00:10Natanggap na ba ng Impeachment Court yung resolution ng Kamara na nagpapatunay rao na sila'y sumunod sa saligang batas?
00:18Upon confirmation sa Senate Secretary na tumata yung branch or Clerk of Court ng Impeachment Court, wala pa mula kahapon na kaming natanggap.
00:28Hindi muna tinanggap din ng Kamara yung ibinalik na Articles of Impeachment hanggat hindi raw sinasagot ng Senate Impeachment Court yung mga clarification ng House Prosecution Panel.
00:41Igan, unang-una wala pa silang finafile sa Korte na any motion for clarification.
00:46Sa mga news reports lang namin narinig yun pero as to the Impeachment Court wala pang formal filing so hindi pa pwedeng maka-acto ang Impeachment Court regarding that matter.
00:57Tapos dun sa hindi naman nilang pagtanggap, wala namang ibinabalik technically sa kanila.
01:03It's just a constructive referral back to them para lang mapabilis ang proseso.
01:08At kung makomply na nila yun, umusad na ulit yung mangyayari sa impeachment.
01:13Okay, so medyo hindi tama ba yung observation ng Philippine Constitution Association o PILCONSA na pinapaikot-ikot lang ng Senado ng proseso ng Impeachment Court na tila iniiwasan ng mandato na maging Impeachment Court?
01:27Mali yung ganong argumento?
01:28Para sa Impeachment Court po, we welcome yung mga ganyang mga komento at saka mga legal views ng iba't ibang mga tao as part of the political process po ng Impeachment na hindi lamang po na legalistic.
01:43So ordinary yung mga kaso po, bawal po usually naatakihin ang mga desisyon ng isang Supreme Court, for example, kung mako-contempt ka dyan.
01:53Pero ngayon po dito, dahil political process po ito at sui generis, sinahayaan po yan ng Impeachment Court for the meantime dahil nakaka-mature po yan ang democracy natin.
02:05Ngayon sa iniisip po nila na tumatagal, wala po talagang tumagal kasi katulad po ng sinabi ng presiding officer at ng mga ibang mga tumayong senator judges doon,
02:15sa pag-i-issue po ng summons, umuusad na rin po yung sa parte po ng prosecution at kahit naman po, with or without that order na in-issue ng Impeachment Court natin,
02:24pareho pa rin po yung timeline natin. 10 days pa rin po sa sagot hanggang June 23 yung vice-presidente, tapos 5 days po yung prosecution hanggang June 28.
02:35Ibig sabihin po, bago matapos yung termino nila, meron pa rin pong authority yung mga House prosecutors to file their reply to the answer.
02:43So with or without that, ganun pa rin po yung timeline. Napaaga pa nga po ng isang araw.
02:48So tatawid na ito ng 20th Congress?
02:53Kahit wala po yung order na yun at kahit meron pong order na yun, ang assumption na po ng Impeachment Court ay yung some of the proceedings will actually cross over to the 20th Congress.
03:04Kaya nga po para ma-assure po na tuloy-tuloy po ang pag-usad at wala na pong any hiccups along the way,
03:10ay yung House of Representatives na po ang sumagot para sila na po ang mag-determine ng constitutionality ng proceedings at hindi na po tayo umasa sa Korte Suprema.
03:19Okay, may communication na po ba sa office ni Vice President Duterte, hinggil dito sa summon? May balita na po?
03:25In-acknowledge na po nila yung pagka-receive po nila ng summons.
03:29So umaandar na po tayo ng 10 days hanggang June 21 po pero Sabado po yun.
03:35So June 23 po yung inaasahan natin na filing po nila ng answer or any pleading po na inisip ng depensa nila na i-file po sa Impeachment Court.
