00:00The only choice. She saw you in the Royal Blatt, and she called you, when you zoomed, what was your reaction?

00:11I couldn't believe it. I was very very flattered because of the kind of role that it was.

00:20Actually, at the time, I was actively avoiding doing fantasies because I wanted to do more dramas and kind of cement myself in that kind of,

00:34but when she told me the story, this was not a role that I could pass up.

00:42I loved the whole journey of the character.

00:46They really gave me a lot to work with, the whole character, from beginning to end.

00:53So, yeah, I was just so excited.

00:56I said, this is the only time that, one, I came back to the Fantaserie, and two, to be part of the Encantadio world.

01:07What was your last Fantaserie?

01:09I believe, India.

01:11I was just so excited.

01:13Yeah.

01:14Anyway, Rian said to me, Suzette, that you have a lot of attributes in the whole character, even the way you look.

01:22So, can you just share, what is that?

01:25Well, actually, not really.

01:28The costume, I had seen sketches.

01:32But, I guess my contribution to the way I look was I wanted to help source pieces of putting this together.

01:46Because, doing a fantasy, especially when there are fight scenes involved, there needs to be, you know, a certain level of comfort and being able to move in the clothing.

01:58So, yun lang naman yung mga, yung mga kinontribute ko.

02:04So, that would be helping to find where these are from, where this is from, gana.

02:11This is the actual costume?

02:13This is one of the actual costumes.

02:16So, ito yung royal gown ni Metena.

02:18She wears this when she's doing queenly duties.

02:22And, my last name, Sila.

02:26Rian, what can we learn from your, what have you learned so far from your character?

02:30What I've learned so far, because, I mean, it's not naman a spoiler that this is an evil person.

02:38Or not person.

02:39Oh, sige, person.

02:41This is an evil role.

02:44And, I really do love playing the flawed characters.

02:49I really enjoy when there's something noticeably wrong with the character.

02:57Kasi, that's when my imagination goes wild and I really get to tap into my empathy.

03:05What would someone like that be going through to bring out the worst in them?

03:12So, ayun, inintindi ko siya.

03:17And, I think that somehow, playing these bad guys or playing these flawed characters makes me a better person.

03:29A better, more understanding person.
