00:00I was gassing up in the Grand Canyon, but when I saw her, when she got closer I was
00:08able to see how rough of shape her ferns was in. I came to find out that local
00:14authorities have been trying to get her for about three months. It was very skittish,
00:20like had been there a while and was not going to let someone just grab her.
00:24So I came back that night and basically was like, I'm just going to stake out here till I see her
00:33again. Hopefully I see her again. I did not know how difficult she was going to be to catch.
00:40So the next day when we came back, she did not hop up out of the canyon like she always did the
00:45four or five days prior. So when we put the drone up in the air and we flew it down, I was probably
00:49flying it for about an hour. And I was checking the nooks and crannies again and I saw her big
00:55puffy white tail flipping in the air. We couldn't have known that she was going to follow the drone
01:02all the way into where we were. We tried luring her in different ways.
01:12She was just so smart. She was not going to allow herself to get caught. She was circling the cage
01:17for like the first minute. It's like she knew the trap was under the carpet.
01:29She had been in that cage nearly three fourths of the way.
01:34She knew a little bit. She was like, I can't do this anymore. I'm just going to take a risk.
01:47She just laid down and kind of was at peace with it.
01:58The ride was tough for her. She clearly had never been in a car before.
02:03But it was a long drive. I mean, it was a 26-hour drive to Minnesota.
02:08My biggest concern, is she going to get along with my cat? Is she going to get along with my dog?
02:13And I was just so ecstatic and pleasantly surprised when the first time they met that she was licking
02:28Jack's forehead, cleaning his ears. They were like kind of rubbing their faces against each other
02:34and playing. And she was so gentle with him.
02:41Really a testament to who she is and her heart and her loving side.
02:47Because she just treated him like a little brother.
02:52They do everything together. I mean, literally everything.
02:57That they were both watching birds and they were like, their heads were going back, left and right.
03:02That her tail was wagging. That just warmed my heart so much when she warmed up to my dog.
03:10How I ever doubted these two is hilarious and beyond me.
03:13But literally from the first second they ran into that living room together, they are non-stop now.
03:21And she's learning a lot from Marbles.
03:23It's almost like Marbles teaching Hacia to dog.
03:26The entire thing has been a miracle. Every single step.
03:33I'm like so thankful.
