Chandigarh, June 12, 2025 (ANI): Chandigarh faced heatwave conditions as the temperature soars around 43 degrees Celsius. IMD predicted the situation will increase further in 2-3 days before coming down. “The Loo conditions are there in Punjab and Haryana, and the temperature has ever scored above 45 degrees in some districts of the states. In Bathinda, the temperature has touched 47.6 degrees... This situation will be there for 3 more days, and the Western districts of Haryana and Punjab will face severe heatwave conditions. After 14 June, thunderstorms will occur in the districts close to the mountains, and the temperature will decrease... The temperature of Chandigarh is also above normal. It touched 43.8 degrees yesterday...,” said Surender Paul.
