00:24This is Crazy Chicken VR Blast by the developers Neonic Game Studios and it was released on the 13th of February 2025, so there's nothing complicated in this game, it's just a straight up simple and fun arcade shooter.
00:42Choose between arcade or endless mode, but you will have to play through arcade mode first to unlock endless mode, then pick one of eight levels, pick your weapon and then you can even pick cheats to use to your advantage, or costumes if you have unlocked them.
00:57Then off you go, blasting away at as many chickens as you can, but you will need to take a second to reload, but there are blue ammo boxes that you can shoot which will automatically reload your weapon.
01:07There is also a special colourless chicken running around, that if you shoot it, it will give you something special for a short amount of time, like a minigun, a water gun, a shooting frenzy, or a sniper rifle.
01:20But be careful, for some of those pesky chickens will throw eggs at you, which you can either dodge or shoot down, but if it hits you, it will obstruct your vision slightly for a few seconds.
01:31There are also a few other things in the levels to shoot, so keep your eyes peeled. Each level also has a scoreboard if you are competitive.
01:39Depending on how many points you get, you will score one to three stars, three being the best. Try to score three stars for new unlocks.
01:47All of the levels are a decent size, and each one looks absolutely brilliant. So colourful and well designed, with many details to look at.
01:56They are also done in 360, so attacks can come from all sorts of directions.
02:01One of the levels is a mixed reality level, so you will get to start in your room, then blast holes in the walls, floor, ceilings, and windows and doors to reveal a whole new world of chickens.
02:11So, it's not a very long game. You will play through each level a few times, but I really think at least 15 to 20 levels will be a nice amount to have.
02:20And as much fun as the game is, a few more extra games within the level might help towards replayability.
02:26I didn't encounter any bugs, no freezing, no weird or crazy stuff going on. It all worked perfectly and ran smoothly.
02:34Menus are fun and fitting with the theme of the game, and the controls are dead simple, and you will have them down pretty much instantly.
