Ahmedabad (Gujarat), June 12, 2025 (ANI): Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu arrives at the Air India plane crash site to take stock of the situation. An Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London with 242 people on board crashed into a doctors' hostel near the Ahmedabad Airport. According to DGCA, the London-bound Air India flight crashed in the Meghani Nagar area of Ahmedabad following the take off at 01:38 pm on June 12. The Boeing aircraft was carrying 242 people including 12 crew members. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu who was in Vijaywada rushed to Ahmedabad after receiving the news of the plane crash.

01:37Very tragic and very very horrific and even till now I have to say I am in a state of

01:44I was when the event happened I was in Vijaywada doing the review of that airport and attending
01:49one state program but the moment I got to know this incident happened I wanted to be
01:54here physically at the site try to find out more about what happened and what needs to
01:59be done and also Honorable PM has called me and also told me to be there at the site and
02:05also look into the operations which is going on right now and right now if you ask me I
02:10can only think about the passengers their families what they might be going through and especially
02:18the civilians also who are there near the crash site.
02:21A lot of relief effort has been done already right from Indian Army, NDRF, state police,
02:31medical departments including aviation concern departments everyone has attended immediately,
02:36the fire department to the best of their abilities they have been functioning here and doing
02:41the rescue operations and we still have to find out the numbers I don't want to put any
02:47wrong numbers to you so we still have to go through the numbers and my condolences my prayers
02:55my thoughts with the families of the bereaved and we are trying to extend all the help that
03:00can be done and even our Honorable Home Minister is also coming to inspect the site right now
03:07he will be coming here we will go through another round of inspection we will talk to some of the
03:13people who are here and all the teams that are here and then we are having one meeting at the
03:18circuit house so we will be discussing some more things there maybe once we go through all these
03:26discussions we I can give you some more information but if you ask me then I am just thinking about
03:31the families and the passengers who are there it's a great loss yes it is very sad to know that

03:50there children were also there I would only say that each and every life is precious to us each and
03:56everyone is a very important person to us so it's an incident which has shaken the nation also
