The wait continues to find out if Tasmanians are headed to the polls with the governor to consider her options and meet with the Premier by the end of the week. Leader Jeremy Rockliff made the request on Tuesday evening after a mistake with what could be the parliament's final piece of legislation delayed its passage through state parliament.

00:00The potential final day of this Tasmanian Parliament was supposed to be a straightforward

00:09MPs expected to quickly pass supply bills, allowing public servants to be able to be
00:14paid during an election campaign.
00:16The supply bills support the continued delivery of existing services on a same policy basis.
00:22We will support our teachers, our nurses, our police, firefighters to get paid and for

00:38But just before lunchtime an eagle eyed MLC spotted a mistake in one of the bills.

00:55It meant the bills had to return to the lower house.
00:58I'll just point out that this is an embarrassing oversight for a Premier who has lost the
01:03confidence of this house for budget management.
