00:00A humanitarian convoy of 1,500 people arrived in Libya on Tuesday after driving from Algeria and crossing to Tunisia is part of a journey aimed at reaching the Gaza Strip to break Israel's blockade.
00:14The convoy, which mainly consists of activists and supporters from Algeria and Tunisia, is expected to attract more people from Libya.
00:21They arrive in Zawiyah City in Libya and plan to reach Gaza via Egypt's Rafa crossing, traveling by cars and buses.
00:30We have 1,500 participants coming from Tunisia and the number may increase and there may be also additional participants.
00:39The reason for participation is to pressure for the opening of the Rafa crossing and bringing in aid to the Gaza Strip, which is suffering greatly as a result of the Zawani siege.
00:51The group is expected to cross the border into Egypt where they are expected to reach Cairo before heading to Rafa.
01:00I am urging all the free people of the world to set out in land, sea and air convoys to reach Gaza in spite of the brutality and threats of the Zionist entity.
01:12According to the organizers, more participants are expected to join the convoy.
01:17We set off in a group of buses and cars.
01:22Every time we pass through Algerian cities, many others will catch up with us until we reach the Tunisian border, our sister country, Tunisia.
01:31The activists began their journey to protest Israel's military campaign in Gaza, one of the deadliest and most destructive wars since World War II, as well as the blocking of humanitarian aid.
01:42Experts have won a famine in the territory of over two million people unless blockade is lifted and Israel ends its military offensive.
