00:00You really got how big of a role this villain role that was offered to you?
00:08Because basing it on the trailers,
00:11what was the big exposure you gave and emphasis on the role of Mithena?
00:17Yes, actually Miss Suzette really made it clear to me when we were talking about the first time.
00:26I think they also didn't really give me any room to say,
00:32because the explanation and the build-up to this series and this character was made very very clear to me.
00:42It pressured me from the very beginning, made me nervous, made me question myself.
00:48And those are all of my favorite things to go through when I'm trying to figure out how to play a character.
00:54Because it's when I'm removed from my comfort zone that I feel like I will learn something from this experience.
01:02And it's how I prove to myself also that I still really do care about the craft.
01:09What were the sacrifices that you had to make or the things that you had to give up for this role?
01:17Like sleep and things like that.
01:21Okay.
01:22There...
01:23Well, no, actually...
01:26I actually felt very good about the...
01:31I think it's because I've been doing difficult shows for a long time that it's really become like my norm.
01:41I've been comfortable putting myself in uncomfortable situations already.
01:50So, I think it just helps to make me more patient, more mature.
01:56When I know I'm about to do something difficult and I'm faced with challenges everyday.
02:03But I just get up, I go to set, I do it.
02:06Okay.
02:07Ayun.
02:08It teaches me some strength.
02:10Okay.
02:11Based on what you said earlier, I'm guessing you had hesitation to accept the role at first.
02:19But after doing it, you don't have any regret that you've accepted the role.
02:24Oh, yeah.
02:25It's really no regret.
02:26It's really no regret.
02:27In fact, I thank myself.
02:28And I thank GMA and I thank everyone who thought that I could do this.
02:35Because when I think of the kind of character that Mitena is, she's so far from who I am.
02:42So, I can't believe that they wrote her and thought that I can do it.
02:49So, yeah.
02:51I'm amazed.
02:52They think more of me than I think of myself.
02:55So, I just feel very lucky, very blessed.
02:59And I'm so happy that I did it.
03:02You know, just doing the media con today.
03:06The grandness of it.
03:08The people cheering.
03:09You can feel people were crying.
03:11You can see how important this has been to so many generations.
03:15And just being a part of it is surreal.
03:19So, yung mga pasts, you never auditioned?
03:22Yung...
03:23Yung ikaw ba na ako meron?
03:24Sa past?
03:25Uh, there were times, um, in the other...
03:30Yung...
03:31Oh...
03:32Yung...
03:33Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
03:34I'm like, how do you describe that?
03:35I'm just, how can I say...
03:37Well, I have no regrets naman din of those times because, um, those projects became very wildly successful for the station and for everyone who was part of it.
03:50And I think, sometimes that's just part of destiny.
03:53If it wasn't meant for me yet, that's why I never feel bad if I'm about to do something and then something happens with the scheduling and then someone else does it and then they win an award.
04:08I'm like, that's destiny. That wasn't meant for me. That was really her role.
