JP and Neil Greenberg have loved what they've seen from MacKenzie Gore this season.

00:00But what do you think when you watch McKenzie Gore?
00:03He's starting to hit a – one of my favorite things in sports is a true young stud pitcher.
00:10And I think he deserves that title.
00:14I do.
00:16You know, he's one of the young stars in the game.
00:22He's, you know, very, very difficult to play against.
00:27He can get players to chase pitches.
00:31He's got good stuff.
00:33And he's just, you know, steadily on the upswing.
00:38You know, I mean, he's – you know, you look at just how he's kind of progressed here, you know, since he's been in the majors.
00:46And, you know, it seems like his strikeout rate has gotten a little bit better every year.
00:51His walk rate's certainly improved.
00:53And then this year, you know, just boom, he's striking out, you know, more than a third of batters he's facing.
00:59His walk rate is career low, short career, but still career low.
01:04You know, and whenever you see young players that have that type of command at the strike zone, you know, that typically – you know, that shows that they're on the upward trajectory.
01:15And more importantly, that the upward trajectory is real, right?
01:18Like, he's not benefiting from good luck.
01:21He's not benefiting from, you know, a high-scoring run environment.
01:26I mean, he is getting on the mound and doing exactly what they want him to do.
