sent it in writing.

01:02It was not actually written by Julia but by her sister. After this, both spend time together

01:07for several days. During this time, a physical relationship also develops between them.

01:21Then he sees Julia talks to an unknown man. Asks Julia about it but Julia changes things

01:26by kissing him. The next day he receives a letter from Julia's sister in the office,

01:30from which he gives it to Julia. Actually, Julia's sister wrote in that letter that

01:34Julia has not spoken to me since marriage. Nor has he sent me any letter. On this,

01:39Louis tells Julia that, you should write a letter to your sister. Otherwise she will feel,

01:43that you are missing and then she can even go to the police, to get your missing report written.

01:47Then one night, Louis sees the bruises on Julia's back. The next day, at the behest of Louis,

01:53Julia for his sister, writes a letter. Now slowly Louis falls in love with Julia,

02:03needed. After this one day a private detective named Walter, comes to meet Louis. He says that

02:17the Julia. That's why Louis invites Walter to his house on the next Sunday. After coming home,

02:23he tells this to the Julia, whom Julia gets a little scared hearing. Then the scene is cut

02:27and we see Julia in prison. And it turns out that Julia was telling the priest, everything we've seen

02:32so far. While outside the prison, a guard was preparing some kind of machine to punish Julia.

02:37After this, Julia starts telling her story again. And we see Julia's sister Amy meeting Louis,

02:43and tells her that the letter was sent to her from Julia's side. It was actually not sent by Julia,

02:48but by someone else because the handwriting written in that letter is not that of her sister Julia.

02:53After listening, Louis immediately leaves to come home. When he comes home, he learns that Julia has

02:58run away with all her belongings. Louis then goes to the bank where he comes to know that some time ago

03:03Julia withdraw all the money from his account. Louis suffers a major setback and becomes very

03:08lonely and depressed. Louis was completely broken, because of Julia's actions. And now he wanted to

03:14kill Julia. After this he meets Detective Walter. Louis tells Walter to find Julia, for which he was

03:19prepared to pay her the amount. Now Walter also had to find the real Julia. So he says yes to this

03:25offer. The two then go ship as their captain and staff learn, that both are on the Julia ship.

03:30Then they also get a clue about the fake Julia, there that she can find us in Havana City.

03:35So both, they come to Havana City where they both book hotel rooms. And they start staying there.

03:40While Louis is doing some work in her room, we see Walter take out his gun, from his bag so,

03:45that Louis cannot kill Julia. After this, Louis goes to a restaurant to have a meal. And here he

03:51hears Julia's voice. He then follows her and discovers, that it is his wife Julia. Julia was wearing a

03:57mask on her face, and she was talking to an old man. After they leave, he learns from the waiter

04:02that Julia is staying in his same hotel. Then Julia takes an old man to her room and then she

04:07seduces him. And then drives him away from his room. After this she starts writing letters to a

04:12man named Billy. But at the same time Louis comes there. And he asks Julia, who is this Billy?

04:18Julia reveals that Billy is a friend of hers. Then Louis tells him, that you killed the real

04:23Julia and you took her place. On this Julia says, that I didn't kill the real Julia, and that her

04:28mind was just an accident. Then Louis tells that, how much he loves her and stating this, he gets

04:34very emotional. And then he forgives her, because Louis loved her very much. Then Julia begins to tell

04:40her story to Louis. She says my real name is Bonnie. I grew up in the orphanage, and there lived a boy

04:45named Billy, with me and at the age of 12 we both ran away from there. Julia is telling all this when

04:51Louis stops her. And says that I do not want to know what is your past. All I know is that you are

04:56my wife. And then the next day at the restaurant, Louis comes to know from Walter, that the dead body

05:01of the real Julia has been found. And now not only him, but the police are also looking for the fake

05:06Julia. On hearing this, Louis gets very nervous and after a while, takes Julia from there to another

05:11city. But even there he meets Walter. In fact Walter had received the news. That Julia had come to such

05:17a city. Seeing Walter. Louis takes her to a coffee shop. And as soon as he gets a chance,

05:22he leaves from there and comes straight to the house. To pick up Julia. But Julia was not at home

05:28at that time. That's when Walter comes over there too. Because he suspected that Louis was trying to

05:33hide Julia. After this, a scuffle ensues between the two, and during this time Louis accidentally

05:38shoots Walter. At the same time, Julia at home. Seeing she comes back, Walter tries to walk towards her.

05:45Seeing this, he shoots Walter again, due to which Walter dies there. Louis feels very sad that he

05:51has just killed a living person. Seeing this, Julia takes care of him and says that he will hide from

05:56us, and he will leave the city and go somewhere. Louis agrees to this, and he goes to get train

06:00tickets. After leaving him, we learn that Walter is not a detective, but Julia's friend Billy and he

06:06is not dead yet, but still alive because he had already replaced his guns bullets, with fake bullets

06:11and Julia is also cheating on Louis. After this, Billy tells Julia that Louis is going to San Diego

06:16and sell the shares of his company, which will get a lot of money, and we will both steal that money,

06:26in love with Louis. But when Billy forces a lot, he has to agree. After that came home with train ticket.

07:46coffee. So he confirms with Julia, and asks her to tell the truth by gunpoint. Julia tells him her

07:52truth and complete plan. Louis says that you were good or bad, I love you only and just after saying

07:57this, he drinks the poisoned coffee. Julia tries to stop Louis. Due to which the light turns off.

08:03Seeing this, Billy standing outside comes inside. So Julia takes Louis out of the back way. Now Julia

08:09has understood that Louis truly loves her. So she takes Louis to the railway station to save her.

08:15But Billy comes over there too. He holds Julia and says that you cannot cheat me. Then the Louis gun

08:20comes out. And this time Louis had real bullets. And then he shoots Billy with real bullets.

08:25Now hearing the sound of gunshot. Some people come there. And then Julia asks them to call a doctor

08:30for Louis. And shoot and kill Billy in front of them all. After this we see Julia in prison. And
