00:00But DRS, as the odds makers anticipate, it's going to be all OKC,
00:05and it might be done rather quickly.
00:08The Thunder in the early hypothetical matchup against the Pacers were a minus 770
00:14favorite.
00:15When this line opened up on Sunday morning, it was minus 700 in favor of OKC.
00:21Outright, it is now minus 750.
00:25There is no doubt, DRS, that the best team in the association throughout this
00:29regular season and in the playoffs, one of the best teams we have seen
00:33combining the regular and postseason in NBA history.
00:37That being the Thunder, should be a minus money favorite to win the NBA championship
00:42this year.
00:43But in your estimation, should it be this large of a series advantage in favor of the Thunder?
00:50I don't think it should be, but let's understand this.
00:52Like the NBA is like, you know, you look at, we'll talk about the Stanley Cup finals,
00:56right?
00:56Like, hey, man, it's basically a pick-em here.
00:57That's what you like from a national broadcast perspective where everybody can buy in.
01:02You look at a team like the Pacers, they play in Indiana, coming into the playoffs.
01:05There's not really too many Pacer fans here.
01:07Can't wait to see the Pacers advance.
01:09You're normally talking about, you know, Spider Mitchell up there in Cleveland or
01:11obviously the Celtics and what you can get out of the West Coast, which would be if LeBron
01:15James and Luka Doncic made a deep run, or at least Nikola Jokic in the Denver marketplace,
01:20which now you have the Thunder and the Pacers, which is not a sexy matchup.
01:23And if you're looking at just the odds there, the Thunder minus 750, if we get a short series
01:27and or a gentleman sweep, this might be one of the lowest rated finals in the history of
01:32the NBA, which is never a good thing.
01:33I'm not saying we're going to enjoy this, but you read the tea leaves, right?
01:36Typically it's hated teams and dynasties that people will tune into.
01:40Number one, to cheer for.
01:41Number two, even more, to root against.
01:43You don't really have that on either side right now.
01:45And from an OKC perspective, they're really good.
01:48We get that.
01:49But every time I go online, like SGA, great basketball player, free throw merchant.
01:52There's such a team I can't like, or I like to hate that team or the Pacers.
01:55Just, you know what?
01:56Good basketball team.
01:57No true superstars, if you will.
01:59But we'll watch.
02:00You better hope that the NBA sees those price points.
02:02Man, I hope we get at least six games in this finals, because if it's OKC in a runaway
02:07and also just getting a little bit ahead of myself, game number one, nine point favorite,
02:12no injuries on the Pacers, equal time off.
02:15That's crazy, man.
