00:00We've been talking about these sanctions imposed by five countries against Itamar Ben-Gavir
00:07and the finance minister of Israel, Bezalel Smotrich.
00:11Do you get the impression the Israeli government fully stands by those two individuals?
00:18Well, of course, there are two ministers in the government holding key positions.
00:24One of them is the minister of finance.
00:26The other is the minister of homeland security.
00:28And, yes, it's definitely an essential part of the government.
00:34And the government stands behind them, for sure.
00:38I mean, you say for sure, but those two individuals are, you know,
00:41it's obviously a coalition government and those two individuals are at the further right edge of the political spectrum.
00:48I mean, is it a given that the government would stand by the two of them?
00:54It is a given because if they don't stand,
00:56first of all, because of the merit of the issue that they are against,
01:01the idea of sanctions against Israelis in the first place,
01:03whatever Israelis you're talking about, even if they're from the right.
01:07And especially when we are in the midst of a war,
01:11this sounds so really audacious that something of that could happen,
01:16then definitely they stand beside them and support them.
01:20And secondly, if they don't, the government is going to fall.
01:22So what do you expect them to do?
