00:00here are the odds to be crowned an NBA champion and hoist that Larry O'Brien trophy. You might
00:06think, all right, after three games, you see a team at a minus 235 favorite place. That team is
00:12up two to one, right? Nope. The Thunder in a hole and yet still a strong favorite at minus 235. The
00:20Pacers are getting a game and a half, but with some pretty hefty chalk in that series spread,
00:25which is interesting DRS because if Indiana can at least get to seven, even if they come out on the
00:31losing end of the NBA finals, they will cover that number. And we are expecting from the odds
00:38perspective to see the entire distance of this NBA finals, the most likely outcome, seven games at
00:45plus 106. The Pacers hold a two one series lead entering yet another home game in Indy on this
00:52Friday night in game number four. DRS, how do you see this series situation?
00:59Yeah, it's great series situation. And also you're still getting a lot of respect here from the odds
01:02makers on the Thunder and rightfully so the algorithms still add up as sooner than later,
01:06the better team is eventually going to take over. Well, that better happen, but also understand this
01:10from a series perspective. Both of these teams have to absolutely love only a one day break.
01:15Number one, the Pacers, we want to keep that momentum here. We're at home. I can't wait to get
01:18on that home court. And also just to get the bad taste out of your mouth for the Thunder. You don't
01:22want to linger in a city two extra days here. Oh, no, we lost. What happens if we lose game
01:26number four? Like you want to get back on that court as soon as possible. And we're going to do
01:30that, which sets up a really good game here. So if you're looking for the series prices,
01:34the minus 235 does still seem a little bit steep because we're not coming at this, you know,
01:39from an objective that says games one, two, and three. My God, Oklahoma City was up 30 points in each
01:45one of those games. They just didn't score in the fourth quarter. Eventually they'll do that.
01:49You can't tell me that we're watching these games saying like, you know, OKC just was playing bad
01:53basketball. No, like Indiana is playing good basketball against a really good basketball team.
01:58And nobody's surprised that they're actually up to one outside of your pre-series thoughts on what
02:02the series was supposed to be. But watching these games, there's no overmatched basketball team
02:07just getting lucky winning some games here. Like Indiana is in this thing to win this. Now,
02:11the interesting part is going to be how it happens tonight, because this series certainly goes two
02:15different ways. A victory for Oklahoma City, they'll be way back into the driver's seat.
02:20But a victory for the Pacers, then you start saying, who actually is really the better team
02:25here in the playoffs? Because the Pacers have had this MO all the way through as is. Nobody talking
02:29about them until they're in a position to close out a team. We didn't think they'd be able to close
02:33out. Minus 235, which was minus 230 yesterday. So still the public buying in on the Thunder. And I
02:39agree. I think the Thunder do win tonight. We'll get into that just a little bit later. But from a series
02:43perspective, heavy favorites still on the Thunder. And they don't even have home field at home court
02:47advantage. And they don't even have the series lead, which is the wild part about it.
