So because it is this situation, the victims of this situation are the ordinary people of Sikihor.
00:41And they cannot go about their business. Yung pa naman, Sikihor is growing so quickly at nagiging tourist destination ng Sikihor, they are losing that opportunity to develop dahil nga dito sa kakulangan ng kuryente.
00:57Kaya at ang ginawa natin, at least in the short term. In the short term, nagpapunta tayo rito ng mga genset, ng malalaking genset, dalawang genset galing palawan na naayos naman yung problema dun.
01:11Kaya pwede nang dalhin dito. That will, the gensets are arriving tonight and tomorrow.
01:23But this is a temporary, that will be a temporary solution. Kailangan natin makahanap ng permanent solution para yung Sikihor ay yung kanilang commitment para mag-provide ng kuryente sa tao to the cooperative.
01:40The cooperative is paying Sikihor properly. At we have to coordinate the different power plants na sa ngayon na hindi ba nagagawa.
02:08So for our short-term solution, yun na nga yung dalawang genset. Tapos we will, we have given ourselves, yung sa usapan namin, we have given ourselves a deadline of six months for this short-term solution.
02:21By six months from now, we will then impose whatever new arrangements that we have to do so that six months from now, we do not have to resort to the emergency genset.
02:39Now we have to think about fuel supply. We have to think about the development of even the transmission lines.
02:46We also have to make sure that the machines, the generators are working properly. Lahat ito kailangan natin maayos.
02:55We have to do this. SIPCOR has to live up to its commitments.
03:15Kaya kailangan natin na-resolve ba yung problema yun.
03:19But that's it. So for now, we have a solution.
03:23We will be able to provide power to the island of Siquijor.
03:28And we will be able to do that for the next six months.
03:31In the meantime, in the six months, in the interregnum, pag-uusapan namin na mabuti,
03:37we will be talking very seriously with SIPCOR to make sure that they, as I said,
03:43live up to their commitments at maibalik natin sa tamang sistema ang pag-dubay ng kuryente dito sa Siquijor.
03:50So that's the situation that we have right now.
03:54Sir, ng good morning. Ano po yung, yes, Catherine Tuban, sir, from Raja Vistok.
04:06Yun. That's what I just said. That is the assessment.
04:10The assessment is that the SIPCOR has to come up with, has to live up to their commitments.
04:15Maraming kakulangan.
04:17We have to repair the damage that has been caused by the collapse of the power supply.
04:22And that is the schedule that we have given ourselves.
04:26Six months.
04:27Six months?
04:27Six months from now, we will guarantee that there will be a long-term solution.
04:33Hindi na itong patsik-patsik na ating kailitan natin gawin ngayon.
04:39So the government will do its part. SIPCOR must do its part.
04:57But it will be a many that for suffrage in the commission.
05:00If you do not get approved of the process, you will be Mary for a single month.
05:02And just continue as the.
05:02Let's clean this process.
